I was shadowbanned from this businesss dating app without any explanation what so ever. I did nothing to warrant the shadowban, and would like to get this resolved. I stopped receiving any likes on the app and am unable to purchase any subscriptions from it because of this.Business Response

I have been a user of the ******************** dating app for several years without any issues or complaints. In fact, Hinge has always been my preferred dating app as a result of the success with matching to people with whom I share the highest compatibility with. However, on May 24, 2023 I opened the app to learn that my account had been banned for a supposed violation of the app's policy. I applied for an appeal but I was denied without any explanation as to what I had been in violation of. I have always been polite with everyone, never sent any offensive or lewd messages to anyone I have interacted with on the app, and my profile has always been in line with the app's policy. In fact, over the past few weeks I have only exchanged messages with one person, with whom there was only brief and professional communication. I used hinge for online dating and meeting new people. I had purchased their subscription for hinge + which had expired and I stopped using it for a while after that. However, I wanted to start using it again but when I tried to log in, there was a prompt stating I was banned for violating terms of service but it failed to specify what was violated. My account has been removed from Hinge, and respectfully, I dont think I violated the terms of use. If I did so, it was unintentional.I highly value the app and the experience on it. That being said, I would never intentionally do anything to harass or disturb the users or the flow of the app.Hence, Im requesting to have access back to my Hinge account if possible. They have taken my money from purchasing premium, they have used facial recognition software without approval, and banned my account without any real fault or reasoning. I have been banned my hinge and my account was removed from Hinge. I believe I did not violate the terms of use. If I did, it was unintentional. I have never used foul language, or inappropriate words.
I suspect it may be due to the fact I deleted the application and re-downloaded it. That is exactly when the ban occurred. It may be an error/mistake on their part, thinking it is suspicious activity. This was because I was not yet comfortable going back to the dating scene but also conflicted and felt like I needed to meet new people. I was not trying to violate any terms or rules or knew this would set off a warning or a ban from hinge. I would have never done this if it could lead to a ban. I enjoyed my likes, and there were no reasons from re-creating my account other than my comfort level of online dating.
I highly value the app and my experiences. I've formed long-standing relationships and meaningful friendships. I've had many positive experiences and believe it's a very useful application to meet people. I have fully abided by the terms of Hinge. I understand their protective measures, and I would never ever intentionally do anything to harass or disturb the users or the flow of the app.
Please relay this message to Hinge so they can have full clarification, I'm requesting to have access back to my Hinge Account.
