First, this store is very hard to find which is incredibly misleading and I believe on purpose as to make it hard for customers to find all the horrible reviews on yelp. The address I visited was **** **** ****** ** **********, DC 20036. This address was the only one available in BBB and also listed on their business card. The store is also called Kim's Custom Cleaners. Store should not intentionally make it difficult for customers to find the reviews of their store. Second, I took a pair of pants ($60) to this dry cleaner to be cleaned and hemmed ($30). I have 2 pairs of identical pants both bought approximately 2 weeks before I took them to this dry cleaner. I returned one week later and took the pants home. I tried them on immediately and found they were completely stretched out in the waist band, piling, fraying at the seams, and generally worn out. I compared them to another pair of the exact same pants I already had and indeed you can see in the picture they are almost one whole size bigger. In addition, if you look at them closely, the larger pair is noticeably worn. I took them back to the dry cleaner who promised to work with their outside contractor (who they do not tell customers they work with) to fix them and if they couldn't be fixed, they would refund me. I returned today almost 2 weeks later, they never talked to their contractor about fixing them. They refused to refund me for even the cost of the dry cleaning. They stated they would need even more time to go talk to the contractor, then their insurance, then go to ZARA (the manufacturer of the ruined pants) in order to even consider giving a refund for any portion. I left the store with the ruined pants, they would not be following up with their insurance about this situation, and they were not planning on refunding me any portion despite explicitly promising me it could be refunded at any point if the pants were not fixed.
