This is a scam! How can BBB give it a good rating! I will never trust the BBB ratings again!

They send scam letters in the mail with words like "Second notice", "Final notice", to scare people into opening the letters to buy their product. Shameful.

I called to let them know my water heater on 3/16/24 and stated was not on file and that they dont work on Sundays but booklet states 24 hours ; I called to file a claim and was attempting to get the information that she needed a s was very impatient. This is very frustrating as my hot water is not working . I will be calling my rep the next day and will alert my bank not to release any more money to this company now I have to find means to get it fixed after being with them since 2022. I am also writing a letter about this company to BBB and have an investigation done on them IMMEDIATELY. Thy are unprofessional and 24 hour number. I cant really say its a scam but they do give you the run around and not seems to service you and help get what is needed for your item fixed within contract. This customer service is so poor Im not even giving a rating

We don't have this insurer, and I received a letter. Headed potential lapse of coverage. Policy may expire.......... SOON . I obviously recognized that this probably wasn't legit. And then I found them on the BBB With a 1 star rating! They are listed on my phone as a legit co. I see others have been scammed by this, or almost scammed! Where is our government? We have scams all over the internet, and now sending scams like this to our homes?

They are a preditor to the senior population. We were scammed by a series of letters sent to our home address. They used our mortgage company and implied that we were possibly lapse with our home warranty coverage. I signed up for the Warranty and after my mortgage company did make me aware that this warranty policy was never needed to supplement my house insurance policy. I attempted to cancel the existing American Home Protect, LLC policy, ************* representatives claimed the phone number i was calling from did not match their records and declared they would not cancel the policy and the monthly charge of $276 per month. Mepco, their financial service company rebilled my credit card after chase did credit my **** and submitted it to their fraud department, but Mepco reinstated the charges for AMerican Home Protect LLC. I now most likely will completely have to cancel the CC in order to stop them from charging me. It will impact my credit rating but I must do something to prevent this which must be happening to thousands of Seniors who fall prey to persistent Legal scam companies this this one.

My 93 year old mother was targeted by this company by somehow knowing she used American Home Shield. Their slick salesperson convinced here to send money to them for another three year subscription. After she told me about this I told here it was a scam and to call them back for a refund. We are waiting for the money.This company uses a rather blatant tactic in creating a company name that sounds like American Home Shield, then calling members to extract money from them, especially seniors. This sounds like a well-thought out scam that appears to not have violated any laws, so they know they won't get caught.I don't know how they got our address as they way it was written was only used for American Home Shield. I called American Home Shield and they said they have no affiliation. I suspect perhaps they got it from one of the vendors that came to her house.

This company has been sending me letters regarding a non-existent home warranty claiming that it is about to expire. They are using extremely predatory methods to attempt to scam first time home buyers who don't know better into paying for an unnecessary service by presenting it as being a current service that is about to cease to be active.

DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT GIVES OUT FALSE INFORMATION. THEY TELL YOU TO GET A TECHNICIAN AND GET REIMBURSED AND THEN TELL YOU THE SERVICES THE TECHNICIAN PERFORMED WEREN'T COVERED WHEN IT IS WRITTEN COVERED IN THEIR WARRANTY BOOK. YOU ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR AND THEN THEY CAN'T GIVE YOU A NAME BUT TELL YOU ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK. ********* THING I DIDN'T HOLD MY BREATHE WAITING FOR ONE TO RETURN MY CALL!! I'M ALERTING EVERYONE I CAN TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE A RATING OF 2 OR MORE. IT'S FALSE!

Was told my account was not on file after them taking $198 from me every month since May of 2022.

I've been receiving letters from this company about a home warranty expiring. They are addressed to my senior mother. I called them and asked to stop sending these to her because she is not associated with the address and never has been. They use scare and pressure tactics indicating coverage is lapsed and overdue - and the property is not a customer of theirs. When I didn't provide my information to them they became very unprofessional and rude until they finally hung up on me. They refused to remove her from their database. This type of interaction is certainly no way to attract customers, their professionalism is horrible. BEWARE of this company.
