    On 6/28/23 I signed up for pest control services. Since I work from home sometimes I had records out so I asked the salesman if they could spray tomorrow on 6/29/23. He agreed. Nobody ever came back to spray my house. On 7/6/23 I emailed Nomo and they responded by saying they show I had service done on my home on 6/28/23. I explained the deal and I asked for my money back and to void the contract because I don’t do business like this. I have security cameras to prove no service was done in my home. Several emails back and forth and I asked them to freeze any service until we resolved this. They agreed on 8/3/23 to pause my service while we looked into this. On 8/14/23 I had $330 taken out of my account. They also took $43.66 and $40 after I was told my service would just be frozen. I had to close my bank acct to avoid anymore money being taken. I sent several email and no response until 8/30/23 asking me to send them my security footage. I declined to do so due to possibly having to take them to court. My neighbors had a similar problem with them and cancelled but only got charged $200 for cancelling. I know a couple other people who have had issues with this company too and they need to be stopped.

    We are sorry for any confusion. We do have 2 forms of GPS that show we were in front of the customers home during the time the invoice states. We also have video proof showing the service pro getting equipment from his vehicle etc. Our gps tracker has outward and inward facing cameras. It could be a good step to get one facing the homes we service for further proof. We offered free reservices where we would come back free of charge and perform the service again. We want nothing more than the customer to receive the services and allow us to fix anything that frustrated them. We do feel the service was complete, but still are willing to come back.

    After multiple services being performed unsatisfactory, customer service insured they would speak with the technicians to correct the issue. I insisted I be home at the time of the next scheduled service. On the scheduled date, the technician arrived almost two hours before the expected time. Just so happens, I took the day off for this appointment. I met the technician at the door and expressed my concerns for this application. He proceeded to inform me that they changed some of the application process as per the DOA (dept. of Agriculture) and cannot use the spray material in an upward motion do to drippage. Said they use a powder now that acts as an irritant to detour pest from nesting in that area. He also mentioned that they do not have the Mole bait as they are out of stock again. I told the tech to do what he needed to do. The technician did not apply any material as mentioned in the process which is the service we signed up for and have had for years now. Once again, I had to call customer support. After a few calls and emails, I got the return call two weeks later, but it was in regard to my unpaid balance for the last service. I requested to speak to someone and was transferred to the Technician QA in Utah. After expressing all my concerns beyond what's listed above and mentioning I have Ring video of the shotty work, he offered to take off $5 for my next two services and come retreat for the Moles. My service was cancelled at my request, then all he could talk about was the remaining balance. I mentioned being the past 4 treatments the techs have been providing half the service paid for, my final invoice should be that as well. There has been no contact from Nomo Pest other than the multiple emails and text messages about my unpaid invoice to this day.

We would love to make it right and come back like we promised. We always want to be following all laws of the labels we use. There was a change on regulations on the label and we always want to be doing things right. That is important to us.     I am rejecting this response because: The service provided by the business has been done unsatisfactory for months now, they have had multiple opportunities to make it right up until this point. We gave NOMO a chance to perform the service we paid them to provide, and they have not done so except for at the beginning of our agreement. They offered to take $5 off our next two services after I told them how horrible the service has been. That was just insulting to say the least.

We are happy to vome back and give free reservices as long as oayment is up to date. We cant come do free work if we dont have payment. Pest control isnt perfect. Which is why we offer to come back for free.

    A salesman for Nomo came to my door and offered services for an introductory offer price of $129. I said I didn't want to pay that much and the salesman said that there could be a special introductory price of $79, if I didn't like the service, I could cancel. The salesman had me sign on his iPad and said there would be a follow up email to finalize the service. I received two follow up emails. The first one had a contract, and the second one said: " name, please finalize the Nomo Pest Solutions agreement by clicking here." I clicked the link and listened to a an introductory call. At the end of the "courtesy introductory call" from the link I was given an option to "accept terms" and I did not accept the terms. The call was ended, so I assumed that I did not accept the contract. They apparently sent out a technician for the first treatment when we were gone a few days later, and when they contacted me via text to say they had to reschedule the second treatment 2 months later, I called them to tell them that I didn't want the treatment, I never agreed to it. Now they are saying that because I did not call or text them to cancel within three days of the visit, I must pay the $200 cancellation fee. The "customer service" manager I spoke with on the phone said that I signed the contract on their iPad that I would call within three days to cancel. I said that I was under the impression I never agreed to the contract in the first place because I selected "I do not accept" option in response to the email I referenced above "... please finalize by clicking here."

