      I had service on May ******* at the location ********* was mainly for an oil leak from the lower intake manifold gasket but the upper gasket was also replaced al,valve cover gasket, thermostat,coolant ,hoses and oil change.Prior to that moment before going there,I had no issues with my car,just a oil leak.After the services,I pay and leave and noticed my car taking a long time to go into the next gear,delayed shifting.I go right back and left for them to look into.Later their only guess was a loose vacuum hose and ignition wire Both were corrected but the shifting problem was still present.I change my transmission fluid sooner than the usual recommendation,always,since the day I bought the car in 2018.Never had problems with it,but it was immediate after leaving the shop after their services.******* Hernandez Jr,the owners son,suggested a bad sensor.Well,it is mighty coincidental that this occurred right after their services.Someone messed up my car and won't own up to ***** is the owners responsibility in this matter.I did put the fluid that I had taken out about a week prior,after replacing with new fluid&filter,in a clean white bucket.There was NO notable amount of metal particles present,which would indicate wear.

      I took my vehicle to hernandez tire and automotive located on *************************************************************** my engine sounded a little rough when driving it,so I took it to this mechanic shop and the first person I talked to was a guy named ***************** the son of the owner he told me to pop the hood of my vehicle so he could see what's going on and when he was looking he informed me that the catalytic converter and exhaust manifold on the right side needed replacing but then he also said that's not all he said there was a whole laundry list of other things needing to be fixed to go along with it which I have a copy of so at this point I'm bewildered and a little annoyed but he tells me it can be repaired and at this point I just want to get it done asap so we go into the office to get an estimate and it comes out to $3112.00 so I'm in shock I tell him I don't have that right now so ******* tells me I should get a title loan and at this point I'm a little hesitant but I seriously need vehicle up and running so I get the loan money and it takes these mechanics about a week to get everything done plus they had found a leak in my break line behind my front rightside wheel so that was another$350,00 and after all that, I go to pickup my suv and their mechanic drives it up shuts it off I pay the bill get my keys I tried to start it up it wouldn't start, I'm like what the h*** I flag the the mechanic down because he couldn't speak English then I pop the hood he didn't tighten my battery poles so he tightens them my vehicle starts and then I leave, the very next day the engine dies as I'm driving home from work they didn't put any coolant in my radiator its bone dry and smoking I brought it back to hernandez because I was told by them I have a warranty but before I did I got a second opinion from another mechanic at sun auto on ******************* a he said it was negligence on their part he wrote down the problems and I have a copy of it.

      After I left this business for the fourth or fifth time my vehicle only ran for one day again, this time it was a problem with the brakes which they said they fixed but and I paid them three hundred fifty to repair it, but apparently that was more money wasted with these so called mechanic's after they almost blew up my engine by not putting any coolant in my radiator the first time, and blowing up my engine heads , I brought the vehicle back to them because I was told by them I had a warranty, thinking I was going to get a free repair job because of there negligence, they told me to repair the heads I needed to pay them around  six hundred thirty dollars but they reduced it down to six hundred, mind you I had already got a second opinion from a real mechanic shop Sun Auto explaining to me how hernandez  screwed up my engine then when I told hernandez I got a second opinion then they tell me, come on now you know another mechanic shop is always gonna hate on them and this that and a third, then begged me to give them another chance to repair my vehicle and charged me for it on top of that, just unbelievable, these guy's,so like I was saying before the last time I picked up my vehicle from them for the third or forth time it only drove for one day after that,because the brakes started malfuctioning to the point where the vehicle would shut off on its own while driving because of the abs system, so I took it to a ****** specialist for a diagnostic and they found so many problems with the vehicle that the total repair would be between three thousand to four thousand dollars and that's was the price I paid hernandez to fix all my problems in the first place so now the vehicle is going to be sold for scrape because, so yes I believe I deserve some kind of compensation from them for all the problems they've caused, and I'm not even counting all the uber's I had to use because they had my vehicle for like a month yes all of this add's up this is a business I would tell anyone steer clear of at all cost's you will get your vehicle ruined this experience has been painful and costly so yeah that's all I have to say and as far as for them trying to contact me that's a bunch of BS because I have there business number in my phone and I would have seen it on my caller I.D and I have voice mail and they didnt leave me any msg's so I don't know what the h*** there talking about, I do believe I should get all or half of my money refunded and that's a total of three thousand six hundred dollar's, I believe that beyond a shadow of a doubt but what do I know right I'm not a mechanic these guy's are bad for business, and I almost for got when they broke the back window on my SUV now it won't go up or down the let dust leaves from tree's and god know what esle when they broke the back window and left it down I don't know how many night's they had it like that but I had to clean that c*** not to mention the oil stains on my seat's and floor boards it's a wonder i'll even get anything for it , anyway thank you for you time, and have good day.

