Hunter Real Estates managed a property that falls under the "warranty of habitability". The property was not fit for rental at the time it was rented to me. They have denied knowledge of or lack of knowledge of liability by omission. Brenda/****** have been aggressive and hostile towards me when I brought the problem to their attention. The apartment was infested with pigeons/litter beetles and a few roaches. ******/Brenda/the owner has used deception tactics to get me to break the lease. ******/Brenda never offer to assist in any way financially or even find new accommodations. I had to bring it to their attention. Upon doing so more gaslighting. They failed to answer my question about a refund of my rental. They agreed to return in Mar-April and deposit if the place is in good condition at move out. The place was in unhabitable condition when rented. Fresh paint and a mopped floor is basic make-ready. then the stated the funds would only be returned if I agreed to terminate the lease early. They agreed to the clean-up only if I signed a release of liability. They are very unprofessional. They have the nerve to tell me that the owner has already paid out a lot of money. Why is this my problem? Their response to me is sorry for the inconvenience yet they continue to inconvenience me. They have denied my request for funds to offset my living expenses if I were to move.
