    In the middle of march, my account was banned without warning on both tinder and Hinge. *** received no information with regards to how my account was banned or as to why. Tinder customer support was very crass, and were unable to provide any information as to the reasoning behind my ban.

    September 6th, 2023 A user of multiple apps under ********************** on and off for years, I have been banned out of what MUST be an error on Tinder - note that this also happened months ago and I was able to log back in successfully within a few hours, which has not been the case today - after re-submitting photos for verification at that. I have never violated any of their community guidelines or other rules in my years of using Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, etc., and will typically block and/or report those that do so in alarming fashion on my own. In order to take any sort of safety precautions for MYSELF, I have had to pay to use this app to be able to swipe whilst "hidden" so as to not be seen by past abusers met ON their apps because Tinder's system for blocking does NOT work, and the people that should have their accounts banned are somehow able to keep theirs. My bio (attached) doesn't have anything that goes against rules, my profile photos are ALL respectable, and my conversations are entirely PG-13. I would like my account reinstated as soon as possible.

    A few years ago I was matched on tinder with an obviously fake account. They had used photos of a model to make the account, and the content of their messages was typical of fake accounts like this. I then responded to one of these messages telling the spam account to "kill yourself" I know doing so was a violation of their terms. But, I feel that addressing the message to a fake account that was trying to scam me, an account that was also violating their terms, should alleviate me from being banned. I would never tell an actual genuine person to do that. And, if tinder will show me lenience and allow me back on the app, I promise to never violate their terms in any way, even when confronted with a spam account. The reason I waited so long to file this complaint: I moved onto other dating apps and tried those. But, tinder is the most used app and I still want to be able to use it.The banned Phone number in question is **************

    I recently required a refurbished phone in which the previous owner of this phone, had a tinder account that has been banned from the platform. When I attempted to create a tinder account it told me I was banned. I contacted tinder and informed them that I just purchase this phone and denying me access to this platform is discriminatory. I have never violated any of tinders terms of service and if Im not granted access to this platform, I will be be filing a a lawsuit in court for discrimination.

    A few weeks ago, in early August I discovered that I had been banned from Tinder without explanation. I have always conducted myself properly and have obeyed all of the guidelines expected of a user of the app. I contacted ********************** Support on the 9th of August to inquire as to the reasoning. I communicated with their support team but did not receive an explanation. The only response was "We take violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines very seriously. Your account will remain banned from Tinder and you will not be able to create a new Tinder profile using your ******** account and/or phone number." I understand that they take their guidelines seriously, but I am certain I did not violate them. I have always been respectful in any communications with matches. I also haven't met any of my matches in person so it can not be due to offline behavior. I've never used my tinder to spam or solicit other users. I think that this was a mistake or the result of a disgruntled user reporting me for not responding quickly. I am quite frustrated, in my communications with Tinder I was provided zero transparency. I feel that they are uninterested in actually providing help to their customers. I was a paying member and had subscribed to Tinder Plus before being banned. My credit card may have rejected a charge from Tinder around this time due to some problems we were facing with fraud. I wonder if this could have affected my account. If this is the case, I would like to speak to their billing department. On September 4th I contacted Tinder support again to inquire about my ban. I also followed up that inquiry with a request that Tinder deletes the data it has stored about my identity if they will not reinstate my account. I frankly do not feel comfortable knowing that my data is in the hands of a company with such poor communication and transparency. The support personnel did not respond to my request that my data be deleted.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I am frankly, unsatisfied with Tinder's inability to provide me with an adequate response until I filed a complaint with the BBB. I would like to know if I could receive permission from Tinder to either create a new account or have my account reinstated if I am allowed to communicate further with the business. I had issues with my credit card that I believe resulted in that chargeback that caused Tinder to ban my account. I am wonder if there is any way this could be resolved as to where I could have the opportunity to go back on Tinder.

    Hello,So I made a Tinder profile to meet new people since I am in university. I didn't use the app that often but one day I got a notification about myself doing a face verification. I had to do it and was permanently banned without any explanation. Of course, I emailed Tinder Support numerous times to see why I was banned but they kept giving me a copy-and-paste response. Until a guy called ****** from their support team looked into my profile and stated that I didn't violate the community guidelines as he told me that I should be able to log in and use my account without an issue. But after logging in without even doing anything in the app, I was banned again, I think this is due to Tinder auto-banning me as they stored all my information (my device, my number and email etc).Of course, I got back to them but different people emailed me soon after giving the same responses.

    Tinder has banned me out of nowhere and has caused me to have issues with other sites such as Hinge. When I contacted they gave me no reason for the ban, and I know myself I am always respectful and appropriate and have never engaged in any behaviour that went against their community guidelines. Although, I am aware that people have revenge reported my account and it isnt okay for tinder to take every complaint as valid without looking into them to see for theirselves and giving the person reported against a fair chance. There isnt anything to be done with false claims made against someone, and to be banned permanently with no valid reason isnt okay and isnt a way to professionally run a business. It has made me feel discriminated against and believe it to be true because there are no other reasons why I would be banned from tinder or hinge. If they arent inclusive of all people it should be stated rather than banning people they dont want on their platforms and giving no valid reasons whatsoever.

    I have not been on the tinder App for quite some time (min 2 years). The last time I used the app my account/profile was in good standing. I have attempted to return to find my account "banned".     I was banned from all of the apps owned by the company starting with BLK, ending with Tinder. *** never had one of these accounts except for an BLK which had stopping being used in September of 2022, unless someone was using my number to impersonate me. Anytime Ive tried to reach out to see why I was banned when I never used the app I was either ignored or told that the ban stays.     In order to protect the privacy of our users and maintain the integrity of the reporting process, *** does not disclose specifics regarding any report(s)submitted. We understand that ******* may want further details, but hope they can appreciate that these policies protect all users including them.

    While we understand that ******* may remain dissatisfied with our response, this account will not be reinstated. In addition, any new accounts Marquan creates will also be subject to termination.     I am rejecting this response because:   What Im telling you guys is my BLK account was not active since September of 2022 so what reports were received unless someone was impersonating me. I was also banned from apps I never used, so Im asking that this be appealed since the one the reports were made against wasnt me! I never once disrespected anyone, nor solicited any services on the app I read the terms and conditions and I personally did not violate any of them.

    I am rejecting this response because:   Your company isnt grasping the fact that the account that was banned was not me. I never used the name ******* on that app so I know for a fact I did nothing to get banned
