Urgent Request Fraudulent Solar Installation by Sirio Solar Energy ************ In May 2024, I was contacted repeatedly by Mr. ****** ****** from Sirio Solar Energy ************, trying to sell me solar panels. Despite my repeated refusals, he insisted on visiting my home uninvited. I told him I had no knowledge of solar energy, but he insisted on pulling my credit information, claiming it was necessary to assess my eligibility. He said I needed to sign documents only to gather information from my current electricity provider, so I reluctantly signed. However, Mr. ****** deceived me with false promises. He assured me the installation would be free, offering 17 solar panels. He also falsely claimed the government would cover the cost, and that my electricity bill would be replaced by a $138/month payment for 25 years. Instead, I discovered I had been tricked into a $58,000 loan, with monthly payments starting at $138, rising to $198 after 16 ********* credit score, once 840, has dropped to 600, as the loan reports late payments. Mr. ****** also misled me about a tax rebate of $10,000, which has never materialized. Furthermore, only 15 panels were installed, not 17, and the installation damaged my breaker system. Unauthorized electrical switches were installed, and the breakers were sealed, restricting my access. When I asked for the panels to be removed, Mr. ****** threatened me with 10 years jail time and a 4k penalty. As a 60-year-old with limited English proficiency, I was exploited and deceived. I feel trapped in this situation and seek justice for the financial and emotional toll this has caused. I urge that this fraudulent behavior be investigated and rectified.Business Response

Sirio Solar has zero tolerance for any type of fraudulent activity and ****** ***** is an honorable and factual sales **** I *********************************************************************** conducted all the research on the allegations and found no foul behavior. I'm afraid these allegation's are with the intent of slandering and defaming. Our company lawyer has had to send ***** ****** a letter. The business transaction was legitimate. The DocuSign was legitimate, signed by the homeowner and geotaged at her residence. The loan contract signed with the financing company and verified by them is legitimate. When it comes to Taxes we always refer the homeowner to verify and follow through with their CPA. We haave installers, electrician and also Sirios company owner that witnessed ***** ****** being well aware of her loan, only asked or showed concern about how quickly the system would be active in order to not have to pay the electric and solar at the same time. I dont believe ***** ****** has done that as recommended. Everything about the process has been explained repeatedly. I am not sure if these false allegations are possibly buyers remorse. However the service was completed and the product delivered as per agreement and purchase. Sirio Solar welcomes an investigation in relation to the false statements of ***** ****** and slander of her allegations.
"To whom it may concern, I am *********** *****, and I supervise the installs for Sirio solar Energy Solutions. Since the materials for ***** ****** arrived at *************************************, the client has been communicated with and informed of each step along the way by myself and my crew. Her husband was informed alongside her as well. The install took place on June 30, 2024. ***** and/or her husband were always present. On July 2nd, 2024 ***** ****** notified us of a breaker issue, and even though the breaker was not a solar issue, in good faith we assisted and replaced the breaker for the homeowner, in which the homeowner was also present for. direct contact: *********** ***** Telephone number: ********** email : ******************************************************* I remain at your service for any response, good afternoon"

On October 6th 2023, Sirio Solar Energy Solutions. LLC. was to upgrade and preexisting solar system that was installed by another Solar company. While installing there was an electrical surge that went through the house and caused some damage to the breaker box and thermal spa, treadmill and adjustable bed frame. Sirio did not want to take reponsibility for the damage instead wanted to blame the previous solar company who was not there on the day of installation for what happened. All work has been postponed until my house is in working order as it was before the surge. As of today November 29th it is not, however ************ in my breaker box were replaced on November 17th.Business Response

We are actively working on it however ****************** stopped our personnel from conducting the investigation process twice and prolonged the whole time frame. A technician has already been to his home for the med spa and the part has been ordered. Had he not kicked us off the property and let us conduct our scope of work and reviews, it wouldve been settled by now. Also, the previous company from the existing system installed a component that caused the issue along with poor workmanship from the existing system that contributed to this issue and we are looking for a forensics engineer to fully gather unbiased details without finger pointing. Unfortunately these matters have a process to follow and require due diligence.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
We have been asking for transparency from Sirio since October 6, 2023. We were led to believe that they were going to immediately take care of the damage caused to our home. Yet we were left in the dark for over six weeks. We sent a demand letter requesting that our home is restored to its original order after we sent a postponement letter. We never stopped anyone from coming. We simply requested that the work be postponed until all repairs/replacements have been made.
We ask that Sirio contact us about all issues, yet they sent a person to our home who we could not effectively communicate with because a language barrier and I find out through Sirio's response that they have an order on part for my $11,600 spa that is needed for medical reasons.
Please see the attached files.

