  I am writing to provide an update on my complaint against Gilberts Air Specialists (Case #263959).
  Since my initial filing, the company has hired new staff, and I am pleased to report that the technicians
  and team members have made significant improvements in both the speed and quality of service.
  All of my concerns have been addressed, and the new equipment has been installed.
  
  The system is now functioning properly, and I am satisfied with the outcome. As such, I kindly request
  that you remove or indicate in your records that my original complaint has been fully resolved.

  I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Gilberts Air Specialists at 710 N Post Oak Road, Houston, Texas. I strongly advise anyone considering their services for A/C installation, repair, or maintenance to look elsewhere. We hired them to install a brand-new A/C unit, and within just 3-4 weeks, the unit stopped working. Despite having an extended warranty, the company has made no meaningful attempt to fix the defective part or resolve the issue. After numerous calls, texts, and service visits over several weeks, nothing has been repaired. Their technicians seem unqualified, and the service we've received has been sub-par at best. They made multiple promises to fix the problem, scheduled appointments, and then simply didn’t show up. Now, they won’t respond to our phone calls or text messages, leaving us stuck with a faulty unit. If you value reliability, competence, and trustworthiness in an A/C service provider, do not use Gilberts Air Specialists. They have proven to be a scam and are completely unresponsive when it comes to fulfilling their commitments.

  Highly recommended. The technician arrived promptly and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We had an issue where one of the furnace pipes had disconnected...potentially a big issue! However, Javier came by and explained the problem, and solution and walked me through exactly what he did to fix the issue. He used no tape or cheap materials to get the job done. We highly recommend Gilbert Air Specialists.

  working with Gilbert's Air about issues on the Hvac, they came thru and took care of everything that I needed to my satisfaction.

  Original Review 6/12/24: Do not stand up to their promise of 100% money back guarantee and unit uses more energy than my old HVAC system. They do not return calls asking to speak to a representative . Don't use the ********* system and use someone else for your HVAC needs ** *****

  When in doubt, you may lose faith. I can assure your A/C & HVAC needs are going to be handled by professionals at Gilbert’s Air. After many consultants and specialist reviewed my situation. I was able to find comfort in Stephen ***** and his team accompanied by Elizabeth whose customer service is exceptional. Joey has 20+ years experience, Juan completes a solid team of hard working individuals who know what is important. Fixing my issue replacing my A/C unit with consideration for my budget and care for my families home. Highly Recommend Gilbert’s Air Specialist!

  My AC went out on a hot Friday afternoon in July. The first AC repair company came out and told me that i needed to replace the coils in my unit, would cost 5k to repair, and they wouldn’t be able to complete the work until the following week. I decided to get a second opinion and called Gilbert’s Air Specialist; David came out at 8pm that night and not only told me that the coils were fine but he was able to fix the issue on the spot. Truly thankful to find such a dependable, driven, and personable specialist in David. Highly recommend Gilbert’s.

  The specialist : technician named David came out to our house today. I had a suspicion other companies were telling me a lot of bogus reasons about my unit needing to be replaced and why it was broken / needing replacement parts etc. David - who is very professional and explained everything to us thoroughly - showed up, saw it was only a clogged drain line causing a float switch to activate when too much water overflowed into the drain pan, and fixed our issues without me having to pay absurd prices. Highly recommend.

  Gilbert's Air Specialists provided excellent and timely service. The personnel - particularly David Edge and Elizabeth - were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and answered all our questions. David explained our choices of what could be done, i.e. repair our old existing system or consider buying a new system. He explained the pros and cons of each choice and what would be involved in repairing our existing system vs. purchasing a new system. We decided to purchase a new ac/heating system and David explained the various types and manufacturers we could choose from. Once we selected the new system David kept us apprised of the schedule of the delivery and installation of our new system. He kept on top of the project from start to finish.

  David, the A/C technician I worked with at Gilbert’s, was great! I have a very old unit that he was able to bring back to life after working on the issue for several hours. He didn’t give up, and the price for repair was very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.

  David gave me the best service that I have ever experienced with dealing with the HVAC. He is very professional and come back again for checking if it works efficiently the week after the installation. The team is very responsible for cleaning everything up as well! I would highly recommended it!!! No need to compare with other company because I did it and I found the best one!

  Hvac wasn't cooling had ******* *** *** ***** look at it and only Gilbert Air had prompt service and immediately remedied the fault. They wore shoe covers and cleaned up before leaving. Next time the hvac acts up, they will be called first
