The transaction occurred today the 3rd of June. The service dept. did tell me if they could not repeat the issue they could not fix it, but never told of any cost. Picking up the vehicle I was charged roughly $140 of which entailed them hooking my camper up to the power in their shop. They advised me that the issue I was having must have been a problem relating to how it was plugged in. However, when I dropped off the camper for service I advised them that I was having the issue while the camper was not plugged into anything, there for incorrectly plugging in the camper could not have caused my issue in the first place. They stated there was nothing they could do and that they had to charge me the full $140 for simply hooking it up to power and then claiming the problem was caused by something that they knew could not have cause the problem. I tried to work with them and ask it to apply the cost to future repaires only pertaining to the same issue but they refused!

Not happy with ************************* experience. Had my furnace bench test 8/23. Tech found no problems so I paid $80 for the test, bought a new thermostat for $65 and installed everything in my rv and heat still would not work. I called a mobile rv tech as State could not check it out for 6 weeks who discovered the tech who originally did my bench test left a switch turned off inside the heater. He turned it on and the new thermostat must have been the original problem as the system worked. He charged me $165 to basically turn on the internal board switch the State Tech had left off. I went back to State Trailer ****** to get reimbursed for the tech turning off the switch costing me $$$ and he told me no way as I probably turned it off when I reinstalled it. I got blamed for his mistake. ********

*********** did have his furnace bench tested. The furnace was out of the rig when we received it. To test a furnace, the on/off switch must be turned on. The technician has no reason to touch the switch unless it is off. If the technician turns it on, it is left on because the furnace will not function otherwise. Once the technician tests the furnace, there is no reason to touch the switch. *********** picked up his furnace and installed it back into his rig himself. The switch was most likely switched off as the unit was reinstalled due to the tight quarters and handling of the furnace as it was reinstalled. It's unfortunate that *********** had to have additional service done to troubleshoot the furnace, but we don't assume liability for how the furnace is installed back into the rig unless we perform the re-install.
