    My Mother, *************************, was a resident at Milestone Senior Living - Rhinelander from 6/30/2021 until 1/26/2024. Her monthly residence fee was deducted from her checking account on the 5th of each month.On January 19, I emailed *****************************, Milestone Community Director, that I was moving **** to an assisted living facility in *************, ** so it would be easier for me to get her to doctor ************* ******** responded that there wasn't any additional paperwork I needed to complete. I moved **** to ******************** on Friday, 1/26/2024.On February 5, 2024, Milestone deducted $6624.00 from ****'s checking. I did not notice until February 12, 2024. When I called and talked to ********, she said an electronic refund could only be done within 2 days of the transaction, so a paper check would need to be written. She said it would be at least 30 days before that could happen. I left a phone message for ******** on March 14. I asked when I should expect the $6624. In addition, I asked for 4 days prorated residence fees for the January days the **** was not at Milestone. I also requested that Milestone return the *** medications they received from Heartland Pharmacy on February 5 so ****'s account can be credited ($13.98).Today is March 27 and I have not received repayment, nor any communication.1. Milestone shouldn't have deducted $6624 from ****'s account.2. It shouldn't take 30+ days to write a paper check 3. I miscalculated the prorated fees for ******** It should be 5 days (6624/31 = ****** /day ****** x 5 days = $1068.40) 4. Milestone should return the mail-order medications to Heartland Pharmacy ($13.98) so she received credit.I believe Milestone needs to refund $7692.40 to *************************, ASAP Thank you,*********************** (daughter & POA for *************************

    I spoke to *********************** on 4/9/2024 informing her that she is to be receiving a check in the amount of $8,119.74 as there was another credit on the account. The check was mailed from our corporate office on 4/9/2024 and we are currently waiting for the check to be delivered.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
