      On May the 28th the progressive movers arrived about 7:30 a.m. they commenced to loading the truck and packing my things. Apparently when I was not looking they were just throwing things into the box no packing material glass on glass and many things that were in mint condition were chipped. What's the most important thing was my insulin I had at least 8 months of insulin that I was moving that was packed in coolers next to a chair that was not to be taken. They packed my insulin and then had no idea where it was. I heard movers because I am disabled and I was assaulted and my back was broken in two places. It took the drivers seven hours to make a 3-hour drive which left me sitting at the storage unit for 4 hours. When they got there I told him they had my insulin in a box please find it. They weren't looking they were just worried about getting locked in the storage unit because it closed at 9:00 p.m. I have slowly gone through my storage unit a little at a time due to my broken back doing things that I should not do. They did not stack anything I had shelving units that they could have stacked things on they took up every square inch of a 10x25 unit. Leaving it for me to figure out. Multiple showing units empty. I just now found my insulin. I am insulin dependent it's at least $1,000 worth of insulin if not more. Just ruined

      I have emailed several times about the app not working and have gotten no response. At this point I would like a complete refund, and I will be posting a review of how this was or in this case, not handled.This started out as a good move. They were understanding about weakened immune systems and that we were going to bring things out to be put in the truck. When it was pointed out that we had move stuff than would fit in one large truck, which I found hard to believe because we weren't moving most traditional large items. But when they said it wouldn't all fit I ordered another truck through them ( at $1800 a truck). Incidentally they couldn't get everything in that truck either. My house was 1200sq feet.... and it required 2 large moving trucks, and still there were things left behind ? After all that, the second truck arrived at my new house before we did and unloaded and stacked everything nicely. They took pictures and everything looked great. However when the original truck arrived it was like they went out of their way to destroy me and my children's things. Multiple bottles of nice perfume shattered and left a trail from the driveway to the back of the house, which it especially interesting given they were in a sealed box. 2 tv, a daybed, printer, 2 desks, multiple makeup items ,.shelves, a devastating amount of crystals that were one of a kind, and so much more.I repeatedly tried contacting them, at first a the guy wanted to argue with me, about how it wasn't thier fault and they weren't responsible for my belonging once they were in their care to move. Then there were many.more texts and calls that accomplished nothing. The last text I received said it would be given to their cls department and I would be contacted shortly. They don't have a claims department. That was Dec 7th. I moved November 17th. They destroyed thousands of dollars worth of items, and several items that are irreplaceable. So beware.

      I hired these movers because they were accredited with the BBB. There were some red flags but I ignored them. I hired for 2 movers to come and 3 showed up. The boss ( *******************************) of the other two said not to tell company or they may charge me. First of all I would not have paid as I did not hire 3. He said the third guy he just pays sometimes to help him out and he didnt work for company. Once everything was packed an in their truck I drive to new apartment and the men took a long time to arrive after me claiming construction but now I believe they probably went through my belongings. I did not notice the suitcase missing which also has other items inside of it packed . I had to go out of town on emergency and noticed it missing when having to pack. I live alone and no one has been Im my place so it must have been taken during my move by movers. I dont own a lot of fancy items but this was a luxury purchase so Im sure when they saw the brand name Tumi they thought it worth taking. I had so much goi g on during the move that I just didnt realize it gone. My dog had passed and I was moving because I got held up at gun point at old location, so to have item stolen from a living company I thought I could trust really is upsetting and emotional. They need to be taken off of the BBB for being good and instead for being non trustworthy. I spoke to ********************** and he said they arent that type of company to steal and he doesnt think one of his workers would steal and he may believe that, but someone did take it. He said he would look at their warehouse but he doesnt think anything is their. I guess next time I have to watch movers the entire time and when they drive to new location I will have to follow in behind them the entire way. It is getting so ridiculous what an honest person has to do to not be taken advantage of. I paid 220 and tip 60 because I had no clue of the theft. Also my couch and tv stand was a scratched but I didnt wrap it. I thought they would so my fault for not wrapping furniture.

      I am rejecting this response because:   As a single person living alone I KNOW what I have and dont have! Of course you will not admit that anything was stolen because that would be bad for business and since I do not have pictures of the theft happening (evidence) of course they will deny it, who wouldnt. Obviously an honest person would have never taken from someone, but trust me this company is NOT trustworthy! I saw another review where another womans camera was stolen as well! I will definitely never hire this company again and when I move again I will watch the movers like a hawk for entire process. The company denies this as I knew they would, but customers TRUST me I would not risk it. Maybe your stuff wont be stolen and then again maybe it will. I hope this review helps others to make an informed decision.  I will also make a check list next time and I will check everything and I will take pictures of every item loaded onto the movers truck for now on.

      I had a move scheduled on September 1st, 2023 for two movers, $110/hour. It took a little over 2 hours, and totaled $240 on my card. I tipped an additional $100.The movers were great, for the most part. I had three televisions in my apartment, two of which were in boxes. The third was bubble wrapped, but I was not comfortable with the hired movers transporting this as it was not in a box.The mover insisted that hes moved hundreds of TVs without damage, so he could do it. We told him no, but he grabbed it anyway. A 65 *** purchased for $950 less than a year ago, completely shattered at exactly the point he had it resting on his head as he held it. We called the moving company following the move. The owner was apologetic and said he would contact us the following day regarding replacement. I sent the information to him regarding the *** and havent heard back since. One of your movers destroyed my property that he didnt even have consent to move.

