Yesterday, Monday, March 17, 2025, I $1,2***** from my Savings as a principal payment to be applied to my Fixed Auto Loan with an outstanding balance of $9,2*****. This should have left a remaining of $8,000. However, when I confirmed my balance this morning, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, it reflected a balance of $1,2*****. I investigated further and learned that my payment was split in two as follows: $562.85 with a late fee of $26.79 and a second payment of $686.85. There should be no late fee as my account is auto debited monthly and there were ample funds for the monthly payment and there should be an remaining outstanding balance on the loan of $8,000.00. Therefore, the disputed amount is ***** and that should be reimbursed to my principal as *********** addition, on my lunch break today I spent over 30 minutes on hold, transfers and dropped calls with Broadway Bank which is why I'm resorting to the BBB and ask that someone contact me after 1600 CST to confirm that the matter has been resolved.
