If you order a birth certificate here they will ask you to text/email a picture of your id afterwards. I was very sketched out by that, there has to be a more secure way

This has been the most positive business interaction, I have had. Every step of the process was explained to us, and followed up on. We were in need of documents in order to travel. In spite of paying for expedited service, the US *************** failed to release our documents in a timely manner. Then when we contacted the office of vital records we were met , sorry nothing we can do it will take at least 20 business days, but if you can come in person... unfortunately we live in Georgia, we were a military family and are now in Georgia. Our trip was about to be cancelled. We contacted this business and from the first conversation on, we were treated professionally, with care, and our case was taken seriously. We were in contact the whole time. Every step of the process was explained to us, and followed through. We were able to retrieve our daughters birth certificate copies from ***** , where they were born ( we now live in Georgia) thanks to this agency. I am grateful for the personal attention we received. I highly recommend them for all of your document needs. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to travel, and communicated with us , in order to subdue any anxieties we had. This was excellent customer service.

I need help! I thought I was filling out information for a replacement driver's license on txdps but it was a scam called txdpl. It ask for information not ss but mom maiden name, place of birth and credit card information. What do I do now?

You dont have to pay this much to get a birth certificate, but its certainly convenient to not leave the house. Took a couple days longer than I expected but it was due to it being the weekend. Bonus points for being able to text for customer service! That was awesome. And customer service is great.

At the moment, very frustrated with the service. I ordered a certificate 3 weeks ago and paid for Express Processing and next day shipping. Within minutes of making my online order, I had filled out all of the requested documents and submitted them. Having not heard anything back, I contacted them 2 weeks after my order date and they had "forgotten" about my order. We are now almost a week out since discovering that my order was forgotten. I was told that I would have it by Tuesday of this week...still don't. I received a *** shipping notice yesterday and was anticipating the order would arrive today...it hasn't. When you look at ***, it just shows that a label was created and has no estimated shipping date or arrival information. It appears the package hasn't even been picked up or given to ***. The website says " Along with express shipping, we can have your certified long form birth certificate to you in 2 short days after returning your notarized authorization form and ID." This statement is what drove me to choose this service. Yet here I sit on day 20 and still nothing.To their credit, they have refunded my express processing and shipping fees.All in all, if you need a certificate, I'd be inclined to look elsewhere if time is a factor.

When the oversight was brought to our attention we immediately worked quickly to get your order processed and as you noted we refunded your express processing and shipping. The issue with the shipping label, is my courier creates the label with anticipation the state will provide the record the next day, but in this case it was the following day. Based on our timeline you did receive your order on 8/25. Our truest apologies for your subpar experience. ****************

I ended up losing my birth certificate and ordered a new one through them. I got it at a good time and it saved me a trip to ***** to get a new one. I can vouch for them that they're legit

I cannot thank texas-dps.com enough for making a frustrating process simple and affordable. There is little transparency in anything government related. I do not live in the States and had no idea how to procure my apostilled birth certificate from afar. I did the math and looked at the time frame from ordering directly from the **************. It would have taken months to ultimately have a birth certificate with an apostille. The wonderful ladies behind taxas-dps.com made it all happen within a week.
