I honestly dont get why RS CLARK ASC is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. How can they just put something on my report without any proof?Account No: ***********, *********** Amount Disputed: $360, $1500

I have been harassed weekly by someone at RS Clark and associates ext. 103 regarding a bill (date of service (6/2023)in the amount of 400 from *********************** in ****** *****. Last week, my husband and I both contacted the hospital and they said there is nothing in collections. The lady from RS Clark called again today talking to me like I was less than human, talking over me, and wouldnt let me speak when I was trying to tell her that I had contacted the hospital again today, and was yet again told that there is absolutely nothing in collections. Im glad that the call is recorded because the way that she to me was rude. She was yelling and would not listen to me. She finally transferred me over to her manager and I merged the call with them and the hospital. The hospital informed him that they had already emailed them last week telling them that theres nothing to collections and sent another email today. She said she would listen to the call and I encouraged her to do so. The way I was spoken to is rude harassing and against the law. I need to know what I can do to further this complaint, especially since they admitted to having received the emails from the hospital saying nothing was in collections. The ladys at ext 103 is demeaning, was literally yelling at me, and kept telling me to pay the bill I owe even after the hospital had emailed them. The way she talked to me is nothing less than harassment.

I am rejecting this response because:  I give them permission to disclose the conversation and to allow the harassment call to be turned over to the BBB for validation of what I claim has occurred, and how the lady at ext 103 violated my rights as a patient and consumer. Also, the call was merged with the hospital billing who stated to the manager at RS Clark and Associates that this isnt an isolated incident. *********************** informed RS Clark during this call that several patients have complained about being harassed. This cannot go unpunished as their tactics are against the law. Theyre not even supposed to call weekly if I owe a bill, much less call weekly when they have received emails from *********************** stating that nothing has been sent to collection. RS Clark must initiate a great change in their collection tactics, be better informed of emails they have received, and cease to talk to anyone in such a demeaning way. I will NOT tolerate anyone yelling at me and making me feel like a lowlife for not paying a bill I DO NOT OWE!

This debt, listed as $1,784.89, is both false and unwarranted, as explained below. On May 28, 2024, I vacated my assigned on-post housing at ************* upon retiring from the Army after 22 years of service. At the time of my departure, I was charged $60 for unemptied trash cans. I paid this amount promptly and was informed that no additional charges were owed. However, three months later, in August 2024, I received a notice requesting payment for an additional month of rent for June 2024. This was surprising, as I had not resided at the property during that time. I immediately reached out to ************** via email to dispute the charge. After correspondence, the issue was resolved, and I was assured that no further action was required. Despite this resolution, ************** has now reported the erroneous debt to credit reporting agencies and turned it over to a collection agency. Since then, I have been subjected to continuous harassment from debt collectors demanding payment for a debt I do not owe. As an Active Duty Soldier, my Basic Housing Allowance (BHA) was automatically paid directly to ************** every month as a condition of residing in on-post housing. This ensures that all rent payments are consistently debited and paid in full. Given this arrangement, it is not possible for a debt of $1,784.89 to have accrued. A manual ledger by an employee was sent showing clearly that they've doubled the payment about and the balance. Attached, please find supporting documentation, including: 1. Proof of my departure from ************* housing on May 28, 2024. 2. Email showing resolution for June 2024 rent dispute. 3. Proof of Basic Housing Allowance payments made directly to **************. 4. ******.

Illegally attempting to collect a debt where they are not the original creditor and I did not agree to enter into any arrangement with them. The debt is 5.5 years old and has reached the statue of limitations for the state. They ignore the law and continue to illegally collect debt. **** complaint has been filed and Experian, where disputes are sent is currently facing a class action lawsuit for not fully investigating disputes which has lead to companies like this to keep illegal debt on your credit negatively impacting your life.

Hello, see attached printout from credit report - all data being reported is incorrect - this is an egregious, gross violation.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 01/15/2025

This collection company bought inaccurate debt from an apartment over 5 years ago, they do not have any accounting, and the dates are inaccurate. Although I have attempted to dispute, they continue to confirm accuracy and ******* has not fully investigated the issue, allowing them to keep this inaccurate, incorrect debt on my credit. This has severely impacted the quality of my life as due to the amount and their agreement, they are solely the 100% recipient of this agregious large amount that no one will provide details. This company boasts, on their website, how "credit reporting" is the most successful way that they keep consumers liable. They further boast how they collect "yesterday's" debt, and how they train their collectors aggressively for collections. After viewing their advertising and being a victim of their illegal debt collection practices, it is disgusting that they are allowed to operate in this manner. I have since file a complaint with the **** as disputes are not being investigated fully, allowing debt companies like this to continue hurt consumers. ******* has a class action lawsuit filed against them with the **** as these illegal practices have demolished consumers ability to have opportunities such as buying a house, car, insurance, apartments, or anything that requires credit. It is extremely unfair that this type of behavior is allowed. This account is the only inaccurate item on my credit at this time and due to the large amount, they are adamant on keeping it there, by any means necessary, even if it means they are breaking the law to do so. It is time that companies who operate under these disgusting practices are stopped so that the little consumers can take back their lives  from companies that boast and brag about their illegal practices.  I have provided my credit report showing a collection of $4,706 and also screenshots of the marketing and advertising.

I have an account in collections that is being handled by RS Clark & Associates. I contacted them to negotiate a settlement on 10/28/24. The representative was eager to settle the debt, until she reviewed my account and said that they cannot negotiate collection accounts for military personnel. I am not currently or ever served in any branch of the military. I am a civilian who rented an apartment on a military base and defaulted on rent during COVID. I find it discriminatory that a creditor refuses to negotiate with someone solely based on their occupation. I confirmed the information given to me multiple times worded several different ways to ensure understanding in which I received the same response. She stated I already know if I were to ask my supervisor they would say no. I ended the call by stating I would call back. Given the discriminatory practices I experienced from this business I do not feel comfortable proceeding in any business matters with them. I am requesting this to be marked as settled and removed from my credit report.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 11/15/2024

Called creditor to negotiate settlement of debt. On a recorded line, I was informed by ****** that they were unable to negotiate as I am military. It is illegal to refuse to negotiate a debt solely based on their employer. I stated I would contact the original creditor directly and was told that the original creditor no longer has control over the account as it was sold. I understand they dont have to negotiate a settlement however their refusal was based on my employer alone. I am requesting this be removed from my credit report as I am no longer comfortable interacting with a company who gives false, fraudulent information.
