      Was kind of hoping the BBB could get me resolution to my problem. I purchased a ***/DVD player from a company called *********** through Amazon for $837.73. I figured I was purchasing a quality piece of electronic equipmenrt. 5 weeks after the purchase the *** started giving me problems ans eventually I couldn't even get it to turn on. I contacted the seller but after one correspondance he just ghosted me. Now the kicker...When I contacted Amazon they gave me a gaurantee in writing that I would get my $837.73 refunded bact to me within a week however a week later Amazon change their story and told me I wasn't getting my money back. When i brought up about the gaurantee(in writing) the person on the phone told me some nonsense about that was just to give me a sense of hope or something like that. I think i was sold junk but wven worse Amazon doesn't seem to want to make good on their Gaurantee which I can provide proof of if needed. **********

      Amazon has the worst customer service I placed an order gave instructions as to where to place order driver didn't follow packages got stolen and its somehow my fault reps are rude they hang up they don't listen can't read and barley speak English our prime membership is going to be cancelled I'm not doing this no more I work to hard for my money for them to be so careless

      I order periodically from Amazon. I use debit cards that I have on file used to pay for my monthly subscriptions. I also have a credit card that is linked to Amazon so that I can get points. Mainly, I use gift cards received for birthdays and "thank you" from work. Since I cannot access my account, the highest invoice I have had at one time was $55-56. August 2nd I attempted to order some items to make centerpieces for my mom's upcoming birthday party. I wished I could combine my $100 gift card along with my debit card on file to place an order, but I was previously told that Amazon does not do split transactions. My plan was to complete back to back transactions. I attempted to use my Amex GC and it was declined. I activated the card on the Amex website and saw that Amazon had already debited a dollar or so from the gift card, I assume to see if the method of payment was legitimate. I tried to purchase my items again and the order was cancelled again. I called CS and this rep had me so rattled I didn't get his name. . He kept me on hold so long, back and forth. He had me try to make the purchase two more times, only to have the items declined again. Then he says that I should use my Amex GC to purchase an Amazon Reloadable GC. I did. Then he says, "purchase your items again". This time my Amazon account was frozen due to "the method of payment". I told him that I was trying to get these items ordered, I needed them asap. He was of no help. When I gave him my number. He repeated it to me. I told him that it was incorrect and I repeated my number. He had the nerve to say, "it's basically the same". He was supposed to have taken my personal info submit to another depart. in order to have the account unlocked; it takes 24 hours. I called today and spoke with *****. This person never turned anything in on my behalf. So I had to submit documentation regarding the gift card. I sent it twice!! So I am not getting the benefit of my $100 GC. NO ONE will help me.

      Purchased a 4K Camera and it was not as advertised. Very cheesy. I returned the item within the return period allowed. Amazon confirmed receipt of the item June 8th 2023. I have requested a full refund. To date, I have not received my refund. Currently, Amazon have both, the product and my money. I am not whole. Initially, I tried to have my refund provided to back to my card, then paper check and now a gift credit. Today on August 3rd, nothing. I encourage everyone to look elsewhere for products as I am for now own.

      Amazon was great until they became a monoply, I now use Amazon for only specific items. I have found that small business has threated me more fairly, certainly less costly and not bombarded with PRIME!Ther pricing is higher ( it used to to be conpetitive) I enjoy going thru small business in comparison than supporting a corporate entity that has no pride just tax loopholes that can justfiy what they are doing for the sake of profit. ****'s Well done !**************

      Amazon delivery system and delivery drivers are terrible. Pay for prime and my orders are lost or not delivered all together. Order after order hasn't gotten any better. I will not shop amazon ever again

      They won't let me leave 0/5 stars, so I have to give it a 1/5. They signed me up for Amazon Prime without my knowledge or consent. Trying to cancel it is an ongoing nightmare. I've wasted so much time and money on this issue considering how infrequently I use their site.I'm not sure when the platformed changed, but it has also gotten harder to make straight forward purchases.
