I received a text message for a Forest Hill Management and I clicked on the link and it stated that I owe ***** to an Aspen Peak Financial and that I needed to pay in full or set up a payment plan. They stated that I received the loan in 2017 for the amount of $400 and now the debt is the above amount. I have never did any business with Aspen Peak Financial or taken out any loans with them. I asked ********************** to please provide the contact information for their client Aspen Peak Financial, so I can reach out to get more details and they stated they could not give me that information. The phone on the text link is ************ for this Forest Hill Management. This is FRAUD and it needs to be investigated.Business Response

I've never done any business with or heard of this company Aspen Financial. I checked my credit report and saw this under collections for the amount of $4,051. I've contacted the company with no response. This is a complete FRAUD. I have attempted to dispute with the credit bureau with no resolution. I am reporting this to Better Business Bureau and identitytheft.gov there are approximately 40 complaints for the same type of incident on the Better Business Bureau website. It seems that they are opening loans in peoples names without their knowledge and selling the loans to collection agencies. Very fishy! They do not have an email address just a phone number. Now they are operating as Centz! ************. The collection agency is ********************************* ************. Please help me get this fraudulent charge dismissed and off my credit report.Business Response

I have NEVER done any business with, nor have I even heard of Aspen Financial. Yet there is an account under my name and social security number sold to collections by this company stating I owe an insane sum of over $4k. I never received any communications at all from Aspen financial- no call, email, mail- let alone take any money or product! I found out about the account when it hit my credit in collections, this is fraudulent! I have attempted to dispute the collections through equifax and credit karma and have gotten no where and I dont know what to do, I need help.Business Response

I noticed that my account with ********************************************* had been successfully removed from my credit report, marking a positive step towards improving my credit history. However, my satisfaction was short-lived as I recently discovered that Aspen Financial had seemingly sold a resolved account to *************** LLC. This transfer has resulted in the creation of a new collection entry on my credit report, causing a significant setback to my credit score and overall financial well-being. I find this situation deeply concerning, as it not only contradicts the successful resolution of the account with ********************************************* but also raises questions about the ethical practices of both companies involved.Business Response

Aspen Financial Direct took out a loan in my name. I never received ANY funds. I never signed ANY loan documents. The complaints listed on this website about them all match what happened to me. Basically I see a new collection on my credit report. This is affecting my credit and it's fradulant. *************************** bought debt from a company called Aspen in the amount of $4,141.44. I have never ever taken a loan out with Aspen before. They basically took out a false loan in my name and then sold the debt to ***************************. This needs to STOP. How many reports do you need to get about a company before someone takes action? They keep doing this. Aspen has ZERO proof of a loan with me. This needs to be removed from my credit report.Business Response

On 11-20-23 a collection agency hired by Aspen Financial open a collection account on my credit report stating I owe $3,755.00. This is a fraudulent account. I live in ********** of Jan 30th, 2022 and according to a ****** Search Aspen Financial stopped loaning to customers in ********** as of 2019, which is where I lived during that time period. I have never been contacted via email (I have had the same email for 8 years), nor have I received any letters when I lived in ********** or even been contacted here in Georgia. I have no knowledge of this account. If I did take out a loan it would have been over 4 years ago and no one has contacted me. I would like to see proof of this loan. Aspen is a fraud as is the collection agency- *********************************.Business Response

ASPEN Financial Direct issued a loan to who knows who, without ever pulling my credit in 2019. Now they keep selling the fraudulent loan I NEVER took out to collection agency's and they keep reporting it on my credit reports. They first sold this fraudulent loan to ******************************************* (AUGUST 2022) and now to ******************************* (MARCH 2023). I've spent a ridiculous amount of time fighting this with the credit bureaus. I filed a report on IDENTITYTHEFT.gov and was able to get it off my TRANSUNION report but now EXPERIAN denied my claim and I have to keep fighting, wasting my time, while this company gets away with stealing identities and issuing loans. This company is a scamBusiness Response

I had just went and paid off all of my prior credit card debt as a college student, then randomly received a notification from credit karma that I had a new collection on my account of $3211 in March of 2023. A loan which I DID NOT take out. The collection agency is *********************************, and the direct loan issuer is a spec financial direct. Nobody will answer my questions as to when it comes to when it was taken out or quote literally any information at all. This is destroying my credit.Business Response
