My error was not reading these reviews before I bought the recliner. Not long after the warranty expired so too did the electrical control switch. Now I'm stuck with a piece of furniture with the footrest in a "partial up position"! I contacted the company, spoke to a woman in Customer Care (what a joke those two words are) and was asked to send copies of paperwork, description of the problem, pictures of the chair, etc. Emails went back-n-forth for almost three weeks. Exasperated, I threatened to go to the BBB (waste of time as the Cleveland, TN chapter is shutdown). After more emails, the woman said Jackson Furniture would send me a new switch, zero cost to me. It's been 3 weeks. NO SWITCH!!! I'm guessing that promise was to get me off her back. No new switch and the chair will end up in the dump...

Horrible quality furniture. I had a couch frame break down within a year. Filed a claim against the extended warranty I had purchased with the couch. Repairman came out and determined the frame was faulty and needed to be fixed. Jackson rep denied the claim, saying it was regular wear and tear, despite the repairman's recommendation. The warranty is a scam, as they did not honor it despite it being an obvious claim. Avoid any furniture made by Jackson Furniture. Check their other reviews, all saying the same thing.

I Purchased, a lift chair from a local dealer, and it was a Jackson/Catnapper chair, it had to be replaced twice, it took seven months before they actually got my chair, hopefully this one will work correctly, I have not gotten it from the dealer as of yet. Jackson furniture does not work well with the dealer on the warranty at all.

I purchased a catnapper recliner about 5 years ago. The workmanship and quality of the product is horrendous. The headrest, arms and anywhere your body touches as peeled and frayed terribly. This recliner was used infrequently by an adult. I paid $650 for a chair that will go in the garbage. There marketing material states their furniture is made to last. They should add barely five years. Their customer service was useless with their recommendations. I could purchase replacement parts from them. That would be an entirely new chair. Do not buy anything from this company.

Purchased a Jackson Catnapper “Daly”manual recliner back in February 2023. It was delivered within a week. I purchased it from ********* *** *** appliance store, and with it I also bought a 5-year warranty for repairs ($99). Total cost: $ 800 plus $72tax. Not cheap, and we have purchased many great appliances there so I equated price with quality. Bad theory. After about 2 weeks, the right arm of the chair ( the side with the lever to lift the recline feature) became loose. A couple days later it was totally disattached, dangling from the chair, only held on by the fabric upholstery. We dont mistreat furniture and do not have kids jumping on it etc. I called ********* and they made an appt for the repair man to come. In the meantime I noticed the very cheap lightweight particle board the the chair is made out of ( there were pieces of it cracked off on the floor under the arm) and how the arm is literally stapled to the chair frame. I also looked up reviews of Jackson furniture and they are all horrible. I called *** to ask for a refund, replacement or return with store credit and they said if I didn’t have it repaired I would void the original warranty . After two visits from the repair man both times saying he could not repair it , I finally got a call from *** saying the new arm was going to come in Sept 14th. To their credit, they did offer me a gift card to the store for my inconvenience. But I have had a useless, huge, expensive broken chair in my living room for seven months. It was pretty embarrassing when family came to visit! I am sure any repair will only be as good or less good than the original. I am glad I got the 5-year warranty I’m sure I’ll need it. I get sad thinking about my old Lane recliner that lasted 22 years , two kids, pets, pregnancies and a big husband that we got rid of. …. This thing is a piece of junk and the company policy is no better. Avoid Jackson at all costs.

I purchased 2 catnapper Magnum Chaise Rocker Recliners on 11/16/2021. Within a few months, both recliners started sagging and the seat and back cushions were breaking down. After 18mths of purchase (13 mths after delivery) one of the chairs was so bad it was causing neck and back pain from sitting in it. Since I also purchased a 5 yr additional warranty on both chairs, I contacted the warranty Co. To see what could be done. They said the additional warranty covered only the fabric (which is fine because I keep a cover on them) and I would have to contact the manufacturer. I have repeatedly called the manufacturer to get this resolved with no luck. I have talked to a real person twice and was told he would look into it and call me back. That return call has never come. I have tried to contact him again, leaving numerous messages sitting twice a day for 4 weeks. At this point I would like to return these chairs and never buy catnapper again.

Potential safety hazard of electrical furniture. Too bad I can’t give them a 0. Future buyer beware and please research thoroughly any & all reputable review sites before you buy. Your life & your life savings matter so make sure your research includes safety of the product, design and workmanship of the product and customer service to warranty. Do they stand behind the workmanship, quality & warranties as stated? Read them all. We will never buy their product again nor shop this retailer. We have been ignored & became irrelevant after purchase with no safety concern for me, my family or the hard earned money we spent that contributed to their wealth. We were left homeless in July ‘21 until April ‘22 until our new home was finally ready for move in. Sadly it was a total loss. This company should be ashamed how they ignore the many who made their success. Consider yourself warned. Because you will never hear from them taking responsibility of their so called luxurious furniture.

Beware of furniture purchases. I bought a recliner ($1200) 2 weeks ago (delivered in 3 days-yeah), and the left arm has cracked right off the frame so the chair is not usable. They claim to be sending a "repair person" out in 2 weeks to access it and will either repair or replace it. Luckily in hindsight, at the time I purchased it, I decided to purchase the $129.99 the extended warranty. But after reading several reviews, I'm seeing that this defect is not unique to me. The chair will for sure have to be replaced and I would prefer not to get the same model but the store I purchased it from does not offer anything comparable. Looks like I'll be stuck with yet another piece of junk. Don't let the name "Catnapper" fool you....it is seriously inferior merchandise. I searched for 3 months to find the perfect recliner for me, and I am so disappointed with my purchase.

This catnapper really stinks. The backrest has little cushioning and hurts my back. When reclining the exposed frame hurts my elbows. Can't use this thing.

We bought our Jackson Catnapper February 2022 and were originally happy with it. Fast forward to a year later and the arm broke off the frame. We called the business we bought it from and was told it's not covered under warranty since the year expired. Junk furniture for sure.