Please be advised that ***************** kicked ** out of the property immediately after we replenished ************, and did not allow us to continue the work for funding through which all the expenses would be cushioned with. In result of that and back orders from their equipment components it has been quite a process, as equipment has to be evaluated from what the other company left in poor workmanship conditions to what claiming that Sirio caused and determine that were no pre-existing issues, just recently a new claim about another appliance was brought up. It is not possible to assume responsibility without proper diagnosis. Its all in the works They were shown also all the improper installation work done by the first company which contributes to a high potential contributor and are expecting Sirio alone to assume full responsibility. We may provide photos to the BBB upon request.Customer Answer

I have called and talked to **** more times then I can count. From what **** told me is they work with ****** who's business in Zunko. He is a sales man to help sell Sirio solar units. Like stated I have called several times this concerns that I am not getting what was promised to me. I was told my ****** that the panels would be producing power all the time and all I would be paying in electric company fanning county is the $25 dollar convenience fee. Come to find out after taking to **** over and over again this is not true and i would need a battery back up system to store the power. I was also told by ****** that if I needed more panels it would only be $30 a panel. I found out through **** that this is not true either. With everything I was told by ************** was planning on getting this solar for my company also. This won't happen. ****** is a sexist man. He try's to take advantage of women. I know this because he lied to me about the whole system he also kept contacting me to try to figure out ***** since I am the one that referred ***** and ***********************. He told me *** was hard to work with and just mean mugged him and asked question after question. *** and *************************** will back me on everything I am stating and everything I have Stated to ****. I have still to this day have not gotten my referral money and have not got a system that's explained to me by ******. If ****** would have been truthful and told me how solar really worked I would have never got this system and told him I was not interested. These were all lies to make a sale. Lastly ****** always has an excuse. he won't answer the phone or text but when he does the first excuse was his daughter was in the hospital then he said his partner was stealing money from him. I don't know how any of this has to do with me and my system. unaxceptabble and a very ****** off customer. Take your system back. I don't want it.Business Response

Good afternoon, **** is my assistant and has been assisting ***********************************. Not sure if ******* decided to file against sirio in attempt on an escalation however, the entity zunko solar is the sales partner that ****** who she is referring to as deceitful and sexist is not affiliated with sirio. Our install agreement displays products, energy production guarantee along with other warranties but is completely separate from what was stated to her as we elaborated to her walking her through the use of her solar system. We handle Engineering, Procurement and Construction. Her system is functioning and we are up to part on our end.Initial Complaint

On June 30th of 2022 Sirio solar energy was contracted by Nivo solar to install solar panels on my home. During the install Sirio workers punched a hole through the roof All the way to the dry wall on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Workers filled the hole with silicone and spray foam and called it good. I contacted **** about the issue and they stated that the contractor (Sirio) would be responsible for the repairs. We have been told by Sirio on three separate occasions that we would have to stay home from work in order to complete the repairs. On all three days no one ever showed up. I contacted Sirio yet again and was told that on Saturday 10/29/2022 a company would be here at 11am to fix the issue. It is now almost 1pm. No workers. Contacted Sirio again and was told that he is not a roofer and that the problem was fixed that day. Just not to our liking. I was also told that the hole created by his crew was not his fault or responsibility and placed the blame of the hole on me. I even received a lecture on letting paint dry. I never painted or worked on the repair. This experience has been ridiculous. It has been 5 months and the issue still remains.Business Response

Subject: Message from BBB.orgHello, this email is for whom it may concern. I was wanting to respond to a mail letter I received from bbb from a customer with the name of *******************, I had conducted an installation at his home for a solar system, one of the installers in my crew had placed a box over a section through which there was no attic access, *********** stepped outside of the home and addressed the situation, we stepped inside took at look at the hole that was made by accident and drove out to *********** we tried to patch up the hole with a first layer of compound and the crew member doing the repair only spoke Spanish, we had touched up the first time stepped out of the house giving the patch time to dry and go over it once again to level it out, later during the day towards the end of the day the crew member working on the patch had told me *********** had painted over it. I by mistake took his word for it, and left it alone for not allowing it to dry. I contacted multiple companies for repair the roof, for the spot that had received shingle damage where the box was placed accidentally, and went through the headaches of having no shows, till one of them showed up to conduct shingle repairs, and absorbed the repair costs. *********** later on reached out upset and we spoke, he then clarified that he had not touched the patch what so ever, I apologized and let him know the crew member that had quote on quote informed me the patch was messed with had been released for such incident along with other more. I have however contracted a dry wall professional to do the repair. The **** family did not seem happy that other companies were contracted for such repairs but the reality is that we are solar/ electricians not roofing or dry wall professionals, it the reason we had gone through multiple unreliable companies that we would hope to do the repair professionally as it should be which is what prolonged the time frame in which the issue was resolved.
