    I rented a unit from this company with Nellie W****** as my leasing agent. I was harassed by her, and she has lied about me, and it now making more lies and harassing me instead of giving me my deposit back. She has lied about a lot of things about me and that unit and I have video evidence of my innocence! She is withholding my deposit after I cleaned the place and cleaned the carpets and turned in my keys to her! She is lying about the condition of the unit and is also lying saying I stole the keys etc! She is harassing me and will not stop communicating with me even though I have asked her to stop!

    This person vacated the unit April 1, 2023.

    The carpet will need to be replaced due to cat urine odor. There is a lease provision that says no pets.

    The dishwasher will have to be replaced, dirty standing water left in dishwasher and it was never reported that it was not working. Disposal will have to be replaced as it is not working and never reported. Metal lodged inside. 

    Bathroom grout throughout the tub is black and will have to re-grout if it cannot be cleaned.

    We have $850.00 in escrow . After doing the above repairs, we will release any remainder amount to her, but she will be responsible for any amount above the $850.00 per the lease.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 

    She is making up lies about me and any damage she is claiming. 
    There was no cat in the unit and the carpets were professionally cleaned and there was no odor. She did leave the unit with power many days after I left and she smelled the wet carpets that didn’t dry because of her  that was discussed in texts. I have texts from her stating how clean the carpets were when I moved out. The place was left immaculate and I have a witness and video proof as well. The dishwasher does NOT need to be replaced, the water in the drain didn’t drain and the water stayed in there, and that was also discussed with the representative in texts as well. It needs to be cleaned after they fix their pipes, and I explained that to her as well.  I left the unit well and clean and on time without owing her anything. She is making up lies about damages that did not occur in order to keep my deposit. She told me that the owner is renovating the condo and what she is trying to do is replace things in the condo on my expense. I don’t owe her any money. I paid everything properly. She is making up stories every day about this. I had to go to the police station and file a report on her yesterday because of the harassment, the lies she was making on me, the bullying, and the threats she was making towards me. She even threatened me via text if I didn’t revoke this complaint with BBB!!!!! I will not accept her bullying any further. I don’t owe them anything.

    Attaching the photos and videos below.
    Also I attached a video of the damages to the porch that ******’s construction crew caused while I was living there and didn’t fix!!!!!!!! Her part of the lease wasn’t held either. I had damages from her taking my porch down and never fixing it. I showed in the video how nasty and disgusting her construction crew left it for two whole months without fixing it. It was not that way when I moved in, and she never once fixed it. Anything that I asked of her while I lived there was Denied! She didn’t hold up her part of the lease. Her and melody the property manager also took down my outdoor blinds that I used for some sort of security after they ripped the porch down and I repeatedly asked them to put them back and they never did. She always ignored my issues there for the past year. That’s why I gladly moved out.

    Bailey Hiles was on a month to month lease and was given the proper 30 day notice to vacate on April 1, 2023. I am not sure when she took the power out of her name because she said she cleaned the unit but the power was off when I checked the unit. There was an odor in the unit, both the kitchen and the bathroom had not been cleaned. I called her to give her a chance to go back and clean this unit, she went back and only cleaned the fridge.  When I looked in the kitchen both the Dishwasher and Disposal would not work.  If she would have reported them to me, they would have been fixed.   I had to call an appliance person to check both the disposal and the dishwasher.   The odor was coming from the carpet so I called a carpet company and they determined the odor was coming from cat urine.    They had to take up all the carpet and pad in both the living room and the bedroom.   Also, they had to treat the concrete floor and the walls 4 ft up to kill the odor.  In her comments she said the place was spotless.

     

     

    She was constantly calling the police about the neighbors.  For example, she called the police on the neighbor that lived above her and told the police they were making so much noise having sex that she could not sleep.   After I gave her notice to vacate, I have received over 100+ text and calls from her, I have copies and would be glad to share.  She went to the Police Station and reported that I was bullying her, and they called me.   Never in my 80 years have I had a police officer scold me.  

     

    In her last statement, she said that I threatened her and told her to revoke the complaint to the BBB, that is not a true statement.  I never said that to her at all.

     

    In a Facebook post,(which  Marchant Prop. Management had her take it down) she said I stole money from other tenants’ security deposits. That is also not true.  I have been managing property for 40+ years at Riverbend Condos, I have never taken any money from the owners, tenants or anyone.

    The carpets were spotless. She is lying about all of her claims in order to get money. I gave her an opportunity to see the unit before I left so she could check it and she refused because she knew she was going to do this. This is why I had a witness upon vacating, took videos and pictures and time stamps on vacating. The carpet was professionally cleaned before leaving and I have proof. I also have proof of her saying that they were cleaned. I also told her I could come back and visit the unit when the power was back on, and she refused. Nellie is bipolar, and a liar. The police have seen her bullying and harassing me and they had to call her to stop. I will not tolerate this any further. She is lying about all damages. She has no proof of any damages that I caused. I will not tolerate her lies and bullying and harassment anymore. It was her that was a bad property manager, never once fixed my issues, ignored me, and wouldn’t help me while I lived there. She ignored all of my maintenance issues in the past year. I will not take responsibility for that. And no I didn’t send her those texts etc. she harassed me and threatened me and the police have records of this. Thank you.
