We were solicited and attended a presentation by Tradebloc May 8th 2025 which was to be about a class action lawsuit to be filed against our timeshare company. Upon arrival the people running this meeting stated that we needed to act fast since by June 15, 2025 new laws and pay hikes of our timeshares were going to be implemented, they were going to file in ******* by that date since that is where timeshares disputes take place so we gave them 2 timeshares to work on. We paid them $7,000.00 with the promise that this money would get us out of our timeshare and that amount would cover the whole process. We asked again before we paid them if this was all we were going to pay and they stated "Yes that will cover all the costs needed to get you out of your timeshares." After we provided all the paperwork needed via email, we were contacted on July 8, 2025 by a ******* ***** about another fee that we needed to pay to get us out $5,490 for one and $7,000 for the other. I was upset and explained what was told to us and he just said that was extra fees.I reluctantly paid the $5,490 and within 24 hrs he got back to me and said there was nothing he could do for us that it did not qualify for a transfer per owner. They reluctantly did refund me the $5,490 after I insisted they do so since they could not get me out of that timeshare. Then he said let's do the other one and I said we would think about it. Why would I trust a company that lied to me in the beginning about total price and continue to trust they will get us out of our timeshares. My dispute is misleading information deceptive business practices. I want my $7,000 refunded. I was contacted by ******* **** a president of Tradebloc on July ******* and I am to send an email requesting they stop work on my case and request a refund and they will decide if I qualify. They should since their contract states "refund entire purchase price you initially paid if not successful with offer to terminate agreement"/Business Response

We entered into contract agreement with Tradebloc (TB) around 04/25/23 after listening to their pitch about their claim to exit us from our timeshare. We paid ~$3850 for their advertised services about exiting our Timeshare with the understanding that if it wasn't resolved in their 18 month guarantee we'd get our money back. Of note, the timeshare mortgage was paid off and maintenance dues were up to date. We followed their advice as agreed. Around mid 09/23, several email and phone exchanges were made regarding updates to our case (claimed they needed more time) and to solicit the option for a Recital at an additional $2500 to protect us from impacts of the process. So, we're in for ~$6350 and have not had anyone reach out in any manner since 12/12/23. After more than 2 years since we entered into the agreement, I called on May 30, 2025 for an update and left a message. I received a call back and was promised an email address to send in my questions regarding this account. No email was sent. After that call, I started searching the web for info on timeshare exit and found that my timeshare has a current program that existed 2 years before I contracted with TB for service. A company who specializes in timeshare exit, after reviewing my account, doesn't inform me of a legitimate option for exit for over 2 years, but pushes additional services to protect me from the timeshare. I find it extremely difficult to believe that TB has/ had no knowledge of this option. We have since incurred ~$2200 in additional maintenance/ late fees and will have to pay additional fees to exit the timeshare. So I'm in for ~$6,350+$2200. How can a company who claims to specialize in this process provide legally (fiduciary) represented direction that doesn't include a bona fide means to exit but solicits more $$$ to protect me from an outcome that only serves to harm my credit for YEARS! I have made several attempts to call and email the company but have not received a response.Business Response

In March 2025, my wife and I attended a Tradebloc presentation where they claimed they could help timeshare owners exit their predatory contracts by grouping cases into settlement actions against timeshare companies. We were told that although our case wouldn't technically be a class-action lawsuit, it would still be treated as a class-action type legal challenge. They stated prior success with other ***************** and assured they would handle communication with our timeshare company. We paid Tradebloc $5,500 to begin the process. We were instructed to stop paying our annual maintenance dues, that they would work with the credit bureaus, and would keep us informed. In March 26, we received an email from Tradeblocs legal representative that they are negotiating with our timeshare resort for a favorable outcome. In the presentation, we were told that the transfer fee would be about $200, which turned out to be grossly inaccurate. On May 2, we were contacted by the Dir of Tradeblocs **************** who informed us that the resort reluctantly agreed to accept a settlement offer. However, the escrow fees would be $3,410. He claimed this was the amount agreed with the resort and the offer was time-sensitive.When we began the deed transfer process, we discovered the timeshare was being transferred to ***************************, NOT back to Marriott Vacations as we had been led to believe. The escrow agent confirmed that ******** had not made any offer, and ********* Specialists would attempt to sell our deed to a third-party buyer. Tradeblocs earlier claim of a negotiated agreement with ******** was completely false. Ive left vm to Tradebloc to get answers, but they have not returned my call. This was a major falsification by Tradebloc and undermines the basis upon which we entrusted them with our case and finances. This situation was misleading, high-pressure, and full of misrepresentation. I demand a full refund of the $9910 weve paid to Tradebloc.Business Response

