    04/20/2024 Arlington Auto Trader *****************. Arlington, ** Gave a 3000. down payment for a car, it was not an "As is" car. That same night the check engine light came on. On Sunday I text ****** to inform him of the engine light, no respond, Called him Monday and he asked to drop the car off and did so. A week pass by and had not heard of them. Went in person to see if they do refund and was told no, I was so upset I just left. on the second week I called and they said they didn't know the car was there. Called the next day to speak to manager he stated he didn't know what was going on since he was not there the day he dropped the car off, called another supervisor **** and said the same then later on the third week was told car was in the shop but not at there location and the guy at the service department could not find the car in their system. on forth week been told the car will ready call to make sure and they say tomorrow, the next day I called and they say is not ready. 5/10/2024 they already took first payment and I still have no car.

    We received your complaint regarding your 2017 Cadillac XTS. We contacted the dealership, and the General Manager agreed to swap it for another vehicle to help you with the transportation; therefore,please contact the dealership and pick another car.

    Please note that a correction issue with the vehicle and note payments are not the same issue because a note payment is a promised payment under the Motor Vehicle Retail Installment Sales Contract that you agreed to and signed to finance your vehicle with the finance company.However, a correction issue with the vehicle is the dealership's responsibility, and the issue may be covered under the Limited Warranty.

    I bought a car from this dealership 1/13/2024 and had the car for only 2 weeks took it back on 1/29/2024 because it had mechanical issues. And I have not received the car back to this day, I have called and spoke to both managers of Arlington auto trader and each time I have called them they have told me the car will be ready this day and this day. And when the day comes its not ready Im really frustrated with them.

    I was at this car dealer was interested in a red Cadillac. I put down a deposit of $2500 they wanted $5100 for the down payment however my bank was only letting me do $2500 at the moment. I was supposed to have came back the next day to finish purchasing, but I decided to go with something else. I called my bank to let them know to cancel the transaction & started a claim with my bank. The bank credited me the $2500 until they the carlot credited me back my deposit. Well the car lot never did refund me my $2500. They are even stating that they dont see it in their system. I showed them my bank state T from the bank of them saying I owe them $2500 because they never did credit me back my money. *** been talking to a guy named ****** who is not concerned about my money & was very rude when I was talking to him. All I want is to be treated fairly and my money back and Ill be gone on about my business.

    We received your complaint, and we reviewed the attached that had a snapshot from your phone & a letter from your bank.

    We want to thank you for stopping by our dealership to check out our great selections that were on the lot.

    Our dealership policy required us to provide a receipt when we received a down payment for a vehicle. Since we did not see you provide a copy of the receipt from our dealership, perhaps you may have lost it,let trying to remember where you kept it.

    It is very difficult to perform a transaction without a receipt. Again, thank you for stopping by to check out our inventory at the dealership.

    Also, your bank could have a better guide or information to help you with this issue.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have ****** the receipt number that was provided to him on yesterday 8/23/23z he said that he would pass it on to you all ! Again the receipt number is 00000152000154397823 im not sure why you all are acting as if you dont see it . But myself & a few more of youre workers watched me pay $2500 ! Next youll be hearing from my lawyer & itll be more than $2500 cause this is crazy ! Its sick that you all are trying to play me out of my hard earned money! But yeah Im taking all the precautions to get back my money!
