I have owned a precious metals and mineral fund with Victory Funds for many years. It had a market value of $ 3, ****** as of March 31, 2025. I get a quarterly statement every 3 months which I file. I do not need the money and planned to give it to my ******************* my quarterly statement said the balance was ZERO!I immediately called Victory funds and they said , " I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING THEY 'NEEDED TO HEAR FROM ME' OR THE FUNDS WOULD BE SENT TO THE STATE" Well I never received such a letter. The lady on the phone said "Well you should have". She called it ESCHEATMENT. I said the middle of that word is CHEAT and she laughed while I was absolutely furious.I asked why I was never called or sent an email or a certified letter. She had a boiler plate response "contact the state of Florida"So I went on the Florida unclaimed funds website... THERE ARE NO UNCLAIMED FUNDS IN ******* UNDER MY NAME!!! [ ******* ******]This sounds like a scam and I am looking to you for some help.******* ***** ****** ************ ************************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The response did not address my complaint.Victory did not do its required due diligence in an attempt to contact me.
The claimed they sent me a single letter but have no proof of that.
There were no electronic attempts to contact me. There were no telephone attempts to contact me.
They did not send a second letter
I have consulted with a financial advisor who indicated Victory likely dumped the account because it was deemed an expense to continue to carry it.
in any case, they did not utilize proper due diligence to contact me.

I am rejecting this response because: Victory has provided absolutely NO PROOF that a letter was SENT to me. All Victory has demonstrated is they created something, not that they sent me anything.Victory has also not provided any evidence of due diligence on their part to contact me.
Any fact finder would conclude the same.

They froze my daughter's 529 account for no reason, so we could not withdraw funds. They have given no explanation. Even their clueless **** on the phone (for hours) could not explain. Their **************** apparently flagged our transaction and they tried to claw back the tuition money!! The ************** is an apt moniker for these fraudsters. Victory Capital is NOT good.Business Response

I ********** had money invested with ****, which was transferred to Victory Capital (VC) when **** stopped being the administrator for the retirement accounts. I have been trying to transfer funds invested with VC to a rollover *** and keep getting different information each time I call. This process has taken far too long, and I still have not received the funds. My VC account finally shows $0, but my new administrator hasn't received the money. When I called VC, they said the wires were sent and to call the new admin. I called the new admin and was told to contact VC and get the FED wire #s, which VC was unable to provide at that time. VC then informed me that the wires were rejected and I needed to wait until the funds hit my account again to request another transfer but were unable to provide a timeline for when that would happen. When I called VC back to ask if they could provide me with the reason for the wire rejection, I was told that was not possible but checks were written on May 8th and sent overnight to my new account. I was told to contact VC if I did not see the funds in my account by May 13th. I called back and VC confirmed the checks were sent and to call back on May 15th if the funds still did not appear. I called again on May 15th, and VC told me that the checks were never cut and were still "processing" but that checks should be cut and mailed by the end of the day or tomorrow. It makes me very uncomfortable that they do not know where my money is, where they are sending it, and are seemingly unable to follow simple instructions to transfer my money. I have lost all faith in this company and keep getting a different story every time I call. I need this money to be transferred into my new account ****. Can a manager from ** please contact me and provide me with check numbers and tracking numbers so I can ensure that this money, in fact, is accounted for and when I can expect it?Business Response

I have been with this company for 25 years and they send me regular statements to my address and I have never had a problem. I went to transfer the shares to my fidelity account and I saw that there was an issue with my account so I contacted them and coincidently they liquidated the funds on the same day and transferred the money to Florida unclaimed property. They alleged that they tried to contact me to keep my account active but I never received the letter and I have never missed a letter in the past 25 years Ive been with them. They only made one attempt to contact me before liquidating the funds. According to Florida unclaimed property it can take 3 to 6 months to be processed to where it is available for me to make a claim so I would not be earning interest during that time. Florida unclaimed property also told me that victory funds would be able to reimburse me and then way down the money to be processed.Business Response

Victory Capital will not allow me to access funds in my account under my name. I have called every day for weeks spending hours on hold. Each person I talk to says they will unfreeze my account but this does not happen. Apparently it is frozen due to a one letter typo in my street name that appears in one place on my online profile but not any other. It is difficult for me to spend an hour on the phone before going to work as I live on the ********** and have to call during East Coast times. I want Victory Capital to immediately unfreeze my account and allow me to access the funds that belong to my son and I. It shouldn't take this long, I have read about similar issues from other Victory customers and am concerned they will keep stalling.Business Response

I logged onto my Victory Capital Investments account at approx. 1030 am on 06 June 2024 in an attempt to withdraw a portion of my investment shares/funds from the brokerage. I tried to sell approximately $3,500 worth of my total $13,835.76 balance at VC. The system gave me an error when I submitted the request online. The error message page instructed me to call Victory Capital to request my funds withdrawal over the phone at **************.I called the customer support center at approx. *******. A gentleman named ************** informed me that Victory Capital had a block on my account because they needed to update my mailing address. Please note that my mailing address has been the same since 2021, when I came back from my overseas (active duty military) tour in ******. I then told ************** my current address again. ************* informed me that it might take 24 hours for the change to go into the system. At 12:37pm today (03 June 2024) I received an Email from Victory Capital stating that my address was updated on my account. I then logged onto my online Victory Capital account and noted that my address was updated but that there was now an extra "Suite 100" in the address. So, I knew that someone at Victory Capital just did an update to my address. I then clicked on my shares available and the system stated that I (no longer) had any investment shares at Victory Capital and that I need to 'fund' the account. At that moment I knew that something was wrong. Victory Capital literally updated my account with the same address that I've had on there since 2021, but they added and additional "suite 100" to my address. The system is now saying that I have no money with Victory Capital, when I couldn't & have not withdrawn anything today or ever. I gave the customer support center another call at ******. Attendant stated that the approval of my address is with management, which was sketchy stalling. I want my money and to close my account with ********************** today.Business Response
