I continue to get bills from the company for a service not completed. I have had major issues with incompetence and poor functionality of this company ever since they bought out **** ****. The news just talking to a supervisor two weeks ago and when I sent yet another email to Jenifer more wanting to speak to him again, no calls. Bills are coming and your technician still had NOT come for the service. You did this with termite. Stop billing me when you all screw up and don’t get the service done. This is enraging how horrible this company is. Goes down hill. I will be search elsewhere. Ken and bj worked hard to build up their company and you have destroyed. Jennifer is not polite no hello, so sorry nothing on her emails. The manager doesn’t seem to have institute changes and doesn’t call. The one time he called previously he didn’t even leave a message. Yall got to get your act together.Business Response

At my previous residence in Hiram, GA, we had quarterly pest service from Gregory pest. We moved house in January 2023. Gregory pest contacted us via automated scheduling system to arrange the time and date for the quarterly service. They did this in January prior to our move. Each time, I selected the option to decline the time date after which the automated system indicated than an agent would call. I had planned to cancel service at that time due to the upcoming move. This did not happen (and agent never called) and instead, Gregory pest sent a technician to the house and provided service that was not wanted or requested as I no longer owned the house. They are now sending me regular bills ($83.75) and, when I have called to dispute this, they are nonetheless insistent that I should pay. Again, this service call was never agreed to by me.Business Response

- Monday 8/22/2022 -$85 - I was told by the sales team that there would be a 2 treatment arrangement for $150 per treatment. If it was higher I would not have agreed. - I asked if the person who came out could tell if it was actually fire ants before doing the treatment. The salesperson told me that they would need to send out a "Certified" technician to confirm. So that means the person who DOES the treatments are not certified. Charged me $85 to get someone out besides the employees that would do the treatment... It was mentioned as a deduction from the first treatment, but I am skeptical about this practice, especially with the issue I am having now about getting a refund. - When the "Certified" technician came out, we talked 10 ft from his truck, and refused to allow me to show him my yard by saying "Yup it is fire ants". I even mentioned that I had specific spots for him to see but he insisted that he did not need to see my yard. He was here for about 5 mins before leaving. He told me the 1-time treatment would be $300, but then went back to his truck and called his supervisor. When he returned he told me it would be $600 for the 1-time treatment which is double the amount I was agreeing to. I even explained in great detail what I agreed to with the sales team about the $150 per treatment. He seemed confused and said that the sales team must be confused about the size of my yard. He did not explore any other options besides the 1-time treatment. (As if this was the only treatment available) - When reaching back out to the sales team, they told me he was incorrect. That the treatment he offered was for the start of the year. Why would he offer that at the end of the year? This seems like a sales tactic to upsell me. - The signed agreement states services that were not done. There was no inspection of my yard, and the proposed treatment was incorrect. I requested a refund due to the unprofessional manner and was refused.Business Response

Mr. ****** signed an agreement with Gregory Pest Solutions and requested a fire ant/ant quote. The agreement outlines that there is a $85 fee associated to our technician going out on site to provide a quote for possible Pest Solutions. The fee therein is removed from the total cost of the job if the job moves forward. It is outlined that if the customer decides to not move forward with the work, the fee of $85 stands. Again, Mr. ****** signed and agreed to the agreement but decided to not move forward with Gregory Pest Solutions performing the work. Therefore the fee stands.
Thank you.Josh S*******

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The signed agreement was under the assumption that a "certified" technician would come out, inspect my yard, and provide a solution. The technician came out and did not inspect my yard, he stood 10 feet from his truck and refused to look at the rest of my yard, even after asking to show him specific concerns. The technician then proceeded to try and upsell me the wrong solution that is typically done at the start of the year not at the end of the year.
The technician then proceeded to tell me sales team was wrong in telling me the correct treatment. When calling back the sales team told me the technician was wrong. So if the technician that I signed to come out is wrong then the signed agreement is again not valid as he did not provide a solution to my issue.
When trying to reach a supervisor to resolve this issue. It took multiple attempts to get a hold of someone. When they finally reached out they just told me I signed the agreement without trying to understand or fix the issue.
The service I paid for was provided.

A certified technician went out to the property, confirmed that the issue was indeed fire ants. The pest was identified, treatment was communicated and quoted. It was Mr. ******'s decision to not move forward with our quote therefore the fee stands.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.Gregory Pest Solutions and Mr ****** ******** continue to ignore my complaints about how the service was not provided.
"A certified technician went out to the property, confirmed that the issue was indeed fire ants."
A "certified" technician came to my property and did not inspect my yard as stated in the agreement. (see Note 1.PNG) He walked 10 ft into my yard and refused to look at the rest of my yard, even after requesting to show him specific concerns. There could be more issues then just fire ants yet he was confident that was the only issue from a fraction of my yard. So I do not see how someone can say that he went out to my property and confirmed the issue. Confirmation would have been to walk all over my yard and properly inspect it. Yet Mr. ******** does not address that apparently that is all it takes to "confirm" that or they are avoiding mentioning what was actually inspected.
"The pest was identified, treatment was communicated and quoted"
The wrong treatment was communicated and quoted. If I knew this business communicated the wrong treatments as part of their services I would not have approached the company. Again, Mr ******** is avoiding mentioning the type of treatment that the technician "quoted" vs what their sales team quoted. They were different and they were both saying the other side was wrong.
(Note 1.PNG) states that the treatment method would be determined, yet it was now determined as it was the wrong treatment.
Both things mentioned by Mr. ******** is incorrect and he is avoiding my complaints.
"It was Mr. *******s decision to not move forward with our quote"
I decided not to move forward on the incorrect treatment that was quoted to me.Regards,
