I had a replacement deck of composite boards and vinyl railings built onto the house. The old one was wooden and I wanted a new one not wood. I really did not have a clear concept of how the finished new deck would look. I'm still getting used to it. It is different in many ways-both good and disappointing. The two steady workers were excellent. I'm glad I had the same workers for most of the construction. They were very thorough. I valued their politeness, attention to details, safety, and code, interest in extra details and changes done to try to please me, consistent work schedule daily, cleaning up debris, and mostly verifying that I liked each phase of construction. The few times I had to leave while they were working I came home to details completed I was not aware would be added. Sometimes it was a pleasant surprise but sometimes not to my liking or missing a few items. The cost of this project was very expensive and possibly overpriced. However, I needed it to be built. At the start I questioned the contract wording and a couple of careless mistakes by staff. I'm not sure if I would choose this company again for another project.

I am over the moon with the outstanding results of the project. Stairway railings, posts, and balusters replaced and updated indoors. It turned out even better than I ever imagined. The crew was prompt, professional, extremely respectful of my home and furnishings, and cleaned up totally when the job was completed. I cannot recommend this company more highly. The office personnel with whom I had contact were also outstanding with their friendliness, professionalism and customer service.

Carolyn & John J We contracted the company to power wash out house, paint front porch, trim around by windows and wood behind by gutters and replace portions of the siding covered with unremovable paint splatter. The power wash was not the greatest. They left streaks and I was told it would blend in after of couple of rain storms. Not true. The paint job was good. The replacement of the siding was awesome. The biggest complaint we have is lack of communication. The project manager that came out to do the estimate said we would have it by that night or the next day. That did happen. After a week of waiting my husband called the company and they told us they had no record of the project manager coming out. They apologized and sent out a new project manager. We did get a quote which we felt was reasonable and signed a contract for the work. The next thing we know is that the first project manager showed up to oversee the work being done. He said he had been on vacation and dropped the ball. He did keep in touch with us via text/phone call when the workers were able to come out a few days earlier than planned to do the power washing, however, we were not informed that they would be coming earlier than planned to paint. They just showed up. We were not happy about that. We were not kept up about the status of the siding and were notified via e-mail at 7:02am that they would be showing up that morning. No phone call or text. We did find out that the original project manager no longer worked for the company. Work on your communication John Krause Constructions.

We had a heck of a time trying to get Best Buy to install our new Range. They kept giving me the run around. I contacted John Krause Construction company and they ended up doing the install. Did a great job and the team they sent out was very professional and explained all the steps needed for the install. The Range had a down draft vented to the outside and was a bit difficult to hook up and of course the new Range was just a bit bigger and they had to trim some of the counter top to get it to fit. Very please with the job and will defiantly use them again. Good people to do business with.

Dave did an excellent job communicating to use the entire process during the job. He explained each step and always followed up to see if there were any concerns. Tito and his brothers did an unbelievable job on the patio. Professional and took so much pride in their work, hard workers! We were so impressed and love our new patio. Thank you!
