1 starWe consigned our 5th wheel toy hauler with PPL and after almost a year , we came to ******** to pick it up. They were paid over ****** for a new rubber roof due to hail damage the job was awful its not a white rubber roof that we had and the rubber seal is hanging off and I had a up graded mattress and they removed it and replaced it with a very cheap one ( never asked could they remove mine) . We paid them ****** for a spotless cleaning and the camper was nasty , barriers were dead so couldnt open sliders until we got back home (*********) . I wish I had read reviews before trusting them with this camper. So far they have no agreed to make any of this right , even after showing pics that they took for the advertisement very sad business! Stay away , the turn over of employees is ridiculous all I can say is RUNPPL Motor Homes

*****, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with PPL Motorhomes in *******. We truly value your input, and we want to address your concerns as comprehensively as possible. The roof job was signed off on over a year ago. It does appear you only gave us 48 hours notice of pick up, which fell on the end of the month , our busiest time. We did our best to get the unit cleaned in the time frame we had to work with. While your unit was listed for consignment, the hydraulic jacks were leaking and not working as designed. You refused to make the necessary repairs, and the unit was literally on the ground the entire listing process. Which we explained several times was a huge concern for potential buyers. Regarding the mattress, you have not been able to provide any documentation of the mattress that you mentioned was in the unit when it was brought to us for consignment. We would have no reason to take a used mattress. We do have record that you refused the walk through at time of pick up. This process is in place for just this purpose. I understand you have been speaking with ****** and ****** regarding what we can do to reach a resolution on these issues. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. 1 starHorrible Nightmare. They wasted my time and money. As of today they have cost me over $2610! For Nothing ! And nobody at PPL seems to care. I was aprroved , Zero Down, Signed the contract , put up ernest money, got a plane ticket from DFW to Orlando. Rented a car from ***** and secured lodging. I was reasssured by 2 PPL employees by text, emails and phone calls that the RV had recently been inspected and was ready to go. WRONG! The afternoon prior to departure (too late to cancel my reservations) I received a phone call from ******* at PPL notifying me that there is a problem. While preparing the RV ( remember I was told it was ready ) they discoverd a electrical issue. So they had to send it to a 3rd party for the repair because as I was told by ******* that PPL doesnt have anyone thats knows how work on electrical issues. The 3rd party couldnt look at it until Monday (3/17) . Here it Monday, 5 days later, I have been sitting here paying for a rental car ($169 per day, ******* *** ($153 per day), and eating out ( $40 per day) and being away from my family and business. No one at PPL can even give me a answer as to when the RV may be ready. ( I guess the shop they sent it to doesnt have a pnone or internet service or a known location that a employee of PPL can drive to and ask when will the RV be ready. Again I get the impressiion that the people at this PPL location really do not care about Customer Service and most likely will not care about you. I am 71 years old, I am dying, this rv was a dream my wife and I wanted to experience before I am too sick to travel. If you have a dream of owning a RV you wont find it at PPL, this place is a nightmare. Now I am buying an airplane ticket to go back home with a heart full of disappointment. My experience with PPL has soured my desire to ever own another Motorhome again.PPL Motor Homes

We truly value your input, and we want to address your concerns as comprehensively as possible. First and foremost we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration you've encountered during your journey with us. I have spoken with our management team in detail regarding this. The unit your were interested in purchasing is 18 years old. We did indeed have an interested party that had paid for an inspection just 7 days prior, and decided to not proceed with the purchase. We did not charge you for the *** (pre-delivery inspection), as it had just been done. While transporting the unit for detailing, the dashboard did indeed start flashing. This was something that was not included in our *** and you were notified the soonest we could get the unit into a third party/sublet would be Monday. It turned out the connectors were incorrect and that was taken care of. Unfortunately, these things do and can occur with out any prior warning. Please know that we try our very best to be as transparent as *********** you know, you are purchasing from an individual. *** does not refurbish nor have any mark up in these units. At over 50+ years in the business , both our sellers and buyers have tweaked our process to the 20 items that they feel need to operate for anyone to utilize as an RV. The issue with the dashboard is not part of our inspection. It was an unforeseen issue that came up, that we did out best to rectify. I am sure you will agree that with a unit of this age, it is impossible to predict when issues may arise.We sincerely apologize that our service did not satisfy your expectations. 1 starI am not sure what exactly this place had going on, but I will not EVER recommend them to anyone.
I don't think I have ever had so much trouble with doing business with anyone as much as I have with this company. I was ignored, then lied too, given the run around and told with my limited credit history and finances I was ineligible to finance an RV, I have a steady finances and more than double the minimum down payment, but okay.
After trying to get one in my budget that would not require financing, I was told it was on hold for another customer, while it was still available on their website, while I was on the phone!
The one I was trying to purchase also stayed available during this time of giving me the run around. I did not expect this to be such a terrible display of professionalism, but I am amazed it took them as long as it did to finally say I was not worth doing business with me. I am not sure what impression they had, but this was horrible experience. Buying an RV is not the hardest loan to come by, btw. If you're going to lie, don't make it so obvious. 4 starsI ordered an sw10D water heater for my 1986 park model trailer, it arrived in 3 days,the projected was 5 days. The heater is an exact fit. The problem is the old one was a Manuel pilot gas valve version that is no longer available. I ordered a 110 vac to 12 vdc converter this week, it appears I have all the parts I need to install the tank now. The standing pilot was nice in the old heater because it kept the tank from freezing during the week. This trailer is my home on weekends my semi truck is my home during the week. It is not practical to drain the tank every time I head out. The new tank has a built in thermostat that can't be turned down so I will be keeping all 10 gallons 120 degrees all week when I am not there. In the summer I can turn the heater off. All should work out in the next ne.PPL Motor Homes

Mr. ******, we are sorry for any inconvenience. It does appear you ordered the FlexStriker™ a lighter with fully bendable nozzle that makes hard-to-light situations a snap. Unfortunately, on the manufactures website it does not show refills available for this model . They do have a model called a ValueStriker that is refillable, this one however does not have the bendable nozzle.
This is not an item we carry in stock, we had it shipped directly from our vendor. The standard ground shipping costs are $14.99.Review fromDave C