Thank you for taking the time to speak with the President of our company. Officially you enrolled with us in March 2025 and are now in the final stages of the property transfer process. You are nearly finished with our program, and once the transfer is complete, you will no longer retain ownership of the property in question. At this point, we are simply awaiting the return of the notarized deed to bring the matter to full resolution. Notably, this process has taken approximately 3.5 months substantially faster than the typical 18-month timeline we often see in similar cases.Customer Answer
Date: 06/30/2025
This is not necessarily a rejection or non-acceptance of the response by Tradebloc, but would like to keep this open until the property transfer process is completed. We have submitted the notarized paperwork needed and awaiting for Tradebloc to complete their process as discussed. Once we have received notification and validation of the completed property transfer, then we will close this case.Business Response
Date: 07/02/2025
We fully understand and respect your decision to keep the matter open until the transfer process is formally completed. We also acknowledge that this is not a rejection of our response, but rather a continuation of the process to ensure all necessary steps are finalized. Once the transfer is complete and validated, we will provide formal notification to you. We appreciate your patience and collaboration, and we remain committed to ensuring a smooth and timely resolutionInitial Complaint

This place does not answer phone calls and rarely return calls or respond to emails. My husband's credit has dropped tremendously and when he spoke to the the organization we were trying to cancel from they stated NO ONE from Tradebloc has contacted them. However, Tradebloc has received payment to handle this situation and they have not! This is not how you do business when you made a guarantee to uphold professionalism. I do not recommend this place at all as now I believe they are just taking our money and not doing anything they stated they would do.Business Response

Please be advised that we have made three separate attempts to contact the client by phone regarding the issue raised, each time leaving a voicemail message. As of yet, we have not yet received a response. We remain committed to resolving this matter and will continue our efforts to establish contact. Should the client return our call or provide an alternate method of communication, we will promptly follow up to address the concern.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I have contacted the number provided by Roxanne Barilla several times. I left a message in the general mailbox and left another one today which is her "3rd attempt" I left another voice-mail today. She only providers the general number that takes at leat 5 minutes to get through the automated responses and "Joan" who I believe is AI. Not sure but this is one of my complaints. Their lack of reachability. Without Joan the line always says representatives are on another call. Which is probably true considering the amount of complaints. I wouldn't be so irritated if I wasn't originally contacted by them for my services. I obtain the services and I have never recieved an update, my husband's credit score has plummeted and I will reiterate.... what is going on with the case?! Because they clearly have not contacted Said Corporation to inform them of the plan.
So Roxanne when and if you get this message please leave a direct number to call you!

Thank you for your continued efforts in trying to connect with RoxAnne. Unfortunately, she is unable to provide her direct extension. However, please rest assured that she is actively trying to reach you and left another voicemail earlier today. Regarding your credit file, we want to reaffirm that we are diligently working with you on this matter. Your engagement particularly your recent efforts in uploading your credit reports to the portal is an important part of the process and is greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that you have been with us for just over six months, and most credit restoration cases typically take up to 18 months to complete. We understand that this can feel like a long journey, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and trust as we continue moving forward.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the business’ response and accept that Roxann and I will not be able to connect as we both have left voice-mail. Today I called and left several back to back voice-mails. My request is simple and although those answers have not been taken care of.. specifically I need the know when was the communication provided to the other place and need documentation of that information as I was told that was one of the first order of business. While I do understand this is a lengthy process I do expect to receive updates via email, postal mail, or telephone as to where we are in the process. I have yet to hear any of this. Which is beyond frustrating because no ones credit would be to where it is now if not Tradebloc done what they said they were going to do in the first place.

