******** customer service experince over the terrible new Disover debit card. We got transfered so many times because the customer service representatives kept interrupting us trying to explain the problem and transferring us to the wrong department to speak with. When we did get a person, they wouldnt listen to the issue and was a condescending jerk. We asked for a supervisor who kept talking over me when I tried to explain the issue, then transferred me without helping. After being transferred a total of 7 times, I was finally able to speak to someone who was able to confirm my debit card was activated even though the Capital One app was reporting it wasnt. They also confirmed that Apple Pay doesnt support the Discover network. Capital Ones move to a Discover Debit Card was a HORRIBLE choice. Discover is not accepted everywhere, yet Capital One thinks they can submit a form to bully a business into accepting the card. They made our debit card useless.

I will first say, I have book car rentals through Capital One travel portal and never had a problem. This was the first time I realized every other rental was "non" refundable. I've never ran in to that problem before. I quickly called the Capital One Travel side and was told there was nothing they could do. I booked a car rental at 12am and at 1 am they could not help. Make sure to look at the end of the text of each car rental when you do a car search using miles- and look to see if it's "non-refundable". I've never encountered using miles to rent a car and it immediately not be refundable and customer service not wanting to help. I've been a customer of the Venture car since 2007.

I was approved for a credit card and then not given the access to use it after providing my identity they have still refused me access and keep asking for more identity income and proof residents. This company is wores then any bank ever they feel like they don't have to answer to anyone for there misconduct and false promises I am appalled after having a bank account with them for years my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I needed a small credit line to fix a car issue in order to travel and be by her side during surgery so I applied 4 a credit card and was told I was approved so I began making arrangements to go then my card arrived I tried to activate it and was then not given access to a credit line they said and showed me on all my statements I have and after going our of my way to prove my identity and everywhere thing they asked I still can't access the account and it is so wrong the way that I have been provided and lied to I made several reservations that are none refundable on this falls promise of credit si now I am in a far worse predicament then when I began and no closer to my child

I have maintained a long-standing relationship with Capital One bank, consistently making timely payments. After closing two credit card accounts, I continued to make monthly payments on schedule. In September 2025, I made a payment, followed by another payment late in the month for October. The Capital One app provided me with the next earliest payment date, which was September 22, 2025. Subsequently, I received an email regarding my next payment, and a $25.00 late fee was assessed. However, the app's guidance led me to make the payment on that specific date, and I was later informed that I should have waited an additional day for the payment to be credited towards the October 2025 payment. On November 24, 2025, a phone representative stated that a $25.00 credit could not be issued due to the account being closed by me. After escalating the issue to a supervisor, she reiterated the same stance but offered to file a complaint on my behalf. Notably, the Capital One bank credit card app provided the earliest payment date for October 2025.

On my ****** *********** card I received $15 certificate in the mail that said they had up to $75 in ****** cash if I used it to pay my phone bill etc. Said I could use it up to five times and earn up to $75 in rewards through the second week of November. Well I've maxed my car down almost using it to earn the $75. *********** didn't know anything about it and they transferred me to ******. The person on the phone could not speak English well and was very rude and said she knew about it but I could only use it one time. That's misleading because it said I could earn up to $75 and use it five times through November. I am so mad that I am going to pay off my credit card and close my account. I am a good ****** customer and I feel like that was very misleading.

Will not waive predatory late fees and the most unhelpful customer service you can find. Go with ****** ****, or anyone OTHER than CapOne.

This goes for the entire capital one branch anywhere. The process they have in place for making a payment and how long it takes for the payment to post is absolutely ridiculous. It says that itll only take one to two business days but in reality it takes almost a week or a week and a half, which is absolutely absurd. When they take your money out of the account the same day you make the payment. So all of the verifying and double checking that theyre doing, I dont understand when the money has been taken out the exact same day you make the payment. That process is entirely too much and needs to be reviewed. Not to mention if you have already made several payments with the same bank 3, 4 times before so Im not understanding why they need to keep re-verifying and double checking if this is a valid account. Its just very frustrating when you make a payment you expect it to be posted in the day or two that their policy states.

Complaint Against Capital One I am filing this complaint because Capital One has unfairly blocked access to my account and failed to follow best practices for customer notification and resolution.Earlier today, I called Capital One after discovering my account was suspended and there was a notice instructing me to call. I first spoke to a representative who seemed unsure of the issue and asked if I was having trouble logging in. I clarified that my account was fully blocked. After putting me on hold, she returned and began asking verification questions, which I later realized were part of their (KYC) process. When she finished, she said Id have access again in 10 days. That made no sense to me, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor, ******, confirmed my account was under review for *** but couldnt tell me what specific information was missing or why my account was blocked. When I asked when I was notified, she first said to check my email, then admitted there might have been an email sent back in July or October, months ago. I never received any follow-up, in-app message, text, or reminder.Even after completing verification and asking repeatedly for help, ****** said there was no way to expedite the review and Id have to wait 10 days. She offered no escalation path, no case manager, and no clear explanation of what triggered the block This reflects poor communication and unacceptable account management. ******************** failed to notify me properly, failed to explain what was missing, and is now holding my funds for 10 days without due process.I request that Capital One:Expedite the reinstatement of my account access immediately.Provide proof of any communications they claim were *********** their customer notification procedures to prevent this from happening to others.Capital Ones handling of this has caused unnecessary stress and disruption and appears to reflect a systemic issue in how they manage Kyc reviews

Im very disappointed with Capital One. After I finally paid off all three of my accounts at the same time they closed every one of them without warning. They said it was due to inconsistent activity, which makes no sense since I was simply paying off my ************, those closed accounts are going to drop my credit score, and when I asked about reopening them, I was told I could reapply which would cause a hard inquiry and hurt my score even more.If youre trying to build or maintain your credit, be careful. Dont pay all your accounts off at once, or you might end up punished for doing the right thing. Im currently looking for another bank that actually supports customers who are responsible with their **********************.
