1 star4.8.24 I have made repeated attempts to escalate ongoing termite issues/hot spots despite having long standing contracts for both pests and termite. Chats, calls and requests for them to contact local branch manager after many times of being given the wrong number- go completely unanswered. Today in a chat I was told that they can't escalate without a tech appointment being given - even though the issues is much more than sending another tech in. So I said to go ahead and schedule a visit - only to be told that there was "no times avail" and that they would have to contact someone else who would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. It is virtually impossible to get anything done with the customer service call and chat/ text- other than scheduling a visit - and honestly you are lucky if you can get that . There have been many times that I have simply scheduled a visit and no one shows up.I have been waiting for over a year for a re tenting - while maintaining ( and paying ) yearly for the termite contract. I have at least 10 hot spots in my house now ( and usually at all times )- the house has stood for 90 years - but fear that the local Terminix will continue to put the care , money and attention I have put in my home at risk . I don't think I have ever seen any service/ business organization that quite literally will not escalate a customer service /account problem. We have been customers in many different of our homes for 20 years..I will continue to try and see if I can get some kind of communication ( in writing ) escalated within their organization. If anyone has any ideas or customer escalation email address that would be super helpful .Terminix

1 starI wish to have read recent reviews for Terminix before spending $3100 for wildlife exclusion and new gutter toppers all sold to eliminate wildlife entrance. First of all the salesman used his IPad to enter everything with no print out of receipt or contract. I was promised this paperwork by salesman and a contact ********** believe was her name. I am totally surprised at the unprofessional service and out right lies I have witnessed with Terminix. I had dishwasher repairs to waterline of $597 and have pictures of kitchen cabinets, chewing on lids and plastic containers where flour, dog food is kept. I have sent these pictures to ***** the local manager, asking for help. More times than not Im ignored. On occasion, he will send someone who doesnt even know what he is here for except to put the sticky traps in the basement where so far no evidence of intruders. I recently ask a tech to check the attic and add traps. A roofer was up there last week and two mice was freshly caught. soI let ***** know., as I was told they would come for them and add more traps. Fortunately, The roofer took the mice away, never a word from *****. I ask for more traps since there may be more. No answer again. I have pictures of yet another invasion. I feel like Im living in deplorable conditions, and this is the last resort with Terminix. I use Terminix for termite control. and pest control, so one would think they would appreciate my business. Im would like a refund, so I can hire some one who knows what to do. This is the most aggravating company I have ever dealt with in my 79 years.Review fromRochelle H

1 starThey are a rip off. I moved home to help my elderly parents. Long story short Terminix was on payroll from my parents for probably 15 years or more. There home was so over ran by mice. I was stepping on mice in their hallway and kitchen at night. They were coming when my parents werent home and leaving their post it notes they had sprayed outside. So my parents asked them to only come when they were home. So they could make sure they were taking care of the mouse INFESTATION inside. They assured my parents they wouldnt treat the outside without them being home to do the inside. Very next month a note on the door Terminix has been here. Billing them through the whole infestation and never getting rid of the rodent problem. They also told my parents about sticking some steel wool or something where they claimed there was a hole they were getting in. Finally i got my parents to fire them and go with a new Pest Control service. Within a couple weeks never again seen a mouse. Moral to the story they deceive the elderly do nothing to earn the payment and have been billing for services my parents never received. DO NOT USE this company. 1 starTerrible Service, came out charged me cam and installed mice traps and then never came back to pick them up, did nothing and wont refund me and aren't even coming to pick up their materials. Worse is they never told me they were going to come back out and now I don't show up as a customer. No one to talk to but a call center. Do not use this company. Choose Local.Review fromShayna C

1 starVery poor customer service. Techs do not show up when appointments are made and then they reschedule you, only to not show up again.. It happened to me several times. No way to speak to a manager. They kept me on the phone for 45 minutes back-and-forth trying to get through to a manager and did not allow me to speak to one nor did I get a return call from one.No resolution to my complaints. 2 starsI have been a customer for several years now, with just the basic exterior pest control. I have been very happy during those years, with the spiders and other pests in our house now at a minimum, and our tech, ****, is phenomenal!My issue is with a different employee and the customer service following an incident. I had an exlusion rep come out to investigate the attic after hearing some type of critters up there. This rep was not entirely truthful with myself and spouse, telling us that by signing up for a different plan, we would be getting more services but paying less money. Unfortunately, this was not the case. While the payment itself is lower, it is billed monthly rather than quarterly, resulting in paying more overall. When I called customer service to change back to our original plan, I was told that we would be charged a cancellation fee that was almost the same amount as continuing our contract. After getting nowhere with the customer service rep, I decided to submit a request online, which said I would get a response within 1-2 business days. It has not been a full week with no response.While I would like to continue being a Terminix customer, I do not feel I can continue doing business with a company that I do not trust to be honest. As soon as my contract is up, I will be cancelling ALL services and switching to a different company. I would urge everyone to stay away from Terminix!Review fromSergio C

1 star$3861,00 got stolen from me, they never provided the service was promised, only removing the old insulation and add a new one, leaving the rats on my attic.If this company try to sell you any service make sure not sign any satisfaction letter before the first week, they dont care about customer.Review fromCarol L

1 starEach technician tells me something different in what they can do. Want my house with full basement sprayed inside and out . Been told by all that it is illegal to spray around the walls even in basement, the last technician wouldnt ********** around the outer walls in my garage or around the back wall of my house because I have a concrete pad attached. After questioning why my inside outer walls around the baseboards could not be sprayed he final** said they could but I would have to leave for a couple of hours he said he could set up another appointment for that. Talked with manager and he said he would send another tech out . He came out today but based on his comments he indicated that he on** sprayed around the doors and windows. He couldnt explain why each technician tells me something different. The one that came out last week even said he could be put in jail if he sprayed in my garage and back of house where concrete pad is. Why are they **ing? Is this how they are trained? On** do the bare minimum and if a customer wants more you ** and say its illegal. I understand why they are rated so low! The technician left today and called his manager and they immediate** canceled my contract. Wondering if ******************** knows this is happening. No way to get in touch with headquarters . Supposed to get a refund on last treatment since it was not completed and this guy left without treating the areas that was not treated but I doubt it after looking at the other complaints and reviews! I am probab** viewed as being a difficult customer but anytime you get different information from each technician it puts a lot of doubts in your mind about the company. If you are one that trust workers to come out when you are not there you are very trusting the workers actual** do the whole job! Guess Ive seen too much!Review fromTara H

1 starI would not ever recommend Terminix to anybody. I scheduled for spiders and bees. I spent all day waiting for them to show up, ended up being a no call no show, when I called they already had me rescheduled for another day without my knowledge. So now I'm out 2 days of work, the guy they sent out was someone that does not go out to houses he sits behind a desk all day. He did not bring a bee suit, so no problem solved there. He was supposed to come in my house and spray for spiders. Never stepped foot in the house. The only thing he did was put some sticky traps in my garage which is not attached to the house and I mentioned nothing being done to my garage. He told me to put bug lights down in my field and gave me a couple websites to get the same chemicals they use. So I refused to pay the bill, disputed it several times and they sent me to collections so I just paid it today.