      Service Provided: Moving Services Date: 12/20/22. The move was scheduled for several weeks and I was provided no notice that the move would be rescheduled to the next day, 12/21/22. Needless to say, that was not the level of professionalism and courtesy that I would expect as a customer. Transaction value: ~$1400 including gratuity. Despite the above delay, I provided gratuity way over 20% to the movers.Requested Refund Value: $156.77 for the part and $452.10 for labor = Total of $608.87.Additional Feedback and Situational Analysis: Unfortunately, we have had significant damages to the drying machine since the movers did not protect the unit at all during the process. I have called ***********************, Owner on multiple occasions over the phone where he would repeatedly say "I will investigate this and get back to you". On one of the calls, he said "the check is in the mail". He never send a check or confirmed receipt nor provided any form of tracking shipping method. He did not call me back one time after my multiple follow **** To this day, I have not received the requested payment. I never got an email back or a phone call with any form of apologies either. As a moving company, you are insured. If you want for your customers to use your services now or in the future, you should fulfill your commitments. Accidents happen. What matters is how you respond to it. That's a common level of decency and professionalism, basics of customer service.

      In January 2023, I had searched movers by inputting the dimensions of my home (****sq ft) and identifying that my home was moderately furnished. ***********************, with Progressive Movers, texted messaged me stating he could do it for $1800. On 05/31/23, Progressive Movers arrived at my home at 9am. Once in my home the 2 movers stated that they would not be able to move all of my stuff due to me needing a 50 foot truck. I informed them that I had inputted the dimensions of my home when reserving the date. The movers informed me that they are contracted by ***********************. I tried contacting *********************** both by phone and text to discuss the issue, however to no avail. I was now concerned if the movers in fact would use wrap and packing blankets, since the company I hired stated it was insured and had a BBB rating of A+. In disbelief over the situation and the fact that it was moving day we agreed that they would move what they could. We ended up having to rent a 12 foot U-Haul trailer and 26 foot U-Haul truck in order to get all of our stuff loaded. Once the furniture was delivered the master bedframe was put together by my husband, so the movers could put the mattress on. The movers tried to make the bed by using a queen size sheet instead of a king and when my husband told them "that was not going to fit on it" they dropped it on top of the whole that was punctured, during the move, in the mattress. It's 10pm, husband leaves ****** to get U-Hauls loaded in ******* before closing in morning of June 2nd.We return to ****** the afternoon of June 2nd. I walk in the room and notice wood chips on the floor which was from the base of the foot board of the master bed (Pik 1 ). Then, I was making the bed when I pulled off the sheet that was too small and saw the whole in the mattress (Pik2&3). Once done I moved a box from on top of the dresser when I saw the ***** in the top of the dresser (Pik4&5). We sent them to ***** a text and called, however no response.

He ignored the multiple text messages, that he requested it be sent by, with the pictures he requested. He said he would take care of it and we have yet to hear back from him in 48-hours.

      I am rejecting this response because:  it was already stated that we both called and texted about our concerns. The owner spoke with my husband on the phone and asked for us to send pictures and stated he would take care of it. However, once we send pictures we never heard anything further. We will take this to the court house and file a civil complaint. Thanks for your help, however he clearly will continue to drag his feet and lie.

      This company moved me on 4/2/2023, they answered phones immediately when booking the move now that Im trying to call them no one answering, loaded all the things on the truck then one of the movers says how I was going to pay I said by card , like ***** said I could well was informed that their card reader wasnt working had to pay in cash ok no problem price for the move was $380. So today I finally start unpacking my stuff and so far one item is missing havent gone through all boxes yet hopefully its the only thing missing which is an echo dot they took the device left the cord that goes with it, issue probably could have been resolved if they would have answered my call. They cord and the device were together so they cant say I missed placed it I knew exactly where I had put it when I packed it, not an expensive item but important to me

      I called to set this moving appointment about two to three weeks in advance, all business was through text.I was told they'd be there between 10-11 am on 12/10 they arrived at 230pm. I was moving from a 1 bedroom to a 1 bedroom 3 minutes away with elevators and the move was 7 1/2 hours.They were not organized and did not have the supplies they promised such as wrap for the furniture and boxes. They used all of my tape to wrap furniture. I was helping them move. After the movers were finally finished I spoke with a person from the company by phone because of all the things that went bad during the move and the time it took, he stated he would charge me for 4 hours. I gave him my card number over the phone and the following day I had an alert that Progressive Movers charged my account more than what was promised. They actually charged my card for 7 1/2 hours. I called the president Jimmy and he talked to me as if I was not a customer and refused to give back the difference in what they were supposed to charge and what they actually charged. He stated the mover on the phone told me what I wanted to hear so he could get off the phone and that the person over the phone had no permission to change anything. Jimmy said he would talk to the movers and give me a return call and to this day 1/18/23 I have not heard from him and have not been issued a refund for the difference. I even texted him the receipt photo I had on the 12/12 and texted him for a response on 12/13 and did not get a response. They did not give me a receipt I had to take a picture of their receipt with my phone that shows 4 hours and the amount. I started a dispute with my bank on 12/22/22 and called them on 1/18/23 to check status and the bank says the company will not return their call so the claim has not been finalized. This man and his employees consistently lied to me and took money that didn't belong to them and I just want what is owed to me back and I will NEVER use them or refer them again.

      My furniture was damaged by this moving company.I was told i would get a refund.That has not happened.I would rather file a claim with the companies insurance so my items can be replaced
