06/05/2025 01:56 am $329.51 Capital Tow was on private property with not contractual basis agreed to with Palermo by the Park for towing services. They towed my vehicle which was parked in a handicap spot with 2 other empty handicap spaces open next to it. My placard had fallen from rear view mirror and fallen on dash. We have parked in this space since June 2023 and had always placed placard on rear view mirror. We noticed our vehicle was missing on Sunday evening approx 4pm and called towing company. The impound lot notified us our vehicle was at their lot and had been towed by Capital Tow and they have nothing but an email address to communicate with. The apartment complex had not called for a tow, nor any resident had complained about a tow. Capital Tow is not an authorized towing agent for ******* at ********. This happed all in the middle of the night and seems very shady! looking at all reviews this seems to be their practice. If you notice on the receipt there is no persons name authorizing this tow. all they did was type in the apartment complex name . There are no enforcement notes. The vehicle was unlocked by the tow truck driver. The vehicle is a front wheel drive vehicle and they dragged it from its spot to get it on the tow truck. We have the vehicle in for inspectionInitial Complaint

My kids fathers car was towed carelessly from my townhome apartment complex even after I registered it. They towed it a couple minutes after the car was registered as you can see the time stamps. We had to pay ****** to Get it out the tow yard and I dont feel its fair for people to follow rules and still have to pay consequences. So unfair.Initial Complaint

I pay every month a $25 fee for parking spot to have an assigned spot #** The spot is cover parking at *************************************** for Center Place Apartments.I have 6 years living here without missing any payments. The complex change ownership multiple times and with those changes they been having different contracts with multiple tow companies. Now is Capital Tow and they used the name Peak auto storage for vehicle storage. I tried resolving this matter with my complex apartments leasing office and capital tow and peak auto storage.I dispute the charges with Capital Tow and the leasing office without final resolution.Initial Complaint

Car was towed from apartment complex I have been living at since July 2024. I have had zero issues with capital tow prior to this incident. I was parked in a non-reserved, non-C listed parking spot. To mu surprise, my vehicle was not where I left it the night before. I first called Capital tow and asked for the reason why as more often than not, I have seen cars get warned before getting towed immediately. My vehicle, registered to my aparment complex, was towed illegally and am wishing for a complete refund prior to me retrieving my car. I was told I need to pay $175, while the average tow charge in ****** is $75. I am asking the BBB to wipe out the $175 charge. Capital tow, make this right.Initial Complaint

Vehicle booted 2/19/25 at 12:30AM at ******************* Apartments. There was ZERO signage at the complex that I was parked in "Resident Parking Only." No tow sign, nothing indicating I could not park in that space. I was visiting my mother who lives at the complex. I've parked in the same area probably 30 times and I've registered my vehicle with the register to park application. I attached a photo of my registration. I believe Capital Tow and Cypress View Villas Apartments have a contract that provides kickbacks to Cypress View Villas Apartments from boot and tow charges and this is why there is no proper signage at the complex. This is unlawful and predatory. Also, I had to go through a process to return the boot to a specific location where I had to check in the device. Not only was the location ID not readable but the Device number written in sharpie on the boot wasn't readable. Due to this I'm half expecting my card to be charged a $50 fee for not "returning the boot properly." This business needs to be audited and shut down. Cypress View Villas needs to be held accountable for their poor parking signage.Initial Complaint

I received a 10 day notice requiring me to renew my registration sticker. At the bottom of the notice it states that online registrations are not validwhich is completely false and illegal to state. Online registrations are in fact valid in *****. Why is that listed on the sticker when that is incorrect.Initial Complaint

I am writing to address the towing of my vehicle from the apartment community, which I believe was wrongful and unwarranted. On November 21st at the 10:44am my vehicle was parked to the side of my residence when it was towed. At the time, the vehicle had a flat tire, but it was otherwise in compliance with all community parking policies. This towing appears to have been in violation of my rights for the following reasons:**** Violation of Parking Rules: A flat tire does not inherently constitute an abandoned or inoperable vehicle. My vehicle was legally parked, and the flat tire was a temporary condition that I intended to resolve promptly.2.Lack of Notice: If a vehicle is deemed inoperable or in violation of community policies, property management or towing companies are typically required to provide notice to the vehicle owner, allowing reasonable time to address the issue. I did not receive any such notice prior to the towing.3.Unreasonable Action: Towing a vehicle for a flat tire is an extreme response, especially when the vehicle was parked its the side of my residence. This action caused unnecessary inconvenience and financial burden.I kindly request a review of this incident and an explanation of the towing decision. If the towing was conducted in error or without proper notice, I respectfully ask for reimbursement of the towing fees and related expenses.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.Sincerely,****** ******* ***** IIIInitial Complaint

This towing company booted my car. However they attempted to boot the front tire and damaged it (see picture) then put the boot on the back tire. They are refusing to acknowledge the damage was caused by their boot, despite the slash in the tire matching the ledge of the boot exactly. They have not responded to any communication and do not have a telephone number to call a representative or established method to file a complaint.
