On 9/25/2023 I towed my 2006 ****** Xterra to Ewing Bass after it broke down on 24. I had called a couple garages to see who could fix it and for what price. Ewing said they could fix it if I left it with them for a couple days. After dropping of the vehicle they said they would have their transmission guy look at it first but it doesn't seem like a huge issue to fix. I waited a week, heard nothing, on week two I called and they hadn't touched it yet but would need to do a tune up, and it wouldn't cost more than $900, but they would get to it this week and I would have it back the following week. Then week three I heard nothing, Finally week four, after I have had to uber to work and school I was getting mad that it has taken this long I called and called, finally heard from them and they said they couldn't fully fix my vehicle and I had to take it somewhere else bc the exhaust is not breathing, but they gave it a tune up, replaced spark plug, ignition coil, and a hose to the air intake and the engine is running better and the bill is $1270. I was mad over the price and asked if they could do anything being that they kept it for four weeks and was told no. After paying and I get my vehicle towed back to my apartment, I disconnect the exhaust to see how the engine is running and the vehicle quits on the highway again, this time I look at the parts they just put in and they are sitting in oil inside the engine and this wasn't happening before. They severely damaged my engine but whatever they did. I believe because my vehicle has out of state tags that they took advance of me. I called and left several voicemails to have them call me and none have been returned.
