      "For the past three years or so, I have been struggling with the onset of presbyopia, along with a slight deterioration in my distance vision. The overwhelming obvious/easy answer from several different eye-doctors and optometrists has been "progressive lenses", but I simply cannot wear these things; they compromise everything so much that stuff looks okay, at best - but nowhere near perfect - and, at worst, they give me a headache and make me nauseous within minutes." ...