    We have a signed service agreement from this customer. We never received any phone call, email, or text message mentioning the customer wanted to cancel. We performed the initial service and gave our very best work. To cancel, we only ask for the discount on the initial service. This is on the service agreement, and we strive our very best to be completely transparent on our agreements. We did follow the signed agreement and are sorry that the cancellation came nearly 2 months after the initial service happened and was paid for. The buyers right to cancel is only 3 business days.     In May 2023 a representative came to my door asking if I had ants or wasps, which I did. He guaranteed me that this pest control would eliminate them, it did NOT. I had to call them back at least 3 times to repeat the ************ still hasn't taken care of the problem. I called a few weeks ago to cancel & was told it would cost me $100.00 to cancel, which is fine considering I'm paying $43.00 a month with no results BUT I called back today & they informed me that since I had split up the quarterly payments I would have to pay the last 2 months of the quarterly along with the $100.00. That's $186.00 to cancel. This business are scammers who are no different than the phone calls we all get everyday. I've thrown my husbands hard earned money away when coffee grounds would have done more than their services have. After a heated dispute with a ***** today they immediately tagged in on my bank card to grab their $186.00 the bank didn't have enough time to stop it. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Even contacting my states attorney general would do no good considering the attorney general this state has at this point. Nomo stands for no more money in your pocket, it's in theirs.

    the door to door salesman came to my house two times while I was not home, but my wife was. The first time he came, my wife repeatedly told the man no. The man came back a second time and demanded to talk to me the man of the house. The kid practically lied about everything and simply showed me the prices for a first time deal. I signed up with them for a for a $50 first time charge. I asked the kid about cancellation and he told me I can cancel it anytime but failed to mention that if I was to cancel my services that I would have to pay the full balance of $300. I have everything on ring camera I reviewed it and never did. He mention anything about that. after four weeks, I was not happy with their services. After calling to cancel. They informed me that I signed up for a $300 per charge Service and then continue to explain to me that if I wanted to cancel at that time I was going to have to pay $250. Which none of this was explained to me at the door when I signed up.

    Billing my account for services not rendered. This has been going on for months. Try contacting them and keep getting sent to messaging service.

    I just checked our gps records and it shows that we have been to your home and they match the service records perfectly. You are on a quarterly treatment plan which is our standard here in ****. Your wife upon signing up for services requested to split the payment up into a lower monthly charge rather than the full bill each quarter. Please give us a call if you want any documentation or gps records. We have 2 forms of gps, one that is tied with our app, and we have a dash cam/gps on all of our company vehicles.     I was targeted by a salesman from Nomo Pest Solutions at my door step. The salesman stated he had a no pressure awesome deal for me to try out their pest solutions. He claims one dollar down I can try it out and cancel at anytime. I took the service and they came out to spray. The bugs were worse if anything after the spray. I was told that can happen because the bugs are being forced from their homes and all I need is for them to come out and spray again. I took the advice and kept the service a little longer and let them spray my home again. I did some landscaping a week after the second spray and was eat up excessively by bugs. I called again only this time it was to cancel their services. I was told it would be over two hundred dollars to cancel their services because I now have to pay the full price for the first spray or one dollar "deal" the salesman so slyly got me to agree to. I advised that I was told I could cancel at any time. The company didn't care and they pointed out all of the verbiage in their contract about extra cost for canceling their services and it was conveniently in small print and hard to see it existed. I took the salesman at their word that if I was unhappy with the services I can cancel anytime. This was very predatory and I didn't have their services much over a month and this is only because I was strung along. The contract gave me three days to cancel without this penalty and without being aware of this of course I had no opportunity to cancel within a reasonable amount of time after receiving no benefits at all to the services. I am looking to just plan and simply cancel the service without being charged for the first spray that even they will admit doesn't do much.

    We follow all laws according to our service agreements. Our service agreement is the most simple agreement I have seen in the industry. It is literally 1 paragraph. It clearly states the 3 day right to cancel and we always follow that. We put a lot of time, effort, and money into our training and will give our very best work where the customer hopefully feel they are getting their monies worth.     I am rejecting this response because:

    The predatory behavior by the company salesman. I was pressured into getting this service and signing before reading the contract. The company claims (on the contract) the first spray doesn't get results so how would it be fair business practice to give your customers three business days to cancel?  This isn't hearsay because you can find it in their contact were it states "you may see an increase in bug activity because they are being forced out of their home". 

