    West Bend Insurance is one of the worst insurance companies I’ve ever had to deal with. Their driver was clearly at fault for the damages to my vehicle — even their own representative admitted during our conversation that she felt it was their driver’s fault. Yet instead of doing the right thing, they dragged the process out for weeks, refusing to respond and claiming they were “waiting on the police report.” When the report finally came back, they dismissed it as “not verbatim” and tried to lowball me by only offering to cover 50% of the damages. This is exactly what’s wrong with insurance companies today — they refuse to stand by their own words and fail to take responsibility. West Bend Insurance does not act in good faith, and I would strongly caution anyone against trusting them.

    My employer uses West Bend for worker comp cases. They have been great to work with. They take care of all the things! Everyone that I have worked with at West Bend has emailed me details and keep me in the loop. I am very please we work with West Bend.

    I was involved in a hit-and-run incident. Police report obtained video footage and cited the driver. West Bend use the excuse that they could not obtain video footage of the incident because they ignored my daily phone calls for one month and stated the footage was no longer available I contacted them to inform them that the police station had a copy of the video, but they did not reach out to obtain this just simply denied the claim. Customer service not only unresponsive but extremely rude. I would never use this company. They should not even be in business. The way that they currently do business is criminal and I hope that they go out of business soon based on the way they treat people.

    I have had West Bend Insurance for many years! I recently experienced significant vehicle and home storm damage ($10's of thousands) West Bend handled everything in less than a week. Most of my neighbors are still waiting for an adjuster to come out. Thank you for the great "Hometown" service. Truly a great Wisconsin Company.

    I have had them for years and made a few claims. Never a problem. I had a auto claim and received a quote for repairs that was less than then Westbend figured. They game me their figure and I didn't have to pay the deductible. Never any problems.

    Insurance adjuster is just trying to rob me and lie to my face after an accident. I feel like I'm being mugged currently. She acknowledges in our conversation that the comp vehicle 1 is a very accurate vehicle because it is one of the only two out of 8 that had the same transmission. Those 2 cars are all appraised (after all adjustments) at over a thousand more than my adjusted car value pretax.She responds with "comp 1 is very comparable because of the mileage and transmission and it's value is about the same as the settlement" well yeah only after taxes lol. The adjusted value is a thousand less. She's basically straight up admitting yeah the car is worth 1k more and I acknowledge that same transmission cars are the most comparable especially when it makes a difference in the range of thousands on list price for this particular make and model. But "it's okay because after taxes we are basically there."She basically told me if I want to negotiate I need to have sold listings like I have Karpower and am a dealer. Funny because when I tell her I am absolutely not accepting valuations based on manual transmission cars when there's no significant adjustment made for the fact that mine is an automatic, and she says "it's impossible to find exact matches." Like there have only been TWO automatic 3rd generation Miatas sold in this region. Bro they are literally everywhere. That's nonsense and even it was true, boohoo. She asked me to do the impossible to even try and have a seat at the table by only accepting sold listings as negotiating proof. But cries when I ask that my car not be compared to trim with such a lower value, at least when there isn't an adjustment made for it.Pfft. Immoral and without ethics this company is. I know this is not her fault and that this is probably how she is directed to operate. I am seriously going to consider all available legal options. Because this is straight up ridiculous. It's about principles

    My review is going to be a repeat of ************'s. I was in an accident with a West Bend Mutual Insurance Company client that was cited for failure to yield. I have contacted them multiple times to know the status of my claim. They have still not finalized the claim as of October 16th for the accident on September 8th. I have to constantly call and email with no return calls or emails. They have not been forthcoming and have made excuse after excuse for their failures. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.
