Avoid at all costs!!! My company has done business before with account manager Ray Farler of Almo Corporation, but our recent interaction will make it the last time. During the process of making a large equipment purchase with the account manager the email thread was infiltrated by a fake account setting up ACH payment terms with their account at Amarillo National Bank. My company ran a thorough review of our email settings: checked to see if there were new users that had been blocked, unrecognized transport rules, unrecognized rules is OWA and email forwarding, unrecognized connectors, unknown users/admins, unrecognized connectors, and whitelisted domains finding nothing unusual on our companies end. Almo took minimal action on their part just informing us that the fraud "probably" occurred on our end. We had to file an FBI report, use the deductible on our company's digital fraud insurance and the only olive branch extended from Almo was to knock $15 bucks off each of the 14 displays we were going to order from them. It's definitely an unfortunate sequence of events and it hurts to have a business partner we have worked with in the past take zero responsibility and force their customers to shoulder all of the burden for something that clearly happened on their end. There are plenty of distributors out there so if you're considering using Almo Corporation as your distributor you may want to look elsewhere.
