    Woodlands specialty hospital charged me ******** over three payments for three separate outpatient procedures I had during the summer of 2023. Woodlands Specialty Hospital was out of my insurance network at the time of the procedures, but their policy is to charge patients as if they were in network. My EOBs from my insurance shows I owe $0.00 for the three procedures as I had met my deductible and out of pocket for out of network providers. Woodlands has repeated refused to return phone calls, I also provided the ***** 3 times I was actually able to talk to Chelse the manager and each time received a different story without a resolution. First time I was told I was charge a percentage of previous unpaid balance on my account. I requested a billing to know what I owed if that was true. I never received the bill. The 2nd time I managed to talk to Chelse she asked me if I had actually made payments. As if she could not look at my account. But she did say she would review it. After several weeks I started to again leave message. When I finally did get a hold of her at the beginning of December I was very firm I wanted a refund. This time I was told she would send it to accounting to review and if I was owed a refund it would have to be approved by the CEO. It should have been resolved by December 14th, 2023. I wait the two weeks she said it could take and left several messages. I still have not heard from Chelse with a an explanation as to where my refund is, what money I owed at the time they took my money, or any detailed bill that justifies the over billing.The people who work in the out patient surgery area are excellent and I do not want to file this complaint but I have been given no other choice.
