A Propos LLC produced a show "Nos Annees Paralleles" in April/May 2023 and used Brown Paper Tickets for ticketing purposes. A total number of 144 tickets were sold through their services and Brown Paper Tickets, after its commission, owes A Propos LLC a total of $3888. This amount was supposed to be paid 10 business days after the show (May 2nd). Despite our multiple requests, we have not yet received any significant answer (only automated answers, one of them mentioning a "case number" of ******), nor been contacted by their staff. Your help to recover this amount would be greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

We are filing a complaint with events.com as they have not payed out for an event we had on May 20, 2023 with our performance company. We sold ~$4500 in tickets through their website brownpapertickets.com, which they acquired in October 2022. There is a lengthy history of BPT not paying for events, yet events.com has continued running the website and not paying customers. I believe they should either pay out the money owed or shut down the website until they can pay their bills.Initial Complaint

I am with a roller derby sports team that has used brown paper tickets for our events for years. We held an event on May 13th, 2023 and have still not received payout. I have emailed support countless times, and there has been no response. My most recent support number is ******. I was told 10 days for payout, but is has been nearly four months now. Brown Paper Tickets owes us $1890 dollars and still isn't responding.Initial Complaint

Our organization, Big Psych, used this ticketing platform to sell tickets to a symposium we hosted last month in ***********, *********. They agreed to payout the ticket sales within 10 business days of the event. The tickets sales totaled over $5300, and they have not paid this out and have not responded to multiple email requests demanding payment. Upon further review of this ticketing platform, they consistently do this and only pay out when threatened with legal action.Initial Complaint

My non-profit choral group - ******************* (in ********, **) - used Brown Paper Tickets to process ticket sales for our concerts. Our final concert, which was June 4, 2023, sold $1000 worth of tickets via Brown Paper Tickets and they have never paid us. Their website says that the "customer service" line has been disconnected and they have never answered multiple emails. We are not a wealthy organization and $1000 is not an insignificant amount of money to us. Please help!!!Initial Complaint

I had used BPT pre-covid, and never had an issue. I heard about all their lack of payment issues during covid, but had since heard that it was again safe to use them. Hearing they had been bought by ****** also gave me some confidence. Their website confidently promises payment within 10 days. My event closed on April 24, 2023 and I have received no money. There is no working telephone line for them, and my repeated emails have been met with a stock reply, but no action.Initial Complaint

Our non-profit *************************** at ************************) set up a fundraising event with BrownPaperTickets.com for a benefit dinner on 4/1/23, which brought in $1860 in ticket sales. The money was paid to BrownPaperTickets (in addition to the ticket fees they charged) but we have not received any of it (despite their business claim to send within 10 business days of the event to send "the full face value of tickets sold through our credit card processor".My first contact with the company (4/25/23) was via their support email to inquire about the outstanding event payment. The response I received informed me that the Financial Settings were not complete and gave instructions on how to make to complete the information for their Direct Deposit. I completed the financial settings per their instructions and followed up to ask if the payment would be sent automatically via ACH or if I needed to do anything to request that payment be processed. I received no response. Case ID #****** I followed up on 5/2/23, received an automatic reply but nothing else. Case ID ****** I emailed again on 8/12/23, received automatic reply but no answer. Case ID ****** Fourth attempt on 8/30/23, only an automated response confirming they received my email. Case ID ****** Last email on 9/5/23, five months after our event, responding to the initial automatic response in April. We've received none of the money BPT collected for our non-profits benefit dinner, no actual responses to any emails, phone support is down. I tried contacting Events.com which had purportedly bought BrownPaperTickets, but they also are not offering phone support.BrownPaperTickets collected money for our event and has not released it. This seems to be an ongoing patterns from other reports I am now reading, at the expense of small non-profits around the country. All we want is the money that our donors paid us through BrownPaperTickets.Thank you for your help!
