when changing my internet plan, ******* told me i could save even more by switching my ******* mobile to xfinity, i told them i had free apple music, apple arcade, and the hulu/disney/espn+ bundle and ******* told me xfinity is part of ******* and everything would stay the same. Everything got deleted. the ported my number and once I noticed that was all a lie i promptly called back (within 1 hour of starting service) to cancel and go back to *******. they told me they could not port my number back and to call *******. they then said they would try to give me a different number to port out to replace my old number so I could then port my original number back to *******. After all was said and done, I had 3 phone lines I did not know about with xfinity and literally spent 14 hours over the course of a week speaking to them. During that same week, I was waiting for a call about a potential new job and I did not have a phone that worked. To add to this, i was assured I would be reimbursed for my time and money, that did not happen. I was told also they would call me back multiple times, that did not happen. ******* finally came to the rescue and got my old number back. I called xfinity to confirm there would be no charges and they told me since it was within a week i was good to go. about a month later I got a bill. Called them, they told me not to worry about it. A few months go by and a collections agency is hounding me for the xfinity phone bill. I called xfinity and was speaking to a rep for 3 hours and refused to get off the phone until they handled the situation. Billing apparently does not have its own phone line so ******* was just chatting with them and they came to the conclusion that my bill was just and I had to pay it. I was legit considering going in the hole to get a lawyer out of pure ethical reasoning as this is complete robbery. They eventually cancelled out my bill but now I am worried about my credit score. By far, the worst experience w/ a company.Review from Jody R

Comcast agents are promising significant discounts to customers who switch their landline to mobile service. Those discounts never materialize.Review from Richard C

I just had a horrible experience with phone customer service ********************** when I tried to renew the subscription for my olderly parents (father is 88 years old). In the beginning I was offered a reasonable option, but when I accepted it, I was told that because of technical difficulties I need to be transferred to someone else. After another hour on the phone with that person-*****, she told me that she will check the recording and call me back. No one called. I called today and spoke with 2 more people including supervisor ************** was offering only one option: to increase my parents payment and lower internet speed. Even after she saw the notes on account about better package offered to me, she didnt want to help my parents or owner that previous offer. My parents and I used to be loyal customers of the company. Now we will be looking for a different optionsReview from Beth M

The worst customer service agents on the phone and chat. Giant waste of time trying to deal with any of them for anything. They don't know how to handle customers with multiple accounts that they are responsible for (elderly family members). If you use your email and cell number for the account access it won't work across all accounts its too tough for them to figure out. Instead they try to access an account that was for me years ago that has been closed for years. The agents say they can help but dont, they pass you along and you have to tell the whole story over several times, they don't help just make you mad, they ask over and over who a dead person is, even though that should be on the account page so they don't ask a family member about deceased relatives 10 times- very insensitive. Won't let you cancel online, its absurd. Only way to get help is to go to a store but that is hard for me personally. WORKING WITH COMCAST AGENTS IS A NIGHTMARE ON THE ***** AND CHAT. Do everything you can to not be a customer, you will regret being an ********************** customer. If I could leave this review with no stars that would be more accurate.Review from Allison R

XFINITY MOBILE **************** used up hours of my time before they managed to correct connection issues, bill issues, and technical issues. Not once but every time I needed help so I finally broke down and wrote the BBB. This company is so disorganized with taking care of issues that every time it has taken at least 8 people and hours of my time to get anything done. TO THE CORPORATE HEAD, TAKE A REAL LOOK TO SEE WHAT A MESS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. The agents promised my issue would be fixed but because they involved so many people they didn't make progress. I have wondered if I could have a heart attack or stroke due to my blood pressure increase which is never high and through the roof after hours on the phone with them. They are nice, that's not a problem, they are just a bunch of dislocated employees all saying yes mam, making promises to fix things and getting nothing done. IT' 'S THE WORST MOST FRUSTRATING, TIME-WASTING, INEPT CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. After years of having an account with them, my last name is still spelled wrong. My new phone wasn't connected up correctly and cost me weeks of visits to the Xfinity store. My phone that was paid off showed it owed money so they wouldn't unlock it, they promised to unlock it because they agreed it was paid off they just couldn't get the balance to zero out on their system? My phone is listed as inactive on my account but it is active and working. The phone I turned in two years ago is still listed on my account. They are a mess....and none of the details matter to them, and it all catches up to them when a new customer service person looks into the account to help with something and they are confused because it's recorded incorrectly. You have to repeat your issue to NUMEROUS agents. SO exhausting. The phone service itself is decent. For me it fails on the employee level and how disconnected, slow, and downright inept they are.Review from Paige L

