      My daughter has been seen by preferred pediatric since 2015. Today, I called to schedule her annual wellness visit and was asked Did you transfer out? A little confused by the question I said , no. However, I did have a copy of her records sent to another doctor ******* but not to stop seeing pediatrician.The receptionist said please hold, once she comes back, she said that it was a transfer and that my daughter be considered a new patient and that theyre not seeing new patients at this time.Shocked, I said okay and hung up, only to call back and ask why?Receptionist asked me to hold again, she said that the paperwork from the other doctors office is for all the records.I said, yes thats correct, but I didnt authorize Preferred pediatrics to cancel my daughter as a patient. I was told once their system sends the records, its considered as a transferred patient. That theres nothing that can be done. The receptionist did ask Do you want to go to someone elses voicemail to discuss this further?I asked her, Why? Theres obviously no point.
