  Jennifer ******* is extremely rude, unprofessional, demeaning, and has no respect for "customers." I've always been big on customer service so it is very disheartening when you experience what my wife and I experienced for the last several months as we tried to get our taxes settled for 2022. Here is just a list of facts.... She never once called us back. All questions went through office staff. Until we emailed her staff that she lost our business, and then my wife got two back to back phone calls and when she didn't answer, got a very unprofessional email. See next fact... She emailed my wife a very ugly email asking us to never contact her office and never answered why the IRS claimed we owed DOUBLE what she said we owed, and the kids owed $1,000 MORE than what she said they owed My wife, understandably, emailed back in anger, and Jennifer emailed her bosses and tried to get her in trouble at work. (Kind of crazy, if you ask me) I went in person to try the "more flies with honey" tactic and to be calm, and it ended with her screaming at me to leave or she would "call the cops." The question I asked prior to this was "Why is a kiddie tax complicated." Well, because its actually not, I found out after talking to other tax professionals. We still have no answers but called several actual CPA's and found a great one that has gone above and beyond and will fix the whole mess we are in. I also found out by calling other CPAs that we were being charged DOUBLE what others would charge each of our children. Easy money and simple returns and she still couldn't answer any of our important and obviously time-sensitive questions. Definitely would NOT recommend her. I am pretty understanding about things, and have never written a negative review in my life, but she crossed the line and I just want to make sure nobody else in Abilene or surrounding areas has to deal with this person. Just go somewhere else...Trust me on that.

  The IRS sent us a letter saying we owe twice the amount of money that Jennifer Elliott says we owe, yet I can't get her to respond as to why that is. She is also handling 4 very large trust funds for my children which receive identical payout, yet the amount she says each one owes is different. I do not have confidence that she knows what she is doing or that she cares to correct her mistakes. She won't return phone calls. Her office staff intervenes and has to wait on her to get back to them, but she doesn't give them answers, either. A CPA should be able to answer a question as to why her tax return says we owe around $5,000 when the IRS is demanding over $11,000! I read on other sites that she has a reputation of being rude and not doing tax returns correctly, and that has been my experience as well.