Their xfinity service is a terrible service with no ability to up front talk to phone representative with issues. My bill was increased many times. When I finally cancelled my service on March 19th after my contract was up in March I was told I would be prorated from the day I cancelled. I have attempted to contact their customer service but their ***** number makes you use their online chat portal. I have talked with two of their representatives about my refund and both tried to assure me it was being handled but I have yet to receive the money.Review from Sarah S

SCAM company. I called for **** services and the sales rep was more concerned on pitching me for mobile, saying I would get a gift card and everything. I told him I wasnt moved into my new address yet and he sent the sim card to that address anyways, assuring me it wouldnt be delivered until after my move in date, which was false. He also told me internet had previously been set up at my location and I just needed to pick up my modem, which was also false. I work from home and had to take the day off to schedule a last minute installation appt that cost me $150. Back to phones- I contacted another rep and told them that my sim card showed delivered before I moved in and there was no mail waiting for me upon move in. Told me I was not eligible for gift card anymore so I had him cancel that line. Ended up receiving my old sim card - opened- in the mail with a new sim card about two weeks later. I have talked to 5 different reps cause they keep passing me off to the "correct" department, which seems like none of them are. They told me billing auto starts 7 days after order- which the sales rep told me it doesnt start until you activate- they are saying the "bundle discount" doesnt start until you activate. They charged me 57 dollars and 47 dollars the last two months on service that was not activated. Told me they will not refund me then told me they would credit me but had to transfer me to wifi to credit cause they could only control mobile credit. The 4th person I spoke with then cancelled the mobile line for me and credited $90 to my mobile account assuring me that it would transfer over to my wifi account. ********************** account has now been closed and I have no credit on either accounts as of now. Tried contacting them again and they just started passing me off to different people again. Each person "assures" you that you have reached the correct person to help you and blah blah. The care more about sending smiley and heart emojis in chats then actually helping.Review from Christopher H

We switched to Xfinity Mobile from ******* and were told we would receive the promotional $100 gift cards for both of our lines. It has been over 6 months and every time I contact support I'm told we were never signed up but they will send it now. Last time I was also told I'll only receive one card even though we were told several times in writing we would receive two. It's just unreal how horrible mobile companies can be because of monopolies. They're just able to do this with no consequences because nothing will ever come out of it. Regardless, I'm reporting them and helping their score go down even more. Highly don't recommend them.Review from Hunter C

I was an xfinity customer from *********, and during my time I experienced some of the worst customer service from the company. They sent me equipment that I did not order and then charged me for it even after I returned it to the store location. They up-charhed my bill without notice. They never return calls/texts/emails when they say they will. They will never put anything in wirting even if you request for a confirmation email to be sent after a discussion. All calls are recorded on their end but they will not share recordings, so after 2 times of being gaslit by agents, I started asking if I could record them. That was all I'm the first year or so. Trying to cancel after I moved wad a horrendous experience. I cancelled my service in December, and they confirmed with me over the phone I was fully cancelled and paid in full. February rolls around and I get a bill from xfinity. I call again and they claim to have no record of my cancelation or my updated address to where I'm moving. I tell them to remove the charges and they said they needed to move it up the ladder to get it removed. I called back a week later and they confirmed that the charge was removed but that I had an early termination fee (new information 2 months after I cancel). They said they needed to look into it again, and since I was potentially given false information they would be able to remove the fee. They confirmed they would get back to me in 30 days (3 months after I cancelled my account). It's been 30 days and what do I get today? A NOTICE THAT I WAS SENT TO COLLECTIONS. No phone call, no warning, no mail, no text. I called today and was told that there was nothing I could do and no record of my complaint.Anyone and everyone should stay away from this company.
