I had several questions after receiving an e-mail that one of my e-mail addresses and information had been detected on the dark web. My questions were answered and Chris walked me through putting a credit freeze through ******** and gave the phone numbers to call for the other credit reporting agencies. They were polite and professional in assisting me with this.

I have recently retired from military, always had life insurance once you retire you lose military life Ins. Called Zander back in July 2020 they sent a rude nurses assistant to house for physical, tooblood and and urine . Then they called for more information I sent it all, then they wanted more information, I sent it all now they want all of my VA files from 2007. Totally confidential records, a direct violation of the HIPPA Act. They are NOT military friendly, all was well until I mentioned military and deployments. Now its excuse after excuse why I haven't been excepted. I am disappointed in *********** his recommendations are not always so reliable like he advertises. Now I told Zander send me my blood work results and delete ALL of my information, I am done with this company.

We are sorry to hear of the client's frustration with the application process; a manager has reached out via phone and email to discuss his concerns and provide clarification regarding some of the misconceptions reflected in his review. Regarding the comments about the examiner, the client had not previously expressed any concerns about their behavior. However, while the exam company is contracted by the insurance company directly, we will relay his experience to the local exam office manager for proper handling and coaching. We serve and assist members of the military every day and respect his service to our country, as does the insurance company with which he applied. The information that was requested from the client is a normal and expected part of the underwriting process and was in no way impacted by the client's military history. The VA files he referenced were requested from the past five years, not from 2007, and are commonly asked for based on medical information provided on the initial application. This expectation is clearly set with each and every client we assist, and this customer signed the HIPAA authorization that allows the insurance company to request those medical records from the VA, therefore there was no breach of privacy or protocol on the part of Zander or the insurance company. In order to approve an application for insurance, an insurance company must adequately assess the risk of insuring an individual. Unfortunately, based on the client's discomfort with the necessary requirements and his request to close the file, we are unable to ensure that he has the life insurance protection needed to protect his family. That being said, we are here to help if he decides to move forward with pursuing coverage.

Every time I've contacted Zander, they really put me at easy. They are direct, professional, and sympathetic. I cannot recommend Zander's ID Theft insurance highly enough! It's a small price for a great deal of peace of mind.

My experience with the Zander company has been concerning from the beginning. After filling out my application and request for a quote I was directed to a third party company, ************. A few weeks ago I completed my online phone interview and was scheduled to have my physical exam. But a couple days later I got an email saying I still needed to complete my interview. I called the company and they updated my file and confirmed everything was up to date in my file. Yesterday I was supposed to have my physical exam. I even received an email confirmation two days before my appointment. I drove 30 miles to the appt only to find out the business, ********, has been closed for over a month due to COVID-19. The representatives representatives at the company booked and confirmEd an onsite exam with a business that is closed. When I noticed the building was not open I called the number in my email. A nice woman answered and said she would call me back to set up an exam in my home, but I never received a call back. This is very concerning

We are very sorry to hear of this negative experience and have completed a review of the applicant's file to determine what caused the breakdown in communication. The third-party company that completes the telephone interview and schedules the exam on behalf of ************ made some mistakes in their handling that led to this disappointing chain of events. Each insurance company makes its selection of the vendors for the phone interview and the exam. We strive to make sure that all the parts come together in unison to make things easier for our clients; clearly, this time that did not occur First, the exam was scheduled at a location that was closed due to the pandemic. The interviewer failed to recognize this. However, a representative from the local exam office reached out two days before the scheduled date to advise that the appointment should be rescheduled either at another location or for an at-home visit. That representative did not contact the client via phone, and no one from Zander was notified of this development so that we could assist with outreach to reschedule. As a result, the client made a wasted trip and her subsequent attempt to reschedule with someone from ******* was unsuccessful. Upon receiving this review, several members of our management team contacted ******* for a full explanation of what occurred and asked that a manager at the regional level address this with the local office and reach out to the client to apologize. To date, Zander management has made multiple attempts to contact the client but we have not heard back. We would like the opportunity to overcome the poor start of her experience that was caused by ******* and regain her trust and her business.

Chose Zander's based on ***********'s endorsement and am pretty disappointed. It took a while to get my policy and the price is much higher than the initial quote. I tried to contact the case manager and after 2 voicemails ane one email never heard back. Had to keep calling and she finally picked up. She did not know who I was and that my policy has been approved for 2 weeks at that point. She immediately said now that I got my policy, it is no longer with her and she will transfer to the other department (what a relief for her) and the other department can help me see if another insurer can offer a better rate. Same thing with the other group, no returning emails or voicemail. No one picks up the phone. Zander's customer service is almost nonexistent. I have no accepted the policy and am inclined to go with another broker even if I get the same rate just so that Zander's does not take a commission on my case.

We are very sorry to hear that the client was not satisfied with her experience and are working diligently to rectify the situation. When we received this review, the management team jumped in to investigate the issues noted by the client. Regarding the timeframe, there was a delay in underwriting caused by medical records retrieval. Many times a request for a client's medical records will result in the timeframe extending beyond the average of 4-6 weeks, and this case was no exception. Despite the delay, our team stayed in contact with the client to provide updates on a regular basis. Unfortunately, once the application was approved, there was an error on our side that prevented the client from receiving return correspondence from us in a timely manner. The issue has been identified, and the parties involved have been provided coaching on following up within the expected timeframe. Unfortunately, we could not have anticipated the change in the price because the approval was based on information that was not disclosed to us at the start of the process. However, since the time of this complaint, the client has been connected with the appropriate person to assist her with alternative options and we are back on the right track. As we continue to assist this client, her file will be followed by a member of management so that a resource is always available to her and there are no delays in processing. We are terribly sorry for the frustration caused by her experience and look forward to making this right.

So far we have used Zander 3x for Life insurance policies over the years which saved us a lot by pointing us to the best insurance rates. Last year we got their ID Theft protection plan on our family. Over the past years they alerted us twice that a username and password combination was found on the "dark web." I was abled to change the relevant account passwords and forget about it. But I also called and asked for clarification about "dark web." Though they couldn't pinpoint where it would have leaked from (because there are so many possibilities), I spoke to a real person very quickly who was helpful in answering several of my questions. I recommend Zander insurance and have been happy with them for several years.

My father purchased ID theft protection from this company. Unfortunately my dad passed away recently and a few months after his death, Zander Insurance made the automatic withdrawal from his bank account for the ID theft protection. I called them over 2 weeks ago, sent in the death certificate and they still have not refunded the withdrawal for a service that obviously is going to be unused. I've talked to 3 different people and get 3 different stories about the process for refund. The length of time it takes for them to get a simple refund accomplished is ridiculous. I'm guessing that money is just gone. Don't waste your time or money with this company. Their customer service is slow and not of any service!

We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to fix this problem, as the client's request should have been quickly and easily processed without issue. A supervisor reached out to the complainant to gather more details and provided immediate resolution. The team members responsible for the delay have received coaching on the proper protocols for processing refunds so that this does not occur to any member again in the future. We offer our sincere apologies for this situation and thank Mrs. W****** for making us aware.

After filing this feedback I was quickly contacted by Ms. K**** a supervisor within Zander Ins. She diligently worked to resolve my refund issues. I truly appreciate Zander's acknowledgement of the problem and there efforts to refund the ID theft protection cost and the employee coaching to ensure this is handle more timely for other customers. The refund was processed very quickly and Zander Ins. Co. seemed to really understand the sensitivity of the matter.
