1 star******************. I used them in 2023 for a road trip and the service connected to ******* and worked well. After the road trip, I asked them to pause my service since i didn't need it anymore. 1-2 years later I started receiving rude emails from them saying that they would report me to the credit agencies, and that I needed to return my modem and pay for monthly services that I did not have since my account was paused. I told them to send a return label if they wanted the modem back, and had **************** delete their charges to my card. Nomad then fought it, and I needed to supply Amex with proof that I had paused service. As a result, **** now has a note on file about Nomad and their business practices, and they warned me to be vigilant in case Nomad tried to bill me under a different business name in the future. 1 starAbsolutely horrendous company. Claims they have 24/7 support but they won't take support calls in the middle of the day on a Wednesday? Claimed they would pause my subscription since I cannot afford it but instead they charged me the next day anyways overdrafting my account. If I could give 0 stars I would. Would never recommend 0/10. Get ******** it's better, faster, and they actually have a support branch. 1 starDifficulty in cancelling my service with Nomad unfortunately reads just like everyone elses review. I have tried multiple times to get an RMA so that I can return their modem. They ask that you fill in a form on their site with 1. Your order number, 2. The imei# on the device, and 3. The *** card number. I have complied with their request for this information and filled out the required form repeatedly. The form on their site doesnt function. I was actually on the phone with a ***** *****, customer service, one of the times I tried to upload the form. ***** promised they were working on it on his endand I would have a label in ***** hours. That did not happen. I have sent a note or called everyday each time they reply We are sorry you are having problems, we appreciate your frustrations followed by another empty promise. I see in these BBB complaints that they redact numbers and say they will talk directly to you. For information, I have spoken with a ***** *****, who says he is in *******, a ***** and received many written replies from No Name, Customer Support Team and OmarJ. a Senior Account person. See the signature below. Each communication has words to the same effect, we are sorry you are having trouble, I know it is frustrating and I will get you a label. 1 starI was in contact with tech support the first day I got the device and it wouldn't connect for almost 20 hours. I experienced frequent losses of internet and opened a "Trouble ticket" on the 2nd day. I also complained that they did not send the modem listed on my order confirmation (the Raptor) but instead sent the "Air". I was told that since I ordered the "Travel" package, they sent me the best modem for travel. On the fifth day I requested a return authorization and refund. A week into the 14 day free trial I requested to try a different modem, the one in my order confirmation. I was told it was going to require the approval of "upper management" and then was told it had been approved. That was early on a Friday. I contacted them Monday to confirm that they sent the "Raptor" out and to give me a tracking number. I was yanked around in a chat for 2.5 hours as they said "did you try this or did you try that or why don't you do this and get back to us. My internet actually dropped during our chat and we were disconnected. Bottom line is that I was yanked around beyond the 14 trial period and then denied an RMA or refund because I was beyond the authorized window.Review fromSarah C

Nomad Internet is HORRID!!! First, their connections aren't even remotely as good as they claim. I travel a lot and typically stay in areas with strong cell signals. I constantly had problems getting connected and staying connected. I didn't even want to think about what would happen when I was in an area where cell signals were weak and that's supposed to be their target customer. I decided to give ******** a try.Their service is dishonest and it's an absolute battle to cancel service. Earlier this year, I tried to cancel my service. I hadn't used the service in a month after switching to ******** so the *** offered to put my account on hold for 3 months with no fees. I agreed to it so I could confirm Starlink was right for me (it was). One month goes by and I'm charged - MORE than my regular bill. I bring it to the attention of the *** I was in contact with. He apologizes and guarantees me it won't happen again and that the overcharge will be refunded in 5-7 days. 2 weeks later it still wasn't refunded so I had to reach out, again, and I requested my service be canceled. The *** immediately has the amount refunded and, again, guarantees that I won't be charged again. Not long after that, I was charged, AGAIN, and this time was even more than the previous time. I made a complaint and told them I was canceling. It's been 3 weeks, 2 since I returned the equipment, and they're still giving me the runaround about canceling and there's no way to cancel your payment method to ensure you don't continue to get charged. I'm going to ***ort them to my bank, at this point, because they're dishonest and greedy. DO NOT GET NOMAD INTERNET!!!Nomad Internet

They send these apologies but continue to give me the runaround. They have done absolutely nothing to make things right and are still mishandling this situation by telling me I need to send information to receive a shipping label to return the equipment but I have proof that the equipment (all of the equipment I received when I signed up for the service) and that it was returned well within their 10-day timeframe requirement. I also have the communications from the previous ticket supporting the 90-day hold on service with confirmation of no charges at all.Review fromTamara F

1 starThis company keeps harassing me to pay my bill after I spent almost 2 months trying to figure out why I wasn't getting even half the speeds I was promised and paid for. Then I told them when I completely lost service and connection to the router that it wasn't powering up or working and they needed to send me another one. I went 2 months, of which I paid for and never received service. I told them it's not right I had to pay for that and they claimed I never asked for a new router. I recorded that conversation so I have proof. Then they harassed me for a year to pay and finally turned it over to a collection agency. I told them both they had no legal authority to report that debt when I never received the service they are collecting on. They intentionally allowed a balance to accrue so they could collect on that. Not only that but the account is actively in collection and yet they continue to email me about paying my bill to avoid service interruption. Absolutely insane. I'll be filing a lawsuit against this company for damages and credit fraud.Review fromDenise P

1 starThe internet itself was good but the customer service is now a nightmare. We pretty much have had all the problems stated in the other reviews. In the process now of the cancellation. 3+ years ago when we started Nomad you could actually talk to someone in the **. Now you chat but get nothing resolved. I was on chat for 2 hours yesterday, went in circles waited 30 minutes while they conferred with each other then said someone would get back to me. Never did. They changed their website twice in the last few months and no matter how many chances at reset they send me they wont work and there is no create a new account option. So it seems they really dont want contact. The number provided only works for sales. The tech and billing options are unavailable. I was able to block them from using my credit card but it cancellation process is a nightmare! if youre smart, youll stay away from Nomad! I would give it zero stars if I could!Review fromHannah M

1 starI have been with nomad internet for 5+ years. They use to be amazing! Now, for months theyve overcharged me twice the amount owed, changed my plans and saying I was the one to change them, and put me off when asking for a refund!!! 99% of the time their phones never work, so your stuck messaging them. I will NEVER recommend them until I see a refund and change when it comes to the scamming of accounts. Im now $500+ that theyve overcharged. My $99 plan went to $164 for a YEAR. And since March theyve now charged me $214 a month (they charged me TWICE in march).
