    I was forced into working with Big Bear Flooring because they were part of the negotiation with the seller of my house. DECEPTIVE PRACTICES -I did not receive any estimates before I had to make decisions and work had already started -They would not communicate with me beforehand stating I wasnt their client until after my floors were demoed when they demanded I pay $5000 in order for the work to continue and when I asked why it wasnt covered by the seller they said it wasnt included on that estimate, an estimate that I was never given before this discussion -They eventually sent me estimates that were all under the same estimate number and backdated which contained different information that they changed every time I asked for clarification -They intentionally omitted the cost of leveling my floors that they knew would need some amount of leveling. They said they put the words on their original estimate (which again they did not give to me before starting demolition) with a $0 amount and it was moral and ethical to do so in order to have a lower estimate so that they would be the winning bid. This was stated directly to me over the phone by a partner with the business BAD COMMUNICATION -Asked for estimates multiple times -Their work did not start until I was the owner and they never reached out to me to set anything up. I had to ask them when they would start, what time, when it would be completed, and how the were going to get access to my place -They lied about the amount of progress that had been made and when I checked in person it was nowhere near what they said -Multiple non-communications on their part with their hired workers delaying progress and my ability to move in The craftsmanship is great, however I cannot work again with a company with such bad communication and deceptive practices and will not recommend them to anyone. They also walked away with my broom, and while they sent me a picture of it they never returned it.
