    Horrible and criminal. We set up an account for this new house and all seemed good. One morning when no one was home a Texas gas employee comes and puts a notice on the door saying gas is temporarily on. 8 hours later they come back and turn it off. We had set up an account and the error was on their end. All they had to do was put a notice in the mailbox or call; and I would have instantly given them my bank info again; but nope they just turned it off same day they gave notice of an issue. It should be a crime to do this; I have a2 year old, a 6 month old and a pregnant wife. What makes it worse is I instantly called them and gave them my information again; and they told me that the earliest they could come back out was two days laterThis should be a crime.

    If I could rate this company 0 stars I definitely would they left me without any gas for 7 days including Christmas they are rude and even after confirming a same day appointment they cancelled it without ever notifying me. I have been 7 days with no heat, working stove or hot water because of their incompetence. The management is just as bad they love to treat people like garbage. I hope this company eventually gets shut down and we are able to get a new one in my area. I'm disgusted with them and I barely moved in. I will for sure notify every news station and everybody about the way they treat the customers the claim to "care" about.

    They got an award for how they treat veterans? REALLY? Cause I can tell you that they treated these two OIF veterans like GARBAGE. They turned off our gas without warning because, after we moved from ****** to ******** (veterans DO MOVE), they decided our "Real ID" provided was fake/fraud ("unverified") and shut off our gas. When we spoke with them, their excuse was that they understood us to be in ******, not ********, so they sent a notice to the Texas address (which we have NEVER lived at / received mail at - it's a rental unit, and they should know that since we've had a landlord account with them and various people identified as tenants responsible for the bill). So: you thought we were in ******, then you sent a letter to Texas (but you believed us to be in ******....) and then you shut off the gas. Okay.... PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MOVE AROUND. YOU SHOULD CALL THEM WHEN SOMETHING MAJOR IS GOING TO HAPPEN LIKE SHUTTING OFF OF SERVICE. You should have all veteran awards rescinded!! (and let me beat Texas Gas Service to their response: "we don't have an account with these names" -- OF COURSE THEY DON'T, anymore)

    They came and cut our gas off on a SATURDAY knowing we couldnt contact them until Monday! This is just plain unethical and unacceptable! I dont understand how you can come and just cut a needed service off! I am not happy I wish there was another gas service in town we would use them!
