    Hello, I had purchased a lifetime membership to Tanger outlets for specials and coupons and privileged parking, ect. I was informed after purchase this year that I am to renew my "lifetime membership". A lifetime membership should be as described when time purchased and not changed but he retailer due to their own marketing needs. I spend thousands of dollars at your locations yearly and am truly disappointed in this new membership. I ask that my lifetime membership be reinstated for "lifetime" and have continued customer service and specials as promised when I purchased this. I have made numerous phone, and email, and contact attempts that have all been unanswered by you and kindly ask you to remedy this issue swiftly and to my satisfaction. I am willing to speak to the media regarding this complaint should they deem it appropriate.

    In July 2023, Tanger ended its loyalty program and launched a new loyalty program. As part of that, members of the terminated program were moved at no cost to the new membership program in the highest tier of program (Gold) for the first year. At the end of that initial free year (which expires July 2024), these members will have the option of making an annual payment to stay in the higher Gold program tier or allowing their membership to revert to the new programs no-cost membership tier (Blue). Unfortunately,we are unable to maintain the terminated program for one consumer, but the consumer is able to stay in a program at no cost at the Blue tier level.

    We have a robust customer complaint system and do not have record of receiving a complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because: A lifetime benefit that is paid, should be honored. Please keep this marked as unresolved, and I am willing to speak to the media should they deem necessary. There were numerous attempts to resolve this through the companies chain however nothing ever came of it and it fell on deaf ears. There also was no notice to myself, the lifetime member of these changes that are exculpatory and not reflective of the breach of contact by Tanger.

    While our program has changed, and the lifetime of that program is now over, we continue to offer a TangerClub Blue membership at no additional charge with many of the same benefits as the previous one-tiered lifetime membership.
    We are not dis-honoring the lifetime membership. The previous single tier program  was terminated. He or she still has full access to TangerClub Blue at no charge.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have reached out numerous times on the companies website without any answer for several months numerous times. They may wish to check with their IT department and other customers with similar issues. I was not notified at all. In addition the Blue program is free and anyone can just download the app and sign up as a new customer. I think this is unfair and am disappointed in Tanger regarding their resolution to this issue. I would have helped for a better resolution since I have had a good relationship with Tanger for over a decade. Please **** this case as unresolved, as it is not at all to my satisfaction unless Tanger can come up with a middle ground to satisfy us both. Thank you!

    I continue to receive unsolicited marketing emails from Tanger Outlets. I've used the unsubscribe option on the emails multiple times, to no avail. I have also sent multiple emails to their contact us option from their website, however I continue to receive marketing emails.

    The customer was unsubscribed from ********************** promotional emails on 9/23/2023 and should have stopped receiving emails since sending this complaint. If customer is still receiving emails, please direct them to contact us at ********************************************************* so we can learn more to understand what messages are being received and how to assist in the resolution.
