    WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! Sent paperwork that our rate wouldn't change since the purchase of Pulse Power. 6 different people, 3 phone calls, transferred cold each time, and I was treated like I am idiot each time. THEY DOUBLED OUR RATE AND DIDNT TELL US UNTIL THEY BILLED US 2 MONTHS LATER!!!!!! Then told me that all the lower rates are for new customers despite me never making a payment. CHOSE ANY OTHER COMPANY....this company is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!

    ******** customer service. My bill was consistenly $75 when I was intially transferred to this company, after the transfer my bills skyrocketed to over $180 consistently AND I spend about 12 hours a day at school. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get a payment plan to pay a $400 bill. I've spoken to multiple represenatives that blatantly laughed in my face when I explain the situation. I spoke to a supervisor, *****, and she was extremely short and snippy and refused to give me a complete answer when I asked for the length of my billing cycle--- a very simple question and answer! I would never recommend this company to anyone and they are directly scamming lower income residents, especially those in the ********* area.

    Terrible company. Good luck getting somebody on the phone. Supervisor had me on hold for a good while to listen to what I was told. Still decided to not help me. Good riddance. Stay away.

    If I could give Discount Power a zero-star review, I would. I am single and live alone, yet my energy bill has been $200 for the past two months, despite me being away for at least 10 hours a day. I have turned my unit off and only use the fan on auto, but my bill is still extremely high. When I call, they just tell me to contact another number to have the meter checked. When I first signed up with Discount Power, my bill was $90—even in July, during a very hot Texas summer. However, despite being gone for three weeks, my bill still came out to $150. I wouldn’t recommend Discount Power to anyone. Their name is misleading because there is nothing "discount" about them. I’m seriously considering paying the $150 early termination fee because these prices are outrageous.

    Poor customer service. Agent keep telling me the cost I was seeing on computer did not include delivery charge when it stated that it did.

    I have a contract with Discount power for 36months, when I signed up they were called Texas energy and I think they got bought out or changed names over to Discount power. I am moving to a new address and transferring my services and they said I had a deposit because of a delayed payment in the previous record during my contract. The reason why there was a delayed payment previously was because Discount Power had a issues when transferring services from Texas energy to the new company Discount Power. I spoke with customer services and they fixed the issues on the payments because it was a problem that occured internally not because I was pass due or neglected payment. Now that i'm transferring service they charged me $235.00 deposit because of an issues they commited. My credit score is over 760 and I always have services set up on auto pay. The money aspect is not what disappoints me, its the lack of integrity this company has to charge fees when its an internal error.

    Bill always hug unexpected charges fell like I'm being scammed every month. They are the only provider available at the apartment complex which also feels like some sort of scam. Can't wait till my lease and this contract are up!

    My payment was sent electronically on December 30th. Discount power did not process the payment so my bill pay service recalled the payment on January 6th and issued a paper check. I spoke with customer service at Discount Power on January 6th, after receiving an email late notice, informing them of the situation. The representative had me send a statement from my bank showing the payment and an explanation. The representative told me The investigation could take a couple days and my service would be protected for up to 10 days while they investigated. They refunded the late fees. The following day my service was disconnected! When I called they made me pay the bill again even though they had the letter from the bank showing my payment. What was the bank letter for. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered!!

    This company lied to me when signing me up. I was told I wqs NOT under a contract and I an on a 36 month contract that I cannot get out of and I could get better rates with other carriers. I'm 63 single and disabled and it takes every penny I have to just get by every month. I was in the hospital over Christmas and misused a payment and they have placed a $20 disconnect fee on my account and refuse to reverse it. That is nothing but a junk fee it cost them nothing to flip a switch and disconnect someone. I am doing everything I can to pay my rent in February or I'll be evicted and they still refuse to reverse the $20. So there will be a disabled 63 year old woman homeless and this company could care less. I would warn anyone to not even entertain going with them for your electricity. They are horrible people and part of the problem in this country. Shame on them and Ii wish nothing but hardship on all of them that refuse to help me out.

    This company called my elderly mother and told her that I (her son) reached out to them to contact my mother for discount electrical rates. My mother then called me and I reached out to the company to complain. The associate was helpful and apologized and told me that was not their policy and would reach back to management. After I got off the phone my mother called me back telling me the same number has called her back and left two (2) messages, calling her by her first name telling her to "pick up the phone". There is definitely a problem.