    To summarize; even if you point at the fact I signed your contract, your contract itself is unfair because you do not give your customers the opportunity to see if your service works before pulling the customers right to cancel. 

    All I am asking for is for NOMO to cancel my service without charging me for something I didn't get a benefit from. If they are unable to do so I will file a lawsuit. I am more than prepared to go the distance. I have consulted my attorney and I feel well if I have to take this to the next step.

    In your response you mention that it is predatory behavior because you decided not to read the agreement. 

     

    It is a simple agreement for 13 months of pest control. We are happy to give our best, and we do deserve to be paid the fair amount we charge. We could randomly call 100 pest control companies and our price will be on par sometimes less with them. We do offer more services at a fair price than others which makes us a great value. It isnt our job to make sure customers read the agreement, however we also do a recorded welcome call to ensure they undersrtand.  It is out job to provide services we promise. Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because:

        I understand your position on price however, none of the other pest companies spray a property three times with absolutely nothing to show for it. We can't let anyone around the outside perimeter of our house (where you sprayed) because the bugs will practically eat you alive to this day. Nothing ever changed after any of the times you have been out. If the service even remotely helped I would not be wasting time and energy on the BBB website to dispute this. A reputable company stands behind their work and you have only stood by your price and your contract to insure you get paid. That is not a company anyone wants to do business with. All I was asking for is to cut ties with you being I received no value. If you cannot give me that I am sure the attorney genral of Iowa would be interested in hearing about this. Please do not make me take it this far.

    This company peddles a natural solution to pests. We ended up with more bugs than before they started coming. They were told to close the account and not come back, yet 6 months later they are still charging us. Every call to them brings a different story and excuses. We have security video of their employee looking through private boxes on the porch on a service, which was sent to them with no response. After threat of a lawsuit, they say they have closed the account, but not after pulling one more charge out of our account without authorization!

    One again they are making excuses for their poor service and dishonesty. This company has multiple complaints of the *** nature. They have shady employees and sell a product that absolutely DOES NOT WORK! They overcharged us hundreds of dollars after they were told their services were no longer welcome on our property.

    Breach of contract .. supposed to have full yard treatment they cant use granules if they fog if they fog they cant use granules , the pharamones they brush on with a pole brush didnt do anything, still have wasps , flying insects , ************* 20 ft from house cancels anything they put down because its water soluble..

    We are properly licensed through all states we service in and each service pro is properly trained and licensed through their department of agriculture. As far as the individual city, many cities require you to have your up to date insurance which we do and have all the proper state and department of agriculture license. We can check in with your city to see what they require as it isn't a typical brick and mortar store with an actual physical location. Many times services that are hired are different, but we will check in. Thanks for checking in with this. 

    We are so sorry you still are dealing with some wasps. Wasps can be difficult. Pest Control isn't going to be perfect, but we will do our very best work and will come back if there are ever problems. We also give free return visits if there are problems between service. We are absolutely willing to do granules and fogging, however we need to wait at least 10 days after treatment to apply a different product. We will always follow the law and the label (the label is the law) with products. We take pride in doing services correctly and ethically.

    NOMO pest solutions is a SCAMMER company. They promise to provide pest treatment. What they actually do is scam hardworking people out of money. They convince people to sign a 6 month contract... once you sign... you can't cancel without paying a $140.00 fee. They have no reason to provide ANY customer service. We still had spiders in our back yard. They didn't come on time... and or they came when we asked them not to. All this company is a RIP OFF to get people to sign the contract. Once signed.. they just steal your money. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS.

    Can you give us a quick call about your account? If there are continued pests, we offer free reservices between regular visits. There has yet be a problem we haven't been able to fix when people contact us. We will come back as many times as necessary to fix a problem. 

    We also can go over your service agreement when you can. The agreement is simple only 1 paragraph explaining it is a 12 month agreement, and to receive the initial discount you need to agree to 12 months of services on a quarterly basis. If the services aren't completed we only ask for the discount back. This was explained through our rep and signed service agreement. Thank you!
