      I Purch aced an Alternator from DB electric after doing research and contacting them a few times asking questions abut their products .The sales person stated that their product was superior to most competitors for a better price and exceeded industry standards .So i purchased from the almost to the Day 18months ago .So boy ole boy was i shocked when almost to the exact day of the 18th month i open the hood because of a whining noise to find out that the bearing in the alternator had spun. So i reached out to DB electric and was told that there is a 12 month warranty on all there part and there was nothing they could or would do about it .I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there was none working. so i did and never recieved a call or any contact tors'a supervisor of any sort .I called and explained that the industry standards for an alternator.NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would buy their product only last you 18 months , and I explained that i do under stand that 12months is 12 months but when your product fails to live up to the standards that your salesman says it far superior to then I would think that exception would be made if not for sake of great customer relations at bare morals and principals its the right thing to do because the unit you sold me did not live up to mine ,the industry and im very sure their own either .There is no way on earth you design these things to last 18 months no wone would want a reputation we all was a solid foundation behind our name and brand but this right is is horrible I have attempted to speak to a supervisor more than 10 times to no avail

Also one of the screen shots provided shows that a return was started and approved by Amazon and they would be refunded when returned. Amazon does send replacements if they have stock. If they do not have stock they will issue a refund when the item is returned.       Purchased a DB Electrical starter with 1ye manufacturer warranty on Amazon on May 27th. Installed the product a month or two later and it failed. I contacted the manufacturer and they insisted that they are not obligated to honor their warranty, Amazon is. I contacted Amazon and they said that DB Electrical was obligated to service their warranty, not Amazon, but that they would replace it because of good account history. Fast forward to me getting the replacement new product now, and the starter sprocket has a defect that prevents it from being installed. Amazon's site doesn't allow me to return this, and DB Electrical is yet again refusing to service the warranty. I am moving out of my apartment, so the address listed is where you can contact me if necessary.

Under Magnusson-Moss, the terms of warranty are to be disclosed fully and conspicuously. The manufacturer warranty, as available on their website at the time, contained no such disclaimers as to indicate that DB Electrical would not honor the warranty on this product.       I purchased an item from amazon.com. New DB Electrical Alternator Compatible With 1999 Chevrolet Silverado ***** **** Silverado XXXX XX-XX-XXXXN, *********** *********** X-XXXX-XXDR, XXXXXXXXN, ****** ******* Order Placed: September 5, 2021 Amazon.com order number: XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX Order Total: $110.29 Link to the product that states there is a 1 year warranty. The item failed after 10 months of light use. I contacted the manufacturer that states there is a 1 year warranty. View the link above to the exact item I purchased. They replied back stating: "We do not cover any warranties on direct purchases from Amazon. When you buy directly from Amazon all you have is the Amazon warranty. Amazon took your money. We did not. They give you 30 days to return it. After that you will need to call them directly and tell them DB Electrical said there is no factory warranty and that they need to cover your warranty. Sorry about the troubles." Their website also states a 1 year warranty. Nowhere any where on the amazon.com listing, or the manufacturer website does it state the item has to be purchased from their online web store or amazon store. Links to warranty terms. The reply from the manufacturer is either wrong or they are falsely advertising warranty terms.

      On Sept 15, 2021, I purchased an alternator for $83.07 from DBElectrical via their ********** online store. On 01/04/2022 the alternator failed and would not provide power to the batteries. I contacted ********** who refered me to DBElectrical directly to file a warranty claim. DBElectrical stated that the warranty claim has to be honored by Amazon, not them. Both their ****** store and company website state their is a one year warranty. My response to their warranty denial: Hello, ****** will not honor the warranty as it is not their product and is past the 60 day return policy period to have returned via ******* Please review the following link in which you have setup your ****** business site. ****** is another platform to sell your product from your business and thus, is just the middleman for selling your products. It is disingenuous and poor business practice to attempt to not honor a warranty on a product you sell just because you chose to advertise the product on ******* Furthermore, your ****** product listing states "1-year warranty protects you after your purchase. We're confident that our products will work flawlessly once installed in your vehicle. But in a rare case that it does not, we'll replace it anytime within one year of your order. If you have a problem, we will take every step to assist you, contact us for a replacement." This is also the exact same verbiage on your DBelectrical.com website. I do not understand why I would need to be given the run-around by your company as it will sold by you and the money I paid for the alternator was ultimately given to you through the intermediary. Your company has good reviews both on your website and ******* so I suspect this decision is being made independently and not by company policy. We are talking about an $89 part. I would not fall on the sword and face possible fraud charges if this was not your product. I am simply asking for you to honor the warranty. Please honor your warranty as advertised.

We sell on ****** two different ways. One way is the item is sold and ship by DB Electrical. The other way is it is sold and shipped by ********** Services LLc. If it is a item we sold to ****** for resale, we have given ****** a defect discount to handle all the warranty issues. We will contact Amazon and remind them of their agreement.

      I purchased a altenater on 8/9/21 (order#XXXXXX) when I got the confirmation I noticed that the order was for two alternators, I only wanted one so immediately tryed to contact them to fix this but had no luck contacting anyone by phone or email they didn't return my calls (3) not email's*(4) so the package was sent. So I tracked the order and UPS said the address was not legitimate (the address is 105 years old) needless to say I never received the order. UPS sent the order back to DB Electrical. In the mean time I ordered another alternator from Amazon (it arrived in 3 days). Now it's been 2 weeks at this point, I tracked the order back to DB Electrical and they refunded half of my money sence then I have spoken to a representative three times a week apart and they tell me the same thing every time ( I will receive my money 24 to 48 hours it's now been over a month still no refund please help .... thank you

      I ordered a mower clutch from Xtreme Outdoor Power Equipment on June 24, 2021 and received it on July 2, 2021 : but it was damaged before shipment and was obviously the wrong part number. I received an return RMA (#XXXXXX) from DB Electrical right away and it was returned and received by them (****) on July 7. I sent them an email about my order (XXXXXXX) and RMA on July 22 about my refund with no response. I tried calling them on 8/2/2021 but was hung up on while waiting for my turn in line. I left a call back number but have gotten no response from them.

      I bought a starter motor for my riding mower from DB Electrical which turned out to be the wrong part for my engine. Probably my fault not ordering correctly. Their policy states returns and exchanges are fine within 30 days of purchase date. I wish to exchange it. I have emailed them twice, and tried calling their returns line countless times. I only get a message saying no one is available to answer my call, leave a message and they'll call me back within 24 hours. No one has answered my emails or called me back in the past week I've been trying to reach them and the clock is ticking on my 30 days..

      I bought an alternator in August 2020 I returned the alternator for a refund in February 2021 (they are ok with a late return). I was notified that the refund had been through PayPal. PayPal has no record there is no refund in PayPal for me. I have emailed the company ...I have called the company multiple times I have gotten no response.