My husband and I hired Tradebloc Inc to get us out of the Marriott timeshare that we entered in 2019. We were contacted by them to attend a meeting with other timeshare holders. We never actually used the timeshare because when we tried to book our first trip we found that it wasn't what we were sold at all and that ******** had pulled a bait and switch. We paid Tradebloc over 11K and they promised the legal team could get us out of the contract within 7-9 months and the credit monitoring department would prevent any credit damage. They told us to STOP making the monthly payments and maintenance payments to the timeshare, which we did. It's been more than 5 years and they have literally done nothing to protect our credit or get us released from our timeshare contract. Communication with them results in excuses and zero results. I'm now widowed at 56 and am unable to purchase a home or refinance my home because my credit reflects a default on a mortgage because the timeshare contract is written as a mortgage even though there is no physical address. The ********* company is foreclosing now on the timeshare so in addition to years of missed payments on my credit report I now will be dealing with a foreclosure on my credit for years to come. My credit scores would be in the 800's were it not for this disaster. The damage that Tradebloc Inc has caused is criminal and PREDATORY. I can't stress enough how much of a complete scam Tradebloc Inc is for timeshare resolution.Customer Answer

The company ***resentatives made promises of performance and outcomes to end our timeshare commitments. Eventually, 3 options were presented ( basically take it or leave it) . We requested more details regarding the terms and conditions associated with each option . After a month the company has not provided requested information and the *** keeps sending the same options . We requested copies of all communications between Tradebloc and Time share company and owners associations. Tradebloc has provided no documentation to demonstrate they have performed any service. This includes sending timeshare company a letter advising that Tradebloc is ***resenting us in this matter. The ***************** advised us in a letter asking for the name of the firm ***resenting us which indicates Tradebloc has not been in communication with ********* company. The services provided to date are not consistent with promises and enducements made by Tradebloc ***resentatives to entice us to sign up for their services. We request Tradebloc to present full details ( terms and conditions) of the 3 offers and copies of all communications with ********* company, owners association and credit ***orting agencies or terminate agreement and issue full refund of fee paid and full release from any liabilites or obligations to Tradebloc.Business Response

Signed a contract stating that if TradeBloc does not present me with an offer of release after 18 months, I will be eligible for a full refund. They also promised me that they would be able to block my timeshare from hurting my credit score which they have not. It has been 19 months, my credit score is ruined, and I still have not received an offer. I submitted a request for a refund. They denied the refund. Clearly violated our contract.Business Response

They did reach out to me. Promising me that they will try to fix the issue with my credit which is what I hired them to do and if they can not fix it, they may consider a refund. I don’t feel it’s right for me to close out this complaint until either my timeshare is blocked from my credit reports or I receive a full refund. I am not mad that they couldn’t do the job. It happens with a lot of businesses, I am mad that they refused to refund me money and I am mad that after 19 months, it took me filing a complaint for them to contact me to resolve any issues. I promise right here to take this complaint down and to leave a good remark if I either receive a full refund or my timeshare is removed from my credit report. If I pay someone over 4500 dollars to do a job, I expect the job to be done.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I don’t feel it is in my best interest to remove this complaint and say all is well. Yes, tradebloc did call me after submitting this complaint, but it is the first actual phone call to resolve any issues since signing up. Let it be known, I am very appreciative of the call and I also appreciate someone within your company willing to get the ball rolling to do what I hired you to do. That does not however assure me that all will be well. The thing is, when I hire someone to do a job I expect that job to be done or to refund me my money when it can not be done. I am not upset that the job hasn’t been done, I am upset because I feel disrespected that TradeBloc believes I do not deserve my money back. I am willing to close this complaint and also leave a good feedback for TradeBloc if one of two things was to happen. Either refund me the full amount, or remove my timeshare from my credit. I understand that you do not have authority over Transunion or the other ones, so therefore I completely understand how easy it would be to fail at doing what you were hired to do, but I feel TradeBloc should own up to their failures and refund the money as mentioned in the contract. We did come to an agreement. I am giving you some time to remove my timeshare from my credit reports, but it has already been 19 months. Forgive me for not removing this complaint until something is actually done. I do promise though, if you are able to remove my timeshare from my credit reports within the next 30 days, or refund me my money, I will close this complaint and speak good of your company. Until then, this complaint stays open. Sorry for the inconvenience.Business Response