      Hello my name is ******* Hernandez, the owner of Hernandez Tire And Automotive

      I am responding in regards to ******************* complaint. Customer came in for a complaint that the exhaust manifold was making noise/ exhaust leaking. so then I inspected the vehicle and noticed the right front exhaust manifold gasket was in very bad rusted condition so I then explained to the customer that he has an option and to make it as affordable for him as possible. The option was removing the manifold and replacing the gasket considering also the possibilities of the manifold bolts breaking in the cylinder head which the customer agreed. When removing the manifold the mechanic noticed all of the bolts were snapping and were well over rusted out and the manifold was rusted into the cylinder head stuck. After the mechanic explained to me the situation I then called the customer to come to the shop to discuss this before further action. When the customer arrived I explained to him that if he wants to continue forward with repairing the vehicle and in order to do so the mechanic would have to replace the complete catalytic converter/manifold assembly as well as the cylinder head on the right side to be washed and resurfaced as well as pressure tested at the machine shop and of course needing the parts that go along with a cylinder head job, as well as drilling out each individual bolt that was broken in the cylinder head. Which the customer agreed to the repairs and I do want to keep in mind that the customer was aware that the rear window did not go up or down before the vehicle being serviced at the shop and came in with tape holding up the window as well as the vehicle being very damaged by rust all through out the vehicle . After the repairs were made the mechanic was going to take the vehicle on a test drive and noticed the right front brake line was leaking and so he then recommended the brake line that goes to the caliper parts and labor which was approved as well by the customer. After those repairs were made the mechanic test drove the vehicle without problems. Customer came in a few days later with the vehicle over heated and while inspecting the vehicle the mechanic noticed the lower radiator hose was in a very bad condition and gave out which caused the water to completely exit the system almost immediately. Thus explaining why there was no coolant in the vehicle so we then explained to the customer that the vehicle's head gaskets were damaged not by the work on the right side cylinder head but the lower radiator hose giving out. So I gave him the option of repairing the right side and left side head gaskets parts and labor included as well as machine shop charges for only $600 considering the reason that was at fault was the lower radiator hose that was in very bad condition. I also explained to him that I was doing my absolute best to help him as much as I could with losing on parts and labor for having to do double the work and more. To which the customer agreed and we were on good terms after that.

      I went to Hernandez tire and muffler to have my right side passenger tire repaired. The first thing I asked them to do was in alignment, install 2 new tires to the front of the car and to install shocks and struts I had bought. After I had been hearing a lot of ticking and a rough knocking as if the passengers side tire was going to go another direction and pop off of the car when on my way to work and back at the very next day. I called and told him and he said it needed to be tightened so I went in about 3 days later, he told me then that my right arm bearing was no good and needed to be replaced. He told me that he found the part and it would only take 2 hours which ended up taking about five in all. I needed to return again about and they tightened it and it sounded a bit better but the sound was not gone which I'm sure it should have been. After about 4 days the knocking came back so we took it back and he said it was because I needed new tires and that my shocks that they had put on where incomplete which he never mentioned before and now he said with making the knocking sound. I went to get new tires but after about five times of talking to them I am no longer wishing to allow them to touch my vehicle. I truly wish only to have whatever expenses return to me as far as the work that was not complete. I truly feel as if I was given a run around only to continuously charge me and give me reasons for the sounds and knocking which were different almost every time. The general conversation and attitude from the main mechanic did not feel genuine and just as if he was ready to charge me again for the next thing because I didn't know anything about mechanic work. The right arm bearing that was supposed to be repaired is still very creeky when I make right turns, makes a screeching sound and is not smooth when I go over bumps and hit potholes compared to the other tires.
