If I could give zero stars to this company I would. I messaged them and have not heard anything back. We were told when we purchased this warranty that it would cover almost all reasonable repairs with the exception of some electrical things. That was a lie. They have barely covered anything for us and we have had to have several repairs done on our vehicle recently. Beyond frustrated with them. Do not waste your money on this.Review from Steve B

Do not buy any service agreement with this scam company. They are very limited as to what they pay for, mostly things that do not break. I had coverage for over two years and finally called to see if they would cover a repair Of course that was not covered . Retired Marine Combat Veteran, do not ever purchase this scam!Review from Michael G

Where is the zero star? This is the worst warranty company ever. No mechanic in ******* would honor it and the salesman never told me it expired, they said it was a lifetime warranty. I wasted $2000 for this and could not use it. I feel like I was robbed , and would like a full refund. This company is horribleGold Standard Automotive Network, Inc. Response

Hello *******, you purchased a 3-year or 50,000-mile service contract; you did not purchase a lifetime service contract. The service contract terms and conditions are shown directly above your signature, so there is no confusion. Your contract did not say lifetime; it said 3 years/50,000 miles. ** the dealership that sold you the vehicle and the service contract stated it was something other than what was listed on the contract, your time to question it was then and there when you were with the dealer going over the contract and its limitations. Because Gold Standard is not there, we make sure our contracts are extremely easy to understand what you are getting so there is no confusion and so the customer cannot be told the contract is bumper to bumper or lifetime when it is not. The customer has an obligation to themselves to read the contract prior to signing it. As for you having wasted $2000, a Service contract is like car insurance; once your policy expires, you cannot demand a refund because you never needed to or chose to use it. The service contract is there in case of catastrophic failures to assist in the cost of the covered repairs; not needing it doesn't mean you were robbed; it means you bought a good sound vehicle that lasted you 4 years without any major mechanical issues. Our records show you also chose not to use it for your scheduled maintenance that fell within your coverage.Review from Sabrina M

They are a rip offI had a leak in my car took it to Range Rover they said its the radiator they wanted me to pay $2300 plus gold standard informed them they will only pay $1300 so I thought an extra $1000 is to much so I asked can I take to a different shop they said yes, found a different shop they were charging $1300 Gold standard send them an authorization for $693 I told them that dont make sense if I would have known I wouldnt have bought there service when I purchased my car. looks like to me they will make you pay half no matter what . I want my money back in I could have paid this myself whats the point of having them..Gold Standard Automotive Network, Inc. Response

Hello *******, we have looked into your claim and found the following. Both repair facilities you have visited are charging around $675 for a part that can be purchased for anywhere between $113 and $265 - we approved $318. Not even Land Rover charges what *********** facilities are charging. As for the labor, your contract has contract limits for the labor per hour rate of $135 an hour for franchise repair facilities and $100 an hour for independent. The franchise repair facility you first went to was charging $220 an hour an a 5.1 hours for a 4.4 hour job. The 2nd repair facility is charging $129 a hour. In both authorizations we approved the contract maximum for the labor time and rate. The current repair facilities estimate is for $1330.51, we approved $793.99 minus your $100 deductible so we will pay *********** facility $693.99. We have authorized your claim per the terms and conditions of your contract, if you would like to cancel your contract please contact customer service for the cancellation form and we will take care of that for you.Review from Kevis C

THIS WARRANTY COMPANY IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR REPUTABLE. I got all of their brochures from a independent dealership in ******, **; who is their partner. I called their customer service to verify where I could take my *** X5 before any issues happened. I was advised, any ASE Certified repair shop would be fine. I eventually had to towed my vehicle to a local *** Dealership in June 2023, and this company under their platinum plan denied all claims? I called customer service and challenged their denials, and oh it was denied by accident. I said really. I had to pay out of pocket a total of $5499 for all repairs on $3000+ service contract. The dealership where I purchased my vehicle, refunded the initial monies I paid on this service contract. I contacted a lawyer and was advised this company should be sued, due to misleading information and false advertising. I have all supporting documentation to support my claim. I want this service contact company to reimburse me for a third of the expenses I paid out of pocket. I want a cashier check for $1833 as a good faith reimbursement as oppose to suing them to recover the bulk of my $5500 spent on repairs.Gold Standard Automotive Network, Inc. Response

Hello *****, we have looked into your claim and found that you purchased the limited lifetime base powertrain plan, which could only offer assistance with repairs. We show we approved the maximum allowable per your contract for the Oil Filter Housing Gasket, $400.00. The other items that failed did not fall within your limited coverage. The claim has since been cancelled due to the contract being cancelled. If you have any questions please call customer service, we are happy to assist you.Review from Cy J

Thank you, *****, for taking the time to leave a review. We have looked into your cancellation, and we did receive a fax with a cover letter that said you wanted to cancel, but no form, then another fax with the same cover letter, and the next page is cut off. Without the completed form, we cannot cancel a contract. The contract has been canceled, and we did backdate the cancellation to March 23rd. We have also initiated the refund to go directly to you and have contacted the dealer to request they issue any portion of the refund they may owe you.Review from Ben H

Worst company to deal with as when you ask about your contract they dont dont offer any assistance.. one day the item is covered the next day. The item is not, and they cant explain it. Besides, they keep telling you the contract is different than what you bought.. I would recommend finding a different extended warranty company that is more organized.Gold Standard Automotive Network, Inc. Response

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. After reaching your review, we have found that you were always told that the running board motor(s) are not covered under your plan. We cannot assist with the repairs if the component doesn't fall within coverage. As to the contract you purchased vs. what you bought, we suggest you speak with your selling dealer. We adjudicate our claims from the contract that was entered into our system. If you have any other questions, please call customer service at 833-852-4653.
