Jose and his team did a great job while working on several projects in our home. The team was professional, competent, and communicated very well throughout the entire project. Jose has done a big remodel and smaller jobs for us. He and his team do excellent work and are very ethical. Jose stands behind his work Jose is very responsive and is always available to answer questions or deal with any unexpected issues that may arise. They are a family business and treat their customers as if they’re family. I would highly recommend Jose to anyone who needs a contractor!Review from David B

We used J&L for a major renovation including our kitchen, main living areas, and bedrooms. Jose and his team did a fantastic job and were great at communicating/sticking to timelines. We recently contracted with them again to have hardwood installed and refinished elsewhere in our house and were similarly satisfied. I've recommended J&L to many friends looking for help on big or small jobs - they do the job right, show up on time, and clean up after themselves - all at a very fair price!Review from Robin L

I can't say enough good things about Jose Lopez and his team. Jose responds to all messages, provides great input and recommendations and does great work! I was trying to put my house on the market but had many issues with the house and he was extremely helpful in getting the help I needed and resolving the issues. He helped stop a leak in my basement and I ended up using his plumber when I couldn't get other plumbers to come out. He also fixed missing grout, caulked areas, nailed in areas on the deck. I am very grateful to him for helping me out when I was in dire need to quickly get all these projects done before I put my home on the market. I only wish I had a major project for him to do.Review from Karen H

J&L Enterprises did a fantastic job on my project. We gutted a basement and reconfigured the layout - including enlarging a window for egress and adding a full bath. I highly recommend Jose L**** and his team. They are professional, skilled, very honest and work efficiently. I did a major renovation of my home and they did a fantastic job. Jose and his team are professional and diligent. He has worked on numerous projects on our home in DC over the years. He has saved us money and helped us with creative ways to renovate our home during the pandemic. I highly recommend him for any type of home projects. He renovated our garage and made it into a semi-living space, fixed our bathroom with new titles and flooring. He knows what he is doing. A+++++++++++++++++++++++Review from Mike S

We've used J&L for a five projects on different properties over the past 12 years varying. Projects varied in size from adding additional windows, a kitchen renovation, to a complete gut and rebuild of a basement. They're our go-to for any home renovation project. Their most recent project for us was completed on time during the pandemic despite supply shortages. Jose and his crew are easy to work with, do high quality work and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with the end result.Review from Laurier F

Jose is a very competent and professional contractor who specializes in a variety of different home renovation work from very large projects to more discrete projects as well (such as refinishing hardwood floors). Jose has done several floors for us with excellent results including both refinishing old hardwood and installing new hardwood. In addition, Jose installed a master shower for us using the Schluter system with excellent results. Jose is a font of knowledge and can figure out the key variables in an equation to ensure that work goes according to plan (in terms of cost, schedule, and results).