I truly apologize for rejecting your response again, but that was not the summary of my last conversation with TB. What was summed up in my last conversation with TB was that I was going to discuss with my spouse rather we want to move forward in business with TB or request a refund. After having said conversation with my spouse it was decided that we want to request a refund. With that being said, it was mentioned that if we do decide to go that route, we would only receive a partial refund. Again, I apologize, but I do not believe that is fair. The contract states that if TradeBloc does not present me with an offer of release from my timeshare, which is the case, that I would be eligible for a FULL refund. I am however willing to compromise. I want this situation to be solved as quickly as possible, so I will be ok not receiving a full refund. I will settle for no less than a 60% refund which should put my refund around $2900. I truly believe anything less than that is unacceptable. Allow me to explain my position. TradeBloc wants me to settle for a foreclosure on my timeshare. They state that foreclosure is a good thing. TradeBloc believes that foreclosure is an offer. I strongly disagree. I believe foreclosure is a consequence of not making payments on your mortgage, not an offer. I would however be ok with foreclosure if it were to be blocked from my credit reports which TradeBloc says they can do. It has been 19 months since my first missed payment and it still shows on all three of my reports. Please forgive me for being doubtful that TradeBloc will ever be able to block them. That equals two jobs that TradeBloc is hired to do and two jobs TradeBloc has failed to do. I do apologize for my position on this but I strongly believe I have a right to take this position. I hope we can come to a final agreement.Customer Answer

I’d like to provide some clarification regarding our recent interaction with Mr Stratton concerning the refund and the BBB complaint. Mr Stratton initially provided us with the terms under which he would accept a refund. In response, we asked, purely as a question whether he would be willing to remove the BBB complaint in exchange for receiving the refund. This was not a demand, but rather a request for clarification on whether that could be part of the resolution. He agreed to the proposed terms voluntarily. I informed him that once the refund check was prepared, I would email him a copy of the completed check. Per our understanding, the complaint would be closed upon his receipt of the refund. Again, he acknowledged and accepted those terms. At no point have we asked him to remove the complaint earlier than what was mutually agreed upon. We have honored the timeline and conditions as discussed.Customer Answer

Hello, TradeBloc and I have reached a satisfying end. They have agreed to refund me 60% of the money as originally stated through direct deposit as soon as I remove the complaint. I do apologize for my last misleading comment. I was not insinuating that TradeBloc was forcing me to remove the complaint in order to receive the refund. I was simply stating that I would remove the complaint once I see a photo of the refund check. I do apologize to TradeBloc for the way that message came out.
I would like to remove this complaint now please. Thank you TradeBloc for the quick responses and for agreeing to the refund. I am sorry our business together did not work out.
Thank you BBB for being a very successful mediator between TradeBloc and myself.
Best wishes to all.please inform me as soon as the complaint is taken down.

We attended a seminar by a *** from Tradebloc on 4/11/22 and paid them $5200.00 to begin the process to exit our timeshare with **************** Vacations. We then made another payment of $4,675.00 on 6/13/23. I am currently 86 and my husband is 91 and was diagnosed with lung cancer (stage 4) in 2021. This made it all the more important to exit our timeshare. When we hired Tradebloc we were always current on all bills to the timeshare. Tradebloc made it very clear that we were to have no communication and make no payments to the timeshare. They would handle everything. Well over ****************************************************************** fact, our timeshare told us that they never heard from Tradebloc at all ever! Now we are incurring monumental finance charges because for several years weve made no payment. because we followed what Tradebloc told us. We asked my daughter to help us and she has had numerous emails to them and they always say to ignore the timeshare phone calls, bills etc. This became incredibly stressful for us especially my husband as we have been scraping by to pay for chemo. They had us fill out a client refund request form but ultimately denied it. My daughter then reached out again and asked if they could at least meet us halfway and refund half of what we paid. Again, no response from Tradebloc. How can this company get away with this? Take the money up front and then do nothing but wants us to stop paying forever to the timeshare and they will protect our credit. I would appreciate any assistance you may be able to give. Thank you!Business Response
