On 2/21/25, I ordered a Verifone e285p M087-500-01-*** from this company. The machine was delivered on 3/3/25. I immediately noticed that it was a refurbished machine, though I don't recall any indication when I was ordering that it would be refurbished. However, I didn't have an issue with that until we plugged it in to use it. It had not been restored to factory settings and thus was unusable as we couldn't proceed with the setup without a supervisor password. I immediately reached out to the company via chat. They let me know that they would reach out to the manufacturer and let me know what my next steps were within 24 hours. I never heard back. I reached out again via chat and they told me the same thing. No answer. I then emailed and said that I would just like to return the machine and receive a refund instead of trying to get a new machine through them - I was frustrated with their customer service and didn't trust that they'd send me a working machine. On 3/7/25 they indicated that my email request had been received. I followed up on 3/11 after hearing nothing and indicated that I didn't want to miss the return window. Since that time I have emailed, chatted, and called several times. Every time the answer is the same - "I'll look into that and get back to you by tomorrow" and then I never hear back.Customer Answer

Sent to their site on 1/23/24 after a very rude phone call with sales. History - I ordered 15 of your card readers, 10 shipped and were installed no problems, the remaining 5 shipped later from being on backorder. These 5 did not work, they are a different model year, not sure if that is the issue or not. I have called almost every day if not every other day. In January I found an old deleted email and started emailing almost daily. On 12/20/23 I spoke with a rep from your company (Ecom or something like that). They indicated that someone from customer support would call back, they never did. Today, I finally got through, only to be told that there is a 30-day return policy and tuff luck on the return. I tried to explain that I have been using the online BOT, emails and phone calls. The person continually tried to talk over my conversation and finally told me that "I got a great deal on them anyways", really, 5 don't work, so I guess that is a really great deal. Seriously? ******* Payments attempted to purchase credit card EMV device from **********************. On April 4, 2023 my company summited a wire for payment for (150) Verifone M400 EMV devices. At that time, Card Machine Outlet claimed they had these devices in stock. It is now September 15, 2023 and they still owe us (100) EMV devices or $67,900.00. On March 15, 2023, my company placed an order with this company. It was a fairly large order for credit card processing machines (300 units) which totaled $50,000.00. After some issue with "locking up" the inventory, my company was able to remit the payment for the order (PO#*****). My company was assured that the ordered units will be delivered in about 2 to 3 weeks, however, for the next 4 months, all we heard from this company was one excuse after another why the shipment of units was delayed. Estimated time of arrival was continually pushed back, and by middle of July, the company could no longer wait for the vendor to deliver the ordered units. My company made a formal request for refund with *****************************, she promised to work on the refund. The promised refund never showed up. On July 27, ***** in the **************** stated that she did not see any refund being processed but promised to get the issue to the right person. We called on August 1st, but received no satisfactory answer. We were told on August 4th that refund was finally being processed by the right person, but the company would not disclose the name of the person, and moreover no refund was received. On August 8th, ***** from the **************** claimed that she will have the right person to contact my company, but there was no follow up. We called again today (August 15th), and once again did not receive any definitive answer about the promised refund. We are very unhappy with this company and its failures. Im not about leaving bad reviews, this company will not contact me back. 4 out of 7 machines are not batching, its been months and no call back not any updates on my case. ************************* is the most un professional and rude person Ive ever talk to. I try not to call every day when I call shes always on another line and never never calls back, now She refuses to ************* and threaten to block me. My company is owed over 400k in credit card transactions and I cant find any solution to this. The only person thats giving some kind of hope and actually has text me back is **** , but now its been almost a month and all I here is crickets. I try to contact anyone in management and apparently there isnt anyone. Im already in process to proceed with legal action, I will hate anyone to go through this. Maybe just maybe someone actually reads this and contacts me so we can get our deposit on the money thats owed to us.Business Response

Our company Card Machine Outlet is not the cause of the issue, this account is under Lite Pay which is an independent sales agent for CardConnect. I referred the customer to CardConnect where I see communication between the two, from what I see the issue has been resolved and no further action can be taken. If the customer is needing more assistance he/she would need to follow up with CardConnect.

This complaint is based upon order #***** Our company ordered a card reader: Ingenico RP457C-02P8805A ****************************** Card Reader - Bluetooth Upon arrival, we learned the machine was ordered in error. We were instructed to return the device. The device was returned 30 days ago and confirmed by the company to have received it. For the last several weeks the company has assured us that we would be receiving a refund for this order, however, we have not received it. While on the phone with customer service they communicate that they will pass along our refund request to the finance department but nothing remains done. As a customer, we have done everything instructed on our end to receive a refund. We sent the product back, confirmed that it made it, and talked to customer service on several occasions.Needless to say, we will never do business with this company again and we will not recommend them to any of our business relationships. After 30 days of successfully returning our unit, we have not received any refund credit back on our card. So now this company is in possession of our returned product and has not issued our refund.Business Response

After waiting over 30 days for the company to refund the purchase after receiving their returned product, they did not return the cost of shipping only for the unit itself. After multiple phone calls and talking to different customer service reps over several weeks after our item was successfully returned, it taking this long and not getting a full refund is unacceptable.Business Response

Good evening I am writing about a situation that occured with this company I purchased a card machine in July/august to which ending up not working for the purpose i needed it. I returned the product on September 1st and was received a couple days later and was signed for by a employee misty at the front desk. She responding by stating I would receive my refund that never came. I waited weeks and received nothing. To the point where I had to do a chargeback to which the company lied that they didn't receive the product when I have proof that they did. So in the end they got to keep the money and have the machine to resell.
