Total Cost: $25,717.00. **************** only completed the framing work on this contracted job which was agreed amount of $1,000.00. The total number of payments giving to ***************************** was (4) payments1st payment on 07/02/2021, Check # ****, for $10,608.50, 2nd on 09/09/2021, Check # ****, for $5,304.25, 3rd on 09/24/2021, Check # **** for $2,546.50, 4th payment on 10/08/2021, Check **** for $4,500.00. Totaling: ($22,959.25). Minus $1,000.00 for the framing work completed on this job amount owed and due back to me is: ($21,959.25). **************** sent me a text on November 23, 2021, stating he was going through a divorce and it was taking all his money and including the monies he received from me for material and the stucco work I paid which was 90% of the contracted cost on this job. Also, he stated verbally over the phone his wife had taking money out of his account for the reasoning or excuse for him not have enough money to continue or finish the job I contracted him for. I didnt seek counsel or report this to the law enforcement initially because **************** and I had a verbal conversation with him saying, if I was willing to help him out and that he would still be able to complete this job if I gave him some time until February, no later than March 2021. Although, this was very upsetting to me and I didnt have a lot of options since he had most of the funds for this Job from me, I was willing to wait and agreed to give **************** an opportunity to finish the job and to make his (WRONG)- by using my monies for his personal use...WHICH IS MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS /STEALING. (RIGHT)- By finishing the job or at this point return the monies giving to him for the material and work not completed.
