We purchased a swing from SoCo Swings, Order Number: 8151, on April 27th for $775, with a stated six-to-eight-week delivery time. Numerous emails attempting to obtain order status have gone unanswered and were going into the ninth week. Delivery would be the desired outcome, but a full refund would suffice.Business Response

Ordered product on April16th. Told it would be 4 weeks. Now June 17th and still no chair. Order number 8028. Several emails sent few replies but now after 5 emails they stopped responding. I purchased a double swing Oct 2022 at a craft fair. ***** ****** is the guy we bought from with SOCO SWINGS. It took a VERY long time to arrive, always an excuse if he even responded. It was at least 4 times the estimate of delivery he had given us at the sale. Then the following April we contacted ***** as the wood frame was badly splitting apart. He said he would gladly ship us a new frame. It again wasn't getting to us and he rarely answered calls or texts. I called and texted regularly with no luck. Finally in October we got the new frame. 6 months later! Now currently the cover we got from him is rotting from the sun so we wanted to BUY another one. The shipping cost online was insane so I texted and called him to see if there was another option, He responded that for ***** he would ship me a new one , Cost of cover ***** plus small *** for shipping. I agreed and thanked him. I called him and he took my credit card payment over the phone and said the cover would arrive in a week. Well it never did. I call and text with no response may times. Then May 16th he texted sorry for the delay but I would get the cover in a week. I call and leave VM and I text, Its now June ************************ response from *****...NOTHING!!. What kind of business is this? Its ridiculous! I paid for the cover I simply wanted it to be delivered. ***** has not responded to a call and VM or texts. Very poor business and if I see him at a another craft show I will have no problem telling people do NOT buy from this company!Business Response

we are very sorry to hear about **** however you purchased items from somone who is not empliyed by socoswings. ***** is selling our items, even though he doesnt have anything to ship. We've reached out to authorities many times about this. He collected your money, we did not. You'll see this on your credit card reciept.

I went to the arts and craft show on December 8th,2024 While there I bought 3 outdoor swinging chairs from a vendor. I paid $800 cash and $303 on my debit card. The vendor said it would take 8-12 weeks to get the product we agreed.Long story short I had his cell phone number saved and had been texting him a few times for an update. He stopped responding February 3rd. I now fully believed Ive been scammed as I still dont have the chairs, and he is no longer responding to me.Business Response

I'm pretty sure we've spoken to the customer on the phone. These items were not purchased from an authorized socoswings vendor. they were purchased from an individual who is fraudulently selling our products at shows and he's not delivering them. If you check your bank statement or credit card statement you will see that Soco Swings is not the merchant who charged you. We are very sorry this happend to you but there isn't anything we can do about this. We do not even have this customer in our database so we know the sale wasn't made by someone from our company.Initial Complaint

My wife purchased a swing and and base from SOCO swings. The item showed up and was built. Within 2 months the wood on the swing began to crack and weather and the screws have begun to rust. Additionally, the base is also splintering and cracking and is starting to pose a safety issue. I reached out to the company and was told that "**** needs to be maintained". While I agree that wood needs to be maintained, it should not be in the condition it is in within 2 months. They offered to send new swing arms, however I do not want to have to change out wood arms 4 times a year.Business Response

Ordered replacement cushions for my two Soco Swings in Navy on January 5, 2024. Have not received. Was told out of navy will get more in end of February, heard nothing sent another email was on 3/31 that navy was just received would have my order out by end of the week, then in April told sorry out of Navy when I had just been told in March the Navy was in and would ship. It is now June 6 2024 and I am not getting response from my email on when and/or if I will ever get these. I either want these two cushions or a refund as this is not good business and from reading the BBB files it appears that there are many of us having this issue. I had left numerous messages on Instagram and on the Soco business website but the business has ignored my every attempt to contact them. Its unbelievable that I havent received a response. I ordered a replacement cover and cushion for my outdoor swing on 9/2/2023 and still have not received my item as of 11/1/23 BUT THE WORSE part is that Im not getting ANY response.
