I have never known a day of good hearing in my life. I was born with nerve deafness and have missed much in conversations, in school, and work. Missing directives at work jeopardized my job. Missing instructions during school cost me grades. It was miserable. I hated hearing tests and hated dealing with my hearing loss. Ben was pretty cool amd made me feel at home. I had a hearing test and to no surprise it indicated severe hearing loss. I had tried hearing aids earlier in my life and could stand them. It made it worse. But Ben fitted me with a pair of Oticon1 hearing aids and I almost cried. I could hear things for the first time in my life. I sampled them for 30 days and quickly knew I had to have a pair of these. My employer noticed immediately that I was hearing things I would routinely miss and I wasn’t yelling when I talked, at least not as loud. My concern was money. How would I be able to buy them. Ben helped me get financing and after 30 days I had a brand new pair of Oticon1 hearing aids of my own. Life has been much better and I have been hearing things I have been missing for years.
